The location is interesting, the parking seems limited. But usually when it's like that you know the place is good. The restaurant is very homey, has a traditional feel. You could tell by the furniture, the food was going to be flavorful (if you know you know).I got the warm platter, my only criticism is there was WAY tooooooo much yogurt. It make a lot of my items soggy, and over powered the flavor of each individual dish. They were drenched in it. My pals got the liver- she said it was delicious, well seasoned, tender. My other pal got the lamb, it was MMM MM MM. Clearly this restaurant can cook the heck out of some meat. Another interesting thing is it's called a bar and grille, but of course they don't serve drinks a bar would. That is a bit confusing. But i figured as much. Still- it was very good. The server was prompt. I would recommend.

We decided to give Lavash Bar and Grill a try yesterday. Parking was not a problem and there is open lot to park in. We were greeted by a man who seated us and got us the menu. But that was it , between that time and time we left we did not hear single word from the servers who we realized didn't speak English or took our order nor from the gentleman apart from taking our order or asking how food was or nothing. CS was very very lacking Another thing for lack of a star is we been to lots n lots of turkish and middle eatern place and most of them have their own signature hot suaces but this place uses a bottled louisiana tabasco sauce. I mean really ... Cmon on man.The bread also was pretty much a ready pita bread warmed and sliced. Most places bake their own bread so that was a bummerThe food was good and it was on par with other Turkish place so def no complains there. We got Shepard's salad, cold mezee platter, Chicken Adana kebab plate, Turkish tea, Turkish coffee , Kunefe and falafels.Chicken Adana were specially good with seasoning compared to other items where seasoning was lacking a bit. Chicken was moist and soft and had nice spices in it. Rice were cooked perfectly and those were very nice They had wine i guess but we were never given menu for it so unfortunately we didn't know they had and i suppose they lost out on that revenue.Overall if you live in the area it is a good place but customer service needs to be picked up and def needs an authentic house hot sauce and not Louisiana tabasco sauce. I am not sure this would for us be a visit again place unfortunately.

Came here on a Sunday evening around 6:30 and were seated immediately. The service was prompt and attentive, however there were some minor inconveniences like not putting out napkins or silverware at any of the tables. That was all remedied with a quick ask of the server. Those minor nuisances aside, the food here was incredible! We split the baba ganoush which was incredibly flavorful and the bread was great. I got the chicken adana kebab which came with a light salad and a heaping portion of rice all of which tasted great and left me satisfied. Definitely recommend trying this place if you're looking for Turkish/Mediterranean food!

Cute restaurant hidden behind Whole Foods near alewife! My friend and I stopped in for lunch and had a good time here. I got the Turkish coffee, and I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a tiny cup with strong but delicious coffee and a small piece of dessert! We talked to the server for recommendations, and we ordered a meze plate and a salad to share. It was plenty of food, surprisingly. The salad was alright, but a little overpriced for what it was. The sampler was a great way to try a variety of items, especially for being the two of us it was a great selection. The food came out quick and hot. I really enjoyed the artichoke pancake (I think it was artichoke) and all of the sauces it came with. Overall, the restaurant is nice and has a great selection of food!

Was recommended this spot from a friend because she saw videos from IG. I have to say food was decent and definitely not a common cuisine in Boston. Passed by this rotary often but never noticed this spot. First impression is that this spot is BUSY and is compact with tables inches from each other. Not the spot for a quiet dinner but perfect for a spot for socializing. Parking was a little difficult as there are mostly reserved spots we couldn't find any other spots so we parked there (seems like that's what others do too) I would recommend getting their sampler plates to try out a bit of everything.

Came for brunch prix fixe menu $35/pp. Great variety of food around 12 dishes mostly vegetarian friendly. Some dishes include: eggs, cheese, toast, jam, butter, bread, fresh veggies and comes with a teapot. Ambiance: beautiful wood design. Didn't get to see the Turkish coffee being made. Family friendlyService: good service and accommodating Parking: only a few spots available upfront

The food was okay. It came with one side salad, unlike in other pictures where there is another carrot salad. And the dI went there on my own, hoping to enjoy a quiet moment, but was seated to the bar area. The service was okay.I don't think I necessarily would like to come dine in again, although I might order online.

Hidden Gem! Delicious Turkish food, great service, and big portions for good price. Highly recommend the Beyti (wrapped lamb Adana), Pide (flat bread), Lavaash salad, and lentil soup. Loved the Kunufe dessert with Turkish ice cream. Indoor seating was homely and quiet. Food was very fresh - Lavaash is great restaurant that everyone should try !

If you're looking for good food that will fuel you, go to Lavash. Lavash has the best food around. Their chef, Ozan, was even featured in the Boston Globe for his wonderful traditional Turkish cooking. The owner, Mesut, is very kind and makes a great sand coffee. The coolest part about the restaurant is that they make traditional Turkish sand coffee. It is quite literally coffee heated up/made over a massive bowl of sand. I believe everyone should try this when they visit Lavash. You can even see it be made yourself! They keep it in the dining room. Not only is it cool to watch, but it's delicious too. We got the Bean Salad and Hummus with Pita to start. We loved the bean salad and this is some of the creamiest hummus. Lavash has the juiciest chicken. So if you're in the mood for good chicken, come here. The Chicken Adana is a must order. Along with the chicken, you must get the Lamb Shish. Soooo tender. The rice is very moist and the side of veggies are so fresh! The walk from Lavash to Alewife station is a little over five minutes. It's very easy to get to via public transportation. They also have parking if you decide to drive over. They also have outdoor and indoor seating. I definitely recommend stopping in for a unique dining experience, and really, really damn good food.

Impossible to enter restaurant, including the sunny patio outside in a wheelchair. High steps in both back and front, with no other ramp available.Very disappointing.
