"FIRST time around!Food/Drink: Entrees were amazing, everything tasted fantastic. The flavors and the smells were intoxicating! I had the Curry Goat, glass of wine, basmati rice, garlic naan, and Samosas.Bread and Apps: The garlic naan mmmm mmmm!Dinning Area: Pretty Small, and cramped. A little drafty.Prices: Expensive. Small appetizer, entree, bread, wine, and a side of rice. I got away for $73.Parking: Plenty of space, strip mall lot.Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and smaller in size.Atmosphere: During the weekday Dinner rush, pretty busy, but not unmanageable. I did not wait long.Staff/Attendants: Staff overall was Great, family owned and operated I presume. Extremely authentic, deep accent. Awesome experience.8/10"
"On our way to our friend's house from TD Garden, we stopped at this place for dinner as we were craving for some Indian food. They named this place as a dosa place so we had to try their dosas. Although most of the food in their menu looked to be from the north India. We ordered masala dosa and Mysore masala dosa. It looked amazing when it came out of the kitchen. Masala dosa was perfectly crispy. Mysore masala dosa has a nice look to it too. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't as great as what we expected. We have had dosa's from various places, but this one did not live up to our expectations. Sambar was too liquidated and chutneys lacked the flavor. I think the best bet would be to try North Indian cuisine at this place. Ambiance was good and service was top notch. Our waiter was so nice."

"Not a bad little market for the Quincy area. Quincy doesn't have that many Indian stores, and this one is more South/East Indian based from what I've gathered. Lots of spices, rices, frozen things, pickles, etc - perfect for this Indo-Caribbean girl who needs to stock up on paneer and masala. Prepared foods are yummy too! Biryanis are nice and spicy."
"Four stars by definition. Met my expectations overall but did not blow me away enough to earn the final fifth star. I had the Onion Pakora as an appetizer and the Gongura Chicken as a main. I also had the opportunity to have some of the Papadum. Though, asking if they had any was a bit tricky (I didn't know what it was called at the time), and it is not brought out by default. Papadum and the sauces were solid. The cracker was thin and had good flavor. These were a green herbal one and one that was sweeter and had a tiny bit of heat. The Onion Pakora was good. The onion was nicely fried and not overloaded on the breading, grease, or salt. A simple appetizer I loved munching on. Dipping in the sauces (the same ones as for the Papad) helped add some extra dimensions. However, a spicy sauce would have been very welcome here. These two would make this a three-star experience, but the Gongura Chicken elevated it to the fourth star. The chicken was cooked phenomenally! It was very soft and tender. I ordered it as medium spicy, and there was some noticeable heat which had me reaching for the water but not crying or gasping for air. The sauce was savory, tangy, and zesty, and I think it had a pleasant acidity too. How to tell something is great, it tastes good both hot and the next day being removed from the fridge!Rice was one of the options (the other being naan) as an addition to the chicken, and it was cooked very nicely. Always a good option combined with protein, especially a saucy protein! Portion sizes were very reasonable for the prices, too. I have no complaints about the service; it was speedy and attentive. However, I wish sides and extras were spelled out on the menu. Seeing how challenging it was to describe Papadum, it would have made it more accessible if it had been written somewhere."
"Super delicious and wide variety of Punjabi food! They have chicken, lamb, vegetarian, and seafood dishes and they are all amazing and super unique! If you are new to Indian food, you must try Malai Kofta and Butter Chicken! Super friendly and not spicy options! Also I recommend mango lassi which is a mango yogurt drink but if you are lactose intol this is dangerousss!! Butter Chicken - 8/10 Tomato based chicken curry and the chicken was super moist and juicy! I love the tomato base but a little too tomato-y and I wished it was more buttery Lamb Korma - 10/10 Our favorite !! The lamb was so tender and soft and melts in your mouth! Flavor of the curry was super flavorful! Malai Kofta - 10/10 This is vegetarian and the "meatballs" we're pact with flavor and I can't even tell it wasn't meat! Definitely makes you feel good and healthy! Garlic bread - 9/10 I love the finely minced garlic and butter but I wished the bread was a littleeeee bit thicker Tandoori mixed grill plate - 5/10Everything was super toasty but the chicken was so dry and big piece too! They had lamb and a piece of shrimp in there but overall not worth it I would pass on this Also they gave us a free thing of pulao rice!!! Amazing service and wide variety of options for all dietary restrictions! Overall, everything was delicious and I have absolutely no complaints ! :)"
"Refreshingly unconventional and deeply personal cooking finds a home here in Watertown just down the block from where I live. I have only sampled a small bit of the menu so far but I am absolutely delighted (and relieved) that such an awesome and unique spot is so close. Everything was delicious - I'll be doing a deep dive on this place again soon."
