"Great option for friends gathering and birthday parties- love the tenderness and flavor of the wings- my absolute favorite was the cheese oneWill definitely order again when I'm in Boston"

My favorite would have to be their pork tofu soup with pork belly combo. The pork belly is juicy and crispy at the same time and the portion is a decent size. The tofu soup is delicious and a must have during Boston's cold winters. Another favorite would have to be the hotstone bulgogi noodle soup - super rich with flavor and a comfort food to me. Their service is always great and everyone is very nice. This is a great place if you're looking for yummy korean food!"
"We got takeout from there and the food was bomb. The Toki Tochos and the wings were so amazing and literally everything we got from there was so good. Highly recommend."
"Had been to Royal once before back in 2018. Sadly it was a one star wonder and the entire experience was disappointing & lackluster at best. However now...I stand corrected and thus rewarding them with the five stars they so richly deserve. A visit to their IG page is what drew me in to give Royal another chance. That & of course the endless persuasion from my girlfriend who loves a nice Hot Pot place & IG worthy food content. I can confidently say that Royal delivered in abundance, quality food with exceptional service in an atmosphere best described as aesthetically pleasing. The special added treat for us was... their also wide selection of marinated meats for Korean bbq!For their menu, they offer a variety of options along with some very diversely put together Hot Pot & BBQ combinations for you to experience the best of both worlds. Highly recommended & extremely reasonably priced for the sheer amount of food provided. Pick your broth, choose your meats and simply enjoy & have a wonderful time. If not those options, they also have an array of sushi options and entrees for you to choose from. Thank you Royal for the wonderful experience. We will most certainly be back. #redemption #redeemed Thank you Royal"
"I've eaten here again several times and decided my favorite sushi roll is the Paradise Maki, yum!"
"Always quality and tasty Korean food every time I come. They recently changed management so they have an amazing deal for jajangmyun and jambong for half off! Both noodle dishes are so delicious! The noodles are perfectly cooked and chewy. The portion is generous, the flavor and sauce/broth is all on point. I've also tried the tofu soup, tangsuyook beef and ganpoong shrimp. The ganpoong is tangy, sweet and a little spicy. So good! Portions are large and definitely shareable. All highly recommend! The only downside is the location. It's hard to find parking in Union Square."
"Seoul Jangteo is the perfect Korean comfort food spot in Allston. Allston is like Boston's little Koreatown! My go to's to get from here are: seafood jjambong noodle soup, tofu stew, and tangsuyuk (fried pork with sweet and sour sauce). The jjajangmyeon is also pretty good from here. Last night, we ordered the seafood scallion pancake, a small spicy tangsuyook, seafood jampong (D7) with extra veggies & seafood, & stone pot pork with rice. Very generous portions, in my opinion. The prices may look a bit steep but it's because most of the dishes are meant to be shared family style. Seafood kimchi pancake was alright, it wasn't crispy and kind of mushy... probably wouldn't get that again from here. The tangsuyook was good! They definitely do make one of the crispiest tangsuyooks around. The stone pot pork was yummy and the jampong was amazing as always. Lots of shrimp, calamari, & noodles. I can never finish this dish because the portion size is huge haha. Service depends on the day... some days they are super attentive and get your in order within a few minutes of sitting down or you may have to wave for them to come take your order. Food tends to come out within a reasonable time though. One of my favorite spots in Allston to go to for Korean comfort food. I wish they were open for late nights or even until 11pm."
"SOJUba is a nice place to go for a chill night out with friends! It's got a nice ambience here, that many people have noted, & fun drinks, LOTS of soju. If you're looking for some delicious Korean food in Boston, this is not the place to go. It's very much so just Korean bar food, mid at best & oftentimes, the food is not served to you hot, usually warm-ish cold. Do not have high expectations if you order any food from here. To be honest, just stick to the soju and you'll have a blast. Definitely recommend this place for big parties or even just a small group that's not looking to go out to the club. It's a lot more chill and a comfortable setting to have some drinks. They close pretty late, 2AM most days except Monday and Tuesday, which they close at 1AM."
