Lucky Boston Chinese Restaurant

Granted egg rolls are all I ever order from here they are a 10/10. They are huge, flavorful, and amazing! Go buy an egg roll...trust me! Pleasssssey pleaseeeyyy lemon SQUEEZEY GO!

I used to swear by this place for Years before I moved to atlanta, and then I moved and came back and went to one on river st for yearsLast week I finally gave them a try again and they are still the same. Everything still looks and tastes the same surprisingly a decade later. The rice is DARK brown & they put bean sprouts & large chunks of onion in it. (I forgot to opt out of them, so spent most of my time picking them out) I ordered the large Pupu platter and it did not come with crab Rangoons which is different but I ordered it anyway. The beef teriyaki was flavorful but a little dry. The chicken wings weren't huge and were crispy. The fried shrimp was mainly batter. Boneless ribs were really good and cooked thoroughly. The chicken fingers (which I wanted most) had a weird after taste to them. This pissed me off because I even ordered a sweet & sour chicken & they were the same chicken fingers just with the pink sauce too. The crab Rangoons (ordered a side of them) were good but mainly cream cheese not much imitation crab meat. I ordered an order of scallion pancakes before I ordered anything else, because that's all my kid eats, and of course they're not in the bag.I will say, compared to most restaurants, the woman who answered the phone was extremely nice.

Service was unexpectedly good. Food was bland, flavorless. I took a gamble on this place and lost unfortunately. I ordered my usual vegetable egg foo young and there was only onions in it-no peppers, carrots, or broccoli, just an abundance of white onions. The gravy was ok. I was charged for white rice that usually comes with it. So... not the greatest. I'm still in need of s good hood Chinese spot in this area though..

3.5 not bad I like the deep soy sauce darkness of the pork fried rice but the pork and ham which i added were tough and dried out albeit plentiful the bean sprouts added flavor. The eggroll was kind of roundish and huge parts of the filling seemed to be carbonized how or why no clue and not my favorite the other two things I ordered were good enough which were lobster sauce and wonton soup called pork strip soup hear. It's definitely ghetto Chinese se takeout but it does the job. Btw the flavor on the fried rice was good just the toughness of the meats threw me off. Pretty good value too. Bye.

Got a sweet and sour chicken lunch special with boneless spareribs. The chicken fingers were delicious, soft, light and fluffy inside a lightly crisp shell. The spare ribs were just the way I like them, not too fatty. The rice was underwhelming but I'd still come back here for the spare ribs alone.

This use to be my favorite Chinese spot, but not anymore. The boneless spareribs were over cooked and dry. The rice tasted as if it were old. Very disappointed!

Best Hood Chinese spot in Boston been eating here for many many years. Food so good my family from New York tells me to take to them when I go. Me and the family usually get the lg house special fried rice, chicken wings,Crab Rangoons,Lo MeinBoneless Spare Ribs,and Egg Roll always good quality made to order and good prices and portions always have left over! I eat here like 1-3 a week never had issue with food had issue once with the credit card machine that's probably only complaint

This was the best Chinese food I've had in Boston in the 11 years I've lived here! I highly recommend this place above all other Chinese take-out spots. Great quality food! Apparently this place is a locals hotspot, open super late. The sesame chicken was divine and the wonton soup hit the spot. Thank you, Lucky Boston! A+

Might be the best Chinese takeout in Boston hands down don't let the people that might be outside deter you from coming here anything you want to eat will be delicious here amazing food amazing people working I've been a customer for 20 years and I have never had any problems with the food at all

Lucky does it for me everytime, they're a staple Chinese food restaurant. The food quality stays the same. You can always count on good food, large quantity and quick service. Love their brown duck sauce!