"My coworker recommended this restaurant as it had good reviews and was conveniently located to meet up with another coworker from our company. It's located next to a child care school in a weird intersection on Bow St in Somerville. There's paid street parking around the area but may be difficult to find especially during lunch and dinner rushes. My group and I ordered steamed Chicken Mo Mo and the Beef Chilli to share. The chicken mo mo was soooo good. Unliked Chinese XLB, there was a lot of spices and flavors in the mo mo. Delicious! The beef chilli was also really good but also incredibly spicy LOL. Tons of different spices marinated with the beef, bringing out a flavor blast in my mouth. I wanted to keep eating but the spiciness kept killing me. I ordered the lunch special Chicken Tikka Masala. It came out in a plastic take out container (all the other foods were like that too) and there was only a small portion of the tikka masala which threw me off. BUT the portion didn't matter as there was a lot of meat and the curry, omg. Very thick and sooo full of flavor. I've never had tikka masala that was this thick! Delicious! A hidden hole-in-the-wall gem that deserves a little more credit. The quality and the flavor profile of the foods were really good! Definitely would love to come back in the future."
"Hands down, some of the best Indian food we've had in the Boston area. How I wish this was closer to home!We were returning from New Hampshire and wanted to grab dinner on the way. Eggsmania came up in the search list and had great reviews. We easily placed our order online, probably one of their first ones of the evening since they open at 5 pm. It was a quick pick up and after an hour's drive home, the food was still hot. The surati gotalo had bits of chopped boiled egg in a tomato-onion base gravy (I'd guess). It was so good! Next, the chicken keema. It was cooked well, flavorful! Both of these came with a side of white bread, honestly, a great accompaniment if you cannot have the more traditional 'pav'. The best part about these dishes was the opportunity to try something new, rather than the same saag, tikka masala, makhani, etc. We also got the paneer volcano biryani which was tasty but I may not order it again. The other two, surati gotalo and chicken keema, are definitely on my 'order again' list. Their menu has many mouth-watering dishes so it's definitely going to be hard to narrow it down when we visit again! Also, one star for the friendly staff!"
"Spicy! Spicy! Indian restaurant! Finally! My bf and I decided to dine in on Sunday night since we were in town for the day. The restaurant is cozy with a few tables for small groups. They have a huge menu to choose from and some dishes already come hot and others you can request spicy. We decided on the shared bread basket because it came with onion naan, regular naan and a different puffy bread. All of which were super yummy! We finally decided on getting a biryani dish because we never do and picked lamb. We also got the lamb vindaloo and a chick pea dish. The service was amazing! It was a hot day and it was nice having our cups of water refilled constantly! The food came out nice and hot and they even had mini cute heat trays to keep our food nice and warm throughout our entire meal. The food was delicious! And we ordered most dishes spicy and they really were! We will definitely come back again!"