"On a weekday lunch a coworker and I decided to try out Haju Kitchen, being one of the few Korean restaurants in the immediate area. Although the establishment was mostly full, I managed to snag the last table. I ordered for myself the seafood soft tofu stew. For the table I ordered the fried chicken w/spicy soy garlic sauce & scallion. The seafood tofu stew's broth was far too one-dimensional. It tasted only like basic stock and gochujaru. There were no aromatics, like garlic or additional anchovy stock. 2*Additionally, the establishment only served one banchan - fish cake. Not even basic kimchi or bean sprouts were served. 1*The fried chicken with spicy soy garlic sauce & scallion at least seemed passable. It wasn't spicy, but at least had decent amounts of scallion. 3*Overall, the experience seemed mediocre at best. I doubt I'll return."
"I came here yesterday with a friend and it was nice to taste some familiar flavors! We ordered a small (which is a generous term as it's actually quite a lot of chicken) soy garlic and a small Gangnam Style...because I couldn't resist the name It's great that the chicken comes fresh to order. Note that rice is an extra. They also have waffle fries (really well seasoned), sweet potato fries, some other sides, and drinks on a separate menu to the left of the register. The Gangnam Style chicken (level 1 of 4 on their spicy scale, which is less than I would normally do) was delicious. Seasoning on point, with little jalapeño rings on top. The soy garlic was also nice and a familiar flavor from when I lived in South Korea. I'll definitely be back here!"
"Absolutely solid korean. The banchan was on point - very very good kimchi, namul and radish. The steamed mandus are delicious. The ganjang KFC was too sweet for my liking but cooked perfectly. The spicy pork bulgogi was amazing and the portion was huge. My dining companion had stone pot bibim bap. It was served nice and hot so it crisped up the rice as he stirred it which is his ideal. He said a lot of places dont heat the stone pot hot enough. Theres a good amount of seating... its not the most comfortable but its still fine. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended."

Finally got to eat in person and wow, it's DELICIOUS. We always get bone in chicken wings and they never disappoint. I have never gotten a dry wing from this place. The food is always made to order, chicken is always perfectly juicy and tender, and the flavors are chef's kiss. Their non chicken dishes are also super delicious -- you can't go wrong with your order! They also have gloves, plates, and napkins ready, which makes sharing super clean and convenient. I highly recommend coming to this location if you're looking for Korean fried chicken. The Kenmore location is definitely better than the Allston and Chinatown locations.

Dining method: counter-serve at the Boston Public MarketItem(s) ordered: Veggie bowlSpeed: Bowl was made immediately--great serviceValue: Pricing is typical for the area, large portions though! The Review: I was on the hunt for a safe-yet-delicious gluten-free option at the Boston Public Market, when I came upon Perillas. Although the only gluten-free option on the menu, they had the Veggie Bowl, and it was awesome. It was loaded with rice and veggies. My favorite things had to be the spicy garlic cucumbers and the Yum-Yum aioli. The portion size was substantial, and the dish was so flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised. What really drew me in was how spotless the place looked. They had signage for proper prep station cleaning, and the server was very knowledgeable on what contained gluten, so I felt very safe. Thank you, Perillas!

The name on the store front isn't Kaju Tofu House, but perhaps there was just a name change. For the quality of Korean takeout I've had, this one wasn't terrible. There was a variety of veggies included, and generous portions. However, most of the veggies were still very much lacking in flavor. The mushroom was definitely the best, as it was the only thing seasoned (sweet and salty). Everything else was bland, blanched veggies. The bibim sauce can only do so much. This one is also spicier than typical bibimbap sauces, which often lean more sweet. You could even see some chili seeds in the sauce. For $15 including tax, it's not terrible. I will say the Bibim Box food truck that comes to BU on Tuesdays or Wednesdays is better in terms of taste, but smaller portion (and $1 more). I'd come back to try their other vegan options, as they do have things labeled vegetarian on the menu. Server was nice and food was ready very quickly. Restaurant was pretty empty on a Wednesday night.

