The service here is amazing, the food delicious. We love it here! It has changed a little over the last year but the quality remains! Our go to place in the North End! Thank you Mario & team for serving us so well!

Restaurant Cancelled Reservation Tonight with No Notice - no staff in kitchen! We were very disappointed to walk into restaurant to find out that they closed kitchen due to staffing issues with no notice to us and could not seat us for our reservation. Very busy Saturday night and It was I possible to get a new reservation. We were very disappointed that Lo Conte never called us in advance to notify us. Too many other better places to eat in North End and will never be back.

I came here with my friend for dinner on a Thursday night. I had the meatball appetizer and the sautéed broccoli. The meatballs were described on the menu as being served with garlic crostini, and while they did have a breadcrumb topping, they were not served with crostini (other than the complementary table bread, which is not the same). The meatballs themselves were good, but very salty. The broccoli was overcooked and seemed steamed rather than sautéed.Our waiter was nice, but this was certainly not my favorite meal in the North End. I would not come back.

Oh man do I really regret coming here. I wanted to give a new Italian place a shot since I always go to my favorite restaurant in the north end. From start to end, the experience here was subpar. Our meatball appetizer arrived cold. We weren't served bread and our water wasn't refilled frequently, so we had to constantly remind our waiter. We finally got bread once the entrées arrived. My risotto didn't have much flavor and the pasta wasn't anything special. We weren't even offered the dessert menu. Our waiter seemed to be annoyed with us for asking for the bare minimum attention. We left regretting coming here and suggest you don't either.

This place has availability for a reason. Do not come here even if you are desperate to eat. Very high prices for the quantity and low quality food that they serve. The bread they give you to start is cold and not fresh. We tried the Chicken Piccata, and the chicken was rubbery and soggy. The sauce was also very bitter. The ravioli was ok but very small portion. Everyone who ordered linguini was given penne, and we were not informed until we asked that they had run out of linguini. This place is a trap that feeds on desperate tourists who can't get in elsewhere. Do not eat here.

I have always enjoyed this restaurant! I love how it is on Salem street, just one street over fromHanover! This street is more quiet and the food quality is just as good! I love the sauce at Lo Conte's. This was my first time getting the bolognese and I really enjoyed it. The food is delicious, the sauce is good and the environment is nice and peaceful! Delicious food in a cute setting right in downtown North End!

We were excited to eat there yesterday in North End during the festival but it was disappointing The pasta was not homemade we had special primavera and I could make it better at home Meatballs were good. Salad nothing special.

Terrible food. Pasta came in a plate of water. Would never go again. One of the standout worst meals of my life ever

Originally heading to a different restaurant that was not open for lunch, we stopped at Lo Conte's. Chef Mike and staff treated us like family. The bread was amazing. The meatballs were the best I have ever had and the homemade linguini was fantastic.

Way more than 5 stars!!! Old school classic Italian ambiance! The lobster ravioli with shrimp was unbelievable! And the calamari was delicious! We were the first customers for lunch and it was an amazing experience! Very friendly and personal service from the chef and staff!