"We have been making our way through Worcester's eats via delivery because going out requires getting dressed, putting on shoes, getting transportation, etc. Ain't nobody got time for all of that nonsense. Any place that offers both pizza, fries, cheesy fries, AND some sort of ethnic cuisine is a valuable asset. Fantastic offers all of that shit and with a name like "fantastic", how can you go wrong? We ordered from here last night. We ordered a small pizza to allow us more room for other stuff, with two toppings: garlic and olives. We also ordered 2 samosas, baba ganooj, gobhi manchurian, and HAD to get the falafel after the menu said they have the best falafel of Worcester (competition is steep, I'm sure). Food came quicker than expected. The pizza is just ok. It's fine because it's bread, sauce, and cheese but I actually prefer domino's pizza. They also only give you two options: small and large. If you're ordering just for the pizza, I'd probably order elsewhere although the pizza game in Worcester isn't strong to begin with. The only thing is they have INDIAN PIZZAS. We didn't try this, but it is probably amazing. The cauliflower was delicious. The sauce is thick and very flavorful. They also throw in some peppers in there for the sake of variety. The falafel was incredibly crispy and crunchy. We ordered it in wrap form and the wrap was huge. The baba ganooj was also very flavorful, creamy, and smooth. The bread provided isn't quite adequate so either order more, use your own bread, or have some chips on hand to take care of the rest. We were actually too full to have the samosas so they were saved for the following day. Even as leftovers they were delicious. They are PHAT and stuffed with spiced potatoes, peas, and some other good flavored shit. This place is a good delivery/take out place but I don't think pizza is their strength."
"I've only had delivery from here, as when we moved to town it was during the height of Covid and the go-to was delivery. I've liked everything that I've ordered from them so far; vegetarian dishes, and meat, and their breads are also quite tasty. The serving size is generous and the flavors are great! I strongly suggest trying this place out, if you're in the [delivery] area!"

I could write pages about how great this restaurant is... but I'll synopsize my experience there. My partner and I are Indian food nuts. We've been to India 7 or 8 times. We've been to every Indian restaurant in Cambridge and Somerville. I cook almost only Indian food. I'm partial to South Indian cuisine, eg Tamil Nadu and Udupi. I had lunch with a friend here and opted for the buffet, even though buffets tend to be dried out or a bit old. BUT this buffet was stunning. The made-to-order masala dosa was just like I had in Tanjore, the gobi dish was the tastiest cauliflower I've ever had. The other dishes were amazing, and their paneer dishes were awesome. The naan was super fresh. Every dish was a winner! The service was friendly, the ambience was very nice. One of the nice things about dining in Waltham is that parking is easy and free.

Tried Nirvana for the first time with my boyfriend this evening! Sat outside but inside of restaurant was really pretty and seemed to have decent ambiance. Started off with a round of cocktails (I believe I ordered the masala chai punch) and they were only $13 a pop which is pretty reasonable for Cambridge. Since it was just us, we ordered the Royal dinner for two which is $60 and it included appetizer(s), naan+entrees, and two little desserts! Honestly one of the best bang for your buck meals I've found so far in Cambridge, we both left full and still had some leftovers to take home. Don't know the name of the two little tart looking things but they were yummy! The soup was very tumeric-y and flavorful and the meat somasoas were huge! This plus three entree mains, naan, and rice was more than enough to eat! This was a fun way to try a variety of dishes and getting an "introduction" to the restaurant. Most everything we had was absolutely delicious and flavorful, and food came out fast! The tandoori chicken was a little overcooked but other than that everything was pretty much perfect. Very much enjoyed my first dining experience here and will definitely be back!

Never expected as good as we got here! We had time to kill in an unfamiliar area. We knew that we could go to Moody St in Waltham for Indian food, there are several choices there, but we weren't sure we'd find parking nor if we could get back in time. Yelp steered us here, less than 5 minutes from our ultimate destination; ample parking. So with the stellar reviews, we figured it was worth a try!And it was good! I love dosas, hubs not so much, and I was excited to find a menu with dosas that also had the kind of dishes he prefers. We shared vegetable samosas as appetizer. He had his chana masala which he loved; it was served with a dish of white rice (probably basmati.). I've never seen chicken dosa, only vegetable or fruit ones, so I ordered it. I got a bowl of a delicious tomato-based sauce that had chunks of onion and tender chicken in it, and a huge rolled dosa. I wasn't sure quite how to tackle it, tbh! I tore off a few inches of the dosa and unrolled it, spooned in some of the sauce with a nice chunk of the chicken, eat and repeat, so so yummy! The chunks, no bones, were tender and flavorful; the sauce nicely spiced, tingly but not .If we're in this neighborhood again, I'd definitely return, and we definitely recommend it.