Pretty good! Ordered pickup through UberEats and got the BOGO boneless chicken and the bulgogi burritos. The chicken was pretty good, just wish they put more sauce on it, and we air fried the fries when we got back to warm them up and the bits of sauce turned into an A+ glaze . The burritos were also pretty good, but the beef was a little sweet/had some strange dry hard bits I wasn't a huge fan of. Still love all the other fillings though, and recommend throwing it on a pan to get the tortilla hot and crispy!

The restaurant is beautiful with plenty of off-street parking. The service is good with the staff stopping by frequently to check on our table. The sauce bar has a huge selection and was kept clean. The menu is extensive and we decided to do the Korean BBQ. The combo didn't have options we would have wanted. The Banchan is pretty simple compared to Korean restaurants. The Korean fried chicken reminds me of a good Chinese crispy chicken wing with some sauce. The bulgogi and spicy marinated pork belly were my favorites. This place is a little pricey but is good to celebrate any occasion. Beautiful restaurant with solid food and great service.

Very clean establishment. Friendly and quick service. I ordered edamame and the 5 veggie maki which hit the spot perfect for a nice light lunch. My mom ordered the bolgogi bento box and said it was pretty good- she was hoping it would be spicier, but was satisfied. Hubby ordered a shrimp sushi (not sure what it was called) and he was raving about the homemade wasabi as his eyes were watering. He enjoyed his fried gyoza and said it tasted healthy- not greasy at all. The server was super kind and extremely attentive, checking on us multiple times. Prices were extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

I ordered the pork Tangsuyook (sweet and sour pork) for delivery. The order arrived fast and the pork was still very warm and crispy upon arrival. While I enjoyed the sweet and sour sauce, the pork batter needed some seasoning. It was pretty bland on its own but thankfully the sauce is a good sweet and sour sauce that is flavorful without being overly sweet and syrupy.

We came here as a family and it was my son's first Korean food experience as a 2.5-year old. We were taken by surprise at hire friendly everybody was. The food was well prepared - not luxurious or expensive but just solid, hearty Korean food. No frills. It was reasonably priced and we could tell the authenticity of the place by the fellow diners, many of whom were Koreans. Thank you for a great meal!
Visit Restaurant Page"I used to come here all the time when I lived in Arlington and I do NOT remember disliking the food. But here we are in 2018 and things have gone downhill.I came during the week so it was pretty empty. Service was terrible which was pretty interesting because NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE. The waitress misheard us on drink orders and seemed annoyed about it... Also, I ordered shrimp tempura and received a shrimp tempura maki roll? I was pretty frustrated by that point so we just ate it.Spicy Tuna- SPICY. SO SPICY. Good.Spicy Salmon- Fishy. Haven't had old fish in a LONG time. No one liked this (or wanted to eat it).Eel Avo- Good.Hamachi roll- Okay, way too much riceShrimp tempura maki- Tasteless except the shrimp. I would never order this again (and I didn't mean to this time). The ratio of fish to rice is so off. I felt like I ate a huge bowl of rice after leaving Mr. Sushi. They should re name it Mr. Rice.Sake was good."