I visited Chennai Eats for a birthday dinner during their opening week and had a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and the overall atmosphere was great. We tried a variety of dishes: Chicken Dosa, Ghee Dosa, Kothu Parotta, Goat Biryani, Chicken Biryani, and Mango Lassi. The dosas, both chicken and ghee, were cooked to perfection--crispy and absolutely delicious. The Mango Lassi was refreshing. It was my first time trying Kothu Parotta, and I must say, it was a 10/10 for me--rich in flavor and perfectly spiced. On the other hand, while the meat in the Biryanis was tender and flavored, all together the two dishes didn't stand out as much.Overall, Chennai Eats impressed us with its warm hospitality and some standout dishes.

Samosa chaat was goodGarlic naan was crispy and fluffy at the same time. Good amount of garlicPaneer tikka masala came out nice and hot. Enjoyed this for dinner and lunch the next day
Visit Restaurant Page"I found Street Kitchen while searching Uber Eats for Indian restaurants in Central Massachusetts. The extensive menu includes Indo-Chinese offerings as well as pizza. I always welcome a departure from traditional recipes towards something more creative and exciting, so my favorite items on the Street Kitchen menu are the very non-traditional Indian and Indo-Chinese pizzas, including the saag chicken pizza, the manchurian chicken pizza, and the szechuan chicken pizza. The flavors are bold, as one would expect, and the portions are generous. The chicken tikka pasta is also very satisfying. I have been very happy with the delivery experience, but will definitely visit the restaurant to dine in as soon as the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us."
"Friendly people, great kebabs, convenient location! Hot Chix has been a place I've wanted to try for a while and finally got the chance. I ordered some pakoras (crispy, flavorful), shish kebab (well-seasoned, on the firm side), and naan (big and tasty), and enjoyed every bite.Their hours change a bit throughout the week so be sure to take a look before you order. Also, keep in mind that it's takeout - it's a narrow storefront with a deep kitchen so it really shines as a place to run in, grab your food and go."
"Stopped in for lunch and were very satisfied. Quick service and the best naan I've ever had!"
"Impeccable service! nothing like their other location. The real deal is the food. We tried Chana masala, masala dosa, bhel, Masoor coffee and masala chai. Everything was 5 stars except bhel, which was more like a 4 or 3.5.When food arrived you can tell it was just cooked to order. Batoora still has smoke coming out and dosa was crispy and Chana masala was one of most authentic in this region. I will definitely come back when I am crazing vegetarian food.Restaurant is clean, staff is always moving around, checking with customers and cleaning at the same time."
"Amazing dirty chai martini! This was my first time here since new ownership. The menu has a lot of diner items like before but with an Indian flair. My friend and I both ordered breakfast for dinner. I had the French toast with berries & and she had the waffle with 2 eggs. The French toast was delicious, I loved the extra spice (cardamom/cinnamon). Service was great and we were both very happy with our meals & cocktails.I will definitely come back and try their dinner items. The fried chicken we saw other people eating looked so good!!"
"Wow, I was stunned by the newspaper/magazines/media posted in front of the restaurant about all the Zagat surveys and media attention this place had received in the past. They really should try to advertise those attention more to attract more customers. But regardless, the restaurant already seems to be doing great without such additional advertisements. There are people waiting in line while we dined there. Also, there was literally a row full of pickups/deliveries waiting--I counted at least 12 orders waiting to be picked up at one point. The curries were good. Mango lasse was good as well. We will definitely be back."
"Taj isn't much to look at, but man is the food good. I've visited there twice in the last month or so and I've left stuffed and content, happily smelling of fenugreek and garlic. I can't wait to go back!"
"I got the shrimp curry (medium) and the bread, as well as mango lassi yogurt based drink and all were delicious. The owner was also quite pleasant and humorous, making the experience even better! Check them out, it's a nice spot (hint: they have a little bar too)."
"Look at the color on those curries!! Got a chance to stop at Rang Indian Bistro, a local restaurant in Boston and was absolutely blessed at amazing, quality food.I ordered one of my personal favorites, Lamb Vindaloo, and my coworker ordered the chicken curry. I was definitely sweating from the spice, but it was delicious, especially with their fresh naan. The bite of chicken curry was also quite yummy . The samosa appetizer was also really good. $10.95 for the Vindaloo and $9.95 for the Chicken Curry, esp for the quantity, is an absolute deal during lunch hours. 5/5"
"I've been to this place a few times and the food here is delicious. I ordered the Lahori chicken special pizza and it's soooooo good!!! The chicken is super tender and the ingredients all make sense together. I also had other things and forgot to take a pic but the veggie samosa and malai kofta was sooooo good! The staff was super nice and the service was great. I'll be returning for sure!"
"I tried Surya Indian Kitchen and found the food to be flavorful. If you're looking for a good butter chicken or chicken tikka masala they are a good spot to check out. They do not have any seating, so be prepared to take out. Overall, not the best Indian food I've had in the Boston area, but they do offer a fully halal menu and a fairly broad variety of options. I was a bit disappointed by the naan. It may be store bought? I'm not sure, but it didn't taste very fresh and didn't have that fluffiness most fresh naan will have. Either way, a solid place to try!"
"There are three restaurants I will solidly, loyally return to on every trip to Cambridge because time and time again, their food makes me say "damn, this is good." Kebab Factory is one - hopefully I've reviewed the other two but won't steal KF's thunder by revealing them here. There is so much variety here in the menu, you'd be right to be suspicious. But all of it is actually good. So you score twice: you'll never get sick of the place, and you'll discover new food even if you're very familiar with Indian and Pakistani foods (unless you're of that background and maybe you know more from home than I did in my upbringing). The vegetarian vegetable and paneer korma is super! I love going here for the lunch buffet. Even the chai is extra delicious and reliable. The TV during the meal can be annoying but everything else is awesome. Only have love for this place!"
"I was a fan of Saffron and ate there frequently when I was in the area. I'm glad to see this reboot, with its modified menu, which I think was exactly the right thing to do. The food is just as good, if not better. There are several new dishes, and oh those momos. The flavors are excellent, the spice levels are appropriate for your request, and everything tastes very fresh. I'm also a fan of the new Tree House across the street, which allows you to bring in your own food from nearby restaurants. A beer at Tree House paired with a meal from Taste of the Himalayas is, for me, a wonderful combination."
"We've been to Anmol a couple times now and each time has been consistent with their food. We've enjoyed everything we've tried there. My favorite by far is the Aloo Tikki Chaat and their Naan bread. The Aloo Tikki Chaat is so flavorful and delicious. The naan bread is cooked perfectly and great for dipping in everything. The Chicken Korma and soup were also good. Overall, I'd say that Anmol is a great place to try!"
"Came back here after a long hiatus. ;)Not much has changed. Food is still amazing. Server and service were baaaaaad...... The waiter may have some attention deficit disorder or something... While taking our order, he would walk away in the middle of a sentence, and come back, and repeat this circus a few times. And he would start laughing on his own, maybe the voices in his head said something funny, who knows, he didn't share with us. Or perhaps the permanent Christmas decorations made him really happy? Who knows.1-star for service and timing! Customers who came after us were served before us. We had to wait over 40 minutes to get served any food. Don't go there if you're in a hurry. It ain't 'fast' food for sure. ... oh, one more thing. They serve lassis in disposable plastic Solo cups, and serve Chai in paper coffee cups. WTH??Now, what about the food? We ordered Chana Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, rice and naan. Everything was soooooooo good! Especially the Chana Masala (chick peas)! OMG! So deliciously spicy! Would definitely go back for that!! (but I'll order takeout next time...)Salted lassi was amazing. Sooooo thick!Great food, in great company, but bad server and service.(OMG! (Some of) This food was sooooooooooooo hard to digest! We went there for lunch. I couldn't eat dinner, and at 10:30pm I was STILL burping this food.)"