"Service - 9/10I came in around peak dinner time on the weekend and was told it would be a 30-45 minute wait. I was craving gopchang so I said, sure why not I'll wait it out. To my surprise, at least 3 tables all got up around the same time and we were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. The service was good and they took the order quite quickly. They cook the intestines for you, and the person asked us how we wanted it cooked (we wanted it well done) and did a great job serving it. Food - 9/10We ordered 1 portion of the small intestines, the Pork Belly Kimchi Stew, and the Seafood Pancakes.Seafood Pancakes:They weren't that cut up, so I thought I'd have a hard time tearing them apart, but they were easy to separate and distribute amongst our table. They were decently sized, and quite light and not oily. Pork Belly Kimchi Stew:Unlike other kimchi stews, this one leaned more on the sour side of kimchi. I could taste the sourness of the kimchi in the stew from the small portion I had. It was still pretty good, but I didn't expect it to be that sour.Small Intestines:What I ordered and was craving. We had 1 portion, but it was just enough to fill me and the table up. It was buttery and had good flavor, and the crispiness was perfect. Not that oily and tasted great.Ambiance - 8/10May just be me but the tables are a bit low to the ground, so if you have problems with your knees it may be uncomfortable at first. The place is also very dim, but still bright enough to see people."
"This is hands down one of the best places for Korean BBQ in the Boston area. The service, food, and atmosphere are all exceptional. We visited on a weekday evening, and although it was pretty crowded, we were seated within a reasonable time. Our waiter was very helpful, explaining the menu options and even recommending some dishes to try.The Korean BBQ was fantastic. The staff started cooking the meat for us, but we took over since we're used to doing it ourselves. They still kept an eye on the grill to ensure nothing was overcooked. The meat was tender, juicy, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauces. We also tried the seafood pancake, kimchi stew, and cold noodles. I don't usually enjoy cold noodle broth, but this one was particularly good. The service was top-notch. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff surprised us with a complimentary Soju. Our waiter even helped us make Somaek.Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The dishes can get a bit pricey if you're a big eater, but it's definitely worth it."
"A new bb.q chicken opened up near Boylston station right on Emerson college campus. There isn't much street parking except a few spots, but they're typically taken. You order and sit down where ever to dine. It's more like a grab and go ordeal at this location rather than a sit down restaurant like the one in Allston. The cashiers were super helpful and choosing what to order. We decided on two small wings and the rice cakes +cheese. The rice cakes+cheese was so good!! It was flavorful, a little bit spicy and paired well with the cheese. The cheeseling wing was WAYYY too salty (don't get). We asked the cashier about it and they willingly exchanged it for a different flavor. The chef in the back delivered it to our table and told us that their corporation changed the recipe and he thought it was super salty too. Service was amazing and helpful. Plenty of seating and not too busy during dinner time. They do not offer tap water so bring your own water or buy bottled water there."
"bb.q Chicken in Allston was one of the chain's first locations in Boston/MA! Since then, they've opened & continue to open more locations. This location is opened the latest daily, until 2am, with take out last call being 10pm. Quality and taste of chicken is definitely the best here tbh. My go-to is the honey garlic! Always super crispy somehow with all the sauce. Service is quick & easy with menu scannable via QR code. A must try if you haven't yet... highly recommend the honey garlic. My favorite flavor that they offer ;))"
"I'm so glad this place exists! It brings authentic Korean food to Fenway. The dining room is subterranean but clean and cozy. We came with a few friends and shared a scallion pancake. Collectively we tried their soft tofu soup, and dupbap (stone pot sizzling rice bibimbap), and Galbi combo. Everything tasted amazing!! The service was friendly and efficient."
"Pretty good sushi and impressive delivery packaging. They also have great combo deals for delivery - I really enjoyed the 3 roll combo (6 pieces each) and a miso soup, all for less than $20!Great prices and good sushi - I will be ordering from Yoshi's again :)"
"There are several Thai options in Marlborough and this one squeaks by as the best. Tried quite a lot. Favorites are spicy basil rice, red curry, whatever, while not looking at the menu, they call their version of drunken/spicy noodles. Ramen is just okay. Definitely works if you're craving and someone with you wants Thai but there ate better options nearby. Overall, excellent Thai, fully recommend."
"Anyone rating this less than 5 stars has no idea what their talking about. This place is SO good and they give you so much food for such good prices. I love this spot. It's definitely more of a casual restaurant but a great spot for a date night. Everyone is so nice! I don't understand the rating at all."