"I ordered garlic naan, paneer Tikka masala, badami khee (homemade rice pudding flavored with cardamom and blended with almonds), and mango Lassi one for pick up order. Everything was extremely flavorful, fresh, and well prepared. All extremely reasonably priced as well! The garlic Naan had plenty of chopped garlic and was a perfect way to wipe my bowl clean of the paneer tikka masala. Badami khee was ab great way to end the meal, refreshing way to balance the heat. Mango lassi was also very refreshing. They allow for indoor eating in a safe manner. Plenty of parking in the plaza. I cannot wait to come back!"
"I dined here with colleagues for lunch. Hoped there was all-you-can eat lunch, but there was not. I got garlic naan and shrimp curry and mango lassi. All good. I liked garlic naan a lot. This is not the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to, but still good."
"Great to have a Momo place in the neighborhood.Ambiance: Decent, sitting, tables, decor, etc. However, place seems a bit small. That being said I got a table right away, went around 6:15 PM.Service: No complaints here, the staff are friendly, and they did allow me to do a half and half on the types of momo, which let me try two types.Food: I got medium level spice, so wasn't too spicy, but also intentional because wanted to see how flavors were. The flavors in the momo were great. I ordered Chicken Tandoori Momo and the Chicken Hariwali Momo Masala. I preferred the Hariwali. They give 10 in one order, took the rest home, so would recommend splitting the order if with someone.Laccha Paratha was good. GREAT chicken curry, the blend of spices, bell pepper, onion reminded me a a bit of Kanda Bateta Nu Shak. My next item to try will likely be the Eggplant Bhartha, there menu seems to have a lot of variety."
"Had a day off, was craving an Indian buffet. I haven't been to an Indian buffet since the place near Berklee was closed down after the Great Recession. Searched high and low on the internet for Indian buffet in the city of Boston. I couldn't find one, other than Cambridge. I wasn't in the mood to deal with Cambridge traffic in September or anytime really.A result from Reddit, people searching for Indian buffets, a whole post for people like me. Someone mentioned House of Tandoor in Newton. SOLD!I parked for 1 dollar in the municipal lot around the corner and went in. I was surprised it was so quiet! But the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. I'm on a weight loss drug so I only ate one plate and half the naan, and it was so delicious. The naan was super hot and made for the table. I got only veggie items. It was all soooo good. I'll be coming here again for sure. So delicious! Indian lunch buffet is life, am I right or am I right?"
"Every dish had me mind blown. The flavors put into each dish were spot on everything we were expecting and more I understand why so many say that Masala Square is a hidden gem for Indian food‼ The chicken tikka masala was my favorite with its creamy, addictive tomato flavor, but the potatoes in the vindaloo were spiced and cooked perfectly as well. We loved the chicken biryani as well Although you can adjust the spice level, I'd say medium was the perfect amount of spicy I could tolerate enjoyably A must try here is the mango lassi, the yogurt flavor within paired perfectly with the mango and its consistency was super enjoyable! I also recommend trying the supreme samosas! I'm glad we upgraded from the regular to supreme because the difference was the chana (chickpea) curry they topped off with that was the most flavorful and had the most refreshing hint of herbs‼Overall, I am 100% coming back here to try more and I definitely want to taste their variety of stuffed naan next time"
"Absolutely delicious food.I came here for a Yelp Elite event and got to try the kashmiri tikki, vegetable samosa, shaag paneer, butter chicken, vegetable rice, and butter naan. Everything was absolutely fantastic. I did have a Rupee beer with my meal. I don't personally like beer, but wanted to try it anyway. I did notice it was much more tolerable than other brands of beer I have had, The service was super friendly, and the restaurant itself was clean and organized."
"Just wow. We've been here twice and what positive experiences. The food had us drooling. Across both visits we've tried the following: chicken biryani, garlic naan, BNB Special Dum ka Murgh, malai kofta, gobi Manchurian, and mango lassi. Everything was delicious. The biryani has the perfect amount of spices, good ratio of rice to masala to chicken. Both dishes, dum ka murgh and malai kofta had a tasty base curry. The gobi Manchurian was fried expertly, it was hot and crispy. The garlic naan here is soft, thin and really melts in your mouth. The mango lassi was refreshing on a hot summer afternoon. Service was quick and efficient. I cannot wait to be back. And as I finish writing, I'm dreaming about their biryani...yum."