"Koreana is a great place to come for KBBQ! In the Boston area, though I would love for there to be more options for KBBQ/AYCE options, I am appreciative that Koreana is around!I love getting the tofu stew soup, tteokboki, japchae, beef & pork spicy bulgogi meats to grill. They are very generous with the banchans and servers are incredibly kind and helpful."
"I have been on a Korean cold noodle kick. In a heat wave, nothing hits the spot like a big bowl of noodles with chunks of ice floating in the broth. (I should learn how to make this at home.)After scouring Yelp for a place in Boston that serves these cold noodles, I landed on Seoul Soulongtang in Brighton. Be sure to come around 6 even on weekdays or be prepared for a bit of a wait - we came a little after six and nabbed the last table for two; after we finished, we opened the door to find a long line outside. The menu features a bunch of other soups and dishes but I only had eyes for the last page of cold noodles. Broth: light, fragrant, condiments of salt and yellow mustard and vinegar provided. Noodles: nice and springy, they provide a pair of scissors to snip snip into more manageable bites.Standard garnishes of pickled radish, green onions, thinly sliced beef and cucumber, and half a hardboiled egg. Banchan: good selection and they give free refills. They also offer combo meals of noodles + galbi, which may be a good option for two people who aren't super hungry. It gets a little loud inside with people talking and someone manning the massive frying counter but nothing too bad. The service was not exactly friendly but very efficient and our food came out quickly.PARKING: If you do decide to chance the wait-time and come after 6, there's free parking in the lot on Comm Ave across the street, as well as a big parking lot on Harvard Ave behind Cafe Brazil Bakery."
"Coreanos is yummy! Definitely gotten better over the years, in my opinion. I love getting the chicken poppers with either rice or fries & the kimchi fried rice with bulgogi. Great place to come to get take out; the food is always piping hot and has great flavor."
"7.27.2022 No uni of any kind which is super disappointing for meOther food was average sushi. What's up very quickly and the waiter was nice I wish my water was refilled properly and on time but I didn't really need any extra water so I did not ask. Despite that if they poured more water I would have drank itThe pork belly was salty so I had to eat it with my spicy tuna sushi. I would not be able to eat it on his own but thanks goodness there was riceThe sushi sampler was OK it wasn't the most extra ordinary but it was tolerable."
"Another great place to escape from the work grind and grab some good eatin' on Moody if you're craving sushi and/or Korean. The front of the restaurant was just a plane Jane looking regular restaurant but as soon as you step in, it was pretty nice, roomy, and clean. My coworker had the beef bimpibap lunch special and I had the spicy maki lunch special. The sushi here was great--sushi rice was very moist and the spicy tuna was on point. No complaints. The bimbibap came out sizzzzzzling which made the meal so inviting. With the egg on top as well. My sushi maki just had no trade value. It was a tootsie roll going against the butterfinger bar on Halloween. I'll have to try the bimbibap next time! Restaurant had plenty of space to host their guest. Of course on Moody, bring your parallel parking chops with you or park in the city parking lots off streets.Cheers"
"Happened on this place as it was close to our hotel and good reviews. And we were headed back home. What can I say? They have so many choices - all via the walls covered with choices.Mom and pop with lots of foot traffic getting their morning start. We had a breakfast sandwich and avocado toast and 2 coffees. Quick and cheap.Try them out."
"Such a great spot! There are a bunch of Korean options in this neighborhood, be we decided on this one because all the dishes we saw through the window looked amazing. The menu isn't crazy extensive, but you can tell they put care into each of their dishes. The staff was amazing and didn't rush us out, even though we were the last ones there. It's a pretty casual spot and it seemed like it was mainly students there, but don't be fooled, the food is still excellent. My friend and I ordered the Bibimbap, Seoul Topokki, and Kimchi Stew, all of which were delicious. The Bibimbap had just the right flavor and the rice was nice and crispy (go for the hot stone version)! The Topokki was spicy, but not overwhelmingly so. I loved the fish cakes in there. The Kimchi Stew had tons of fun surprises in there, including glass noodles and fish cakes. I can't wait to come back to this place and try some more menu items!"
"I absolutely LOVE this place! You must come here. It is located in Allston-Brighton near the CVS. They work like machines in the back truly! It's quite incredible. A very small holes in the wall place with BIG flavors! They're super attentive Korean place that consistently stays busy! It's a must! I got the personal bowl that includes rice, bone, potatoe and tofu! I added veggies and it comes with sides of rice, macaroni, kimchi and so much more!"
"Not sure why the reviews aren't particularly good. This place has an insane lunch special! I ordered the Yookgaejang, which was a spicy beef soup dish, for just $12. It was a pretty big portion, so I had leftovers. Not to mention, it came with a bunch of banchan. I wouldn't say this was the best Korean I've had, but it certainly did the trick, especially at that pricepoint. This isn't an especially upscale place, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for date night or anything, but it's perfect for a casual meal with friends or even a quick solo lunch. The service was solid, no complaints from me! I would happily return."
"What a great spot! I've been to Kaju Tofu House twice and it was super busy both times. You had to put your name on the list, but the waitress was kind enough to come out with menus so we could start perusing. The restaurant was very casual and definitely gave a college feel.I've tried a few different dishes, but you really have to go with one of the tofu soups for the real deal. However, if you're looking for tteokbokki, I'd go to Seoul Topokki instead. Overall, I was happy with both dining experiences here!"
"I enjoyed the food and thought the prices were very reasonable. I was thrown off that my server didn't speak Korean though because it's my first Korean restaurant where I've experienced that lol but the cook is Korean. They had a lot of choose from and most of my traditional favorites. I would recommend if you're looking for a filling and delicious meal. It's also quiet if you need a break from the noise."
"*NOTE* There's a small parking lot on your right when you pass this restaurant!Came here on a Saturday evening for dinner. This place is fairly small establishment but has a huge menu selection (cuisine from Japan, Thailand and Korea!).I got the beef Pad See You and it was absolutely tasty especially for the price! Many restaurants I've been to charge $2+ for what I got so I was extremely impressed for the high quality and taste of the meal.Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal and our waitress was quick and prompt with drink refills. This place can easily be passed by if you're not looking for it but if you want some high quality Asian cuisine you can't go wrong with this place if you're in the area!"
"As what I believe is the only AYCE KBBQ spot in Boston proper, I thought this spot was pretty solid. Right next to Northeastern and close to Suffolk/Wentworth, the vibe felt very young and modern. Ventilation was also a but questionable, but hopefully they'll smooth that out as I know it's a pretty new spot. We had a larger party and called ahead for our reservation so we got one of the rooms in the back. I honestly think this spot was only 4 stars due to how we had our own room - I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much if we were in the main area. Service was very solid. They were super attentive and came in at appropriate points for additional orders, water refills, and just delivering food in general as well as replacing grills. The meat was decent quality, nothing amazing, but for AYCE it was good. The sides were also nice - I enjoyed the pancakes and steamed egg soup. There was also ice cream at the end that they serve in small cups. Overall, we had a great experience and wouldn't mind coming back again. The food, service, and ambiance were very solid. Thanks, Omi!"
"Kimchipapi Kitchen may have the best Korean corn dogs in the city of Boston, but by no means do they have the best corn dogs. I recently ordered a corn dog with half hot dog & half mozzarella, and it was just all right. Definitely need the extra condiments, ketchup and mustard for me. Their poke bowls are not bad either, just on the smaller size in regard to portions. Wish they were a hit more generous with the toppings and protein. Corn dogs and food is about a 10-15 min wait after ordering. Parking can be found pretty easily, especially during the day on a weekday. Lots of 2 hr meter parking spots available right outside."
