Honeycomb Creamery

Returned while in the area for some desert even though it was freezing out haha.Today we got a small, two scoops of honey salted caramel crackle and a small PB fudge crackle with pawpaw lime sherbet.I think the lady's salted caramel crackle one was the best. The peanut butter with fudge bits in there was also yummy! I wasn't too big of a fan personally of the paw paw lime, got mostly lime (which is fine) not enough pawpaw haha.Got mine with a waffle cone on top and we were off!Will be back (oh yes they have a mystery flavor you can try in store and then write down your guess of what that flavor may be!

Tl;dr - the best ice cream I've ever had, served by an exceptionally hard working ice cream master. So many fun seasonal flavors! When we arrived the line was out the door. It moved incredibly fast though. There was only one person scoping and checking out and she ran the store like a boss! Having worked the restaurant business for a few years, I know how difficult it can be to manage a rush alone, and she absolutely killed it. We got a little of everything from soft serve to dairy free to regular and even tried the mystery flavor. I feel we are bit of ice cream snobs, and this was the best ice cream any of our party had ever had. The pumpkin ginger dairy free was so creamy and perfectly flavored and served along the equally delicious dirty chai made for the perfect ice cream duo. We will be back often and for those nights we can't make it, there will always be Honeycomb Creamery in my freezer. So happy to have found this place!

Fun ice cream spot in Cambridge, just above Harvard Square. my girlfriend and I really enjoyed the vibes and ice cream here! We had a ton of fun participating in the corn on the cob coloring page competition, and enjoying our sweet treats. The service here is vivacious and great! My girlfriend got a small PB&J ice cream cup with hot fudge on it, she liked it a lot and was eager to try new flavors next time. I wasn't feeling ice cream so I gave into the peach tea, but I wasn't a huge fan. It was super concentrated and not that sweet, it was like a thick apple cider consistency. I expected it to be more like a Snapple peach tea but it wasn't. I'd skip it. We'll be back here when we're in Cambridge next!

Salted caramel crisp (crisp is from honeycomb-like mix in) and brown sugar vanilla are incredible. 9/10

I've been eyeing honeycomb for a while and am so happy I finally got to try it! I love the variety of flavors, and opted for peanut butter and jelly with hot fudge. It was great! My girlfriend decided to try the peach iced tea, and wasn't a fan. When I tried it, I found it to be low in peach flavor and sweetness. The service was fantastic. The employees love connecting with customers! Our food/drinks were ready super quick, too. I found the inside to be nice too, with ample seating. If you come to honeycomb, I recommend sticking to what they're known for, because they're seriously good at it. Can't wait to be back and to try the new seasonal flavors!

Waited 30 minutes on a Saturday night for Honeycomb Creamery. Decent size dessert restaurant with fresh ingredients in their ice cream. Very kind and efficient staff, who are knowledgeable in flavors. We enjoyed the different flavors they offer other than the standard ones you normally find, decently sized too.

I saw this place on tiktok and was very intrigued by the unique flavors they offer, so we definitely wanted to stop by. Frankly I was pretty disappointed.First off, they don't let you sample any flavors, which is disappointing especially since they have such unique flavors, and you typically want to sample those before paying $7 for a small scoop of something you might not even enjoy. And with that in mind, I thought the ice cream itself was just okay. I do like that they have unique flavor options, but the texture is quite awful for ice cream. It is very icy and not creamy at all. Also, the lines get really long here even on weekdays, so keep that in mind as well. I was not impressed and frankly would not come back or recommend coming here.

I think they had an off day when I visited. This shop was highly recommended to me by a trusted ice cream enthusiast. I took a look online before arriving at 7pm on a Tuesday and knew there would be a good chance of the popular sweet corn and berry flavor being sold out, but decided to try other flavors too. When we arrived the sweet corn flavor was sold out, as was the cornbread sundae, both of which sounded incredible. Line wasn't bad, prices were not shocking, servers were nice. Not much seating available but the interior is very cute and there is free water and they only use compostable disposable products which was a plus. The reason it flopped that day was this: The blueberry maple flavor was great, very tasty, but I was confused in trying to determine where the s'mores flavor was. I found some chunks of graham crackers but the masrshmallow and chocolate flavors were very lacking. I bet the S'mores taco Tuesday special would have tasted more s'mores-like. The peanut butter chocolate ripple was freezerburnt and had a crystally texture, and honestly didn't have a noticeably full flavor either. Hence why I was confused where s'mores was and where peanut butter chocolate fudge ripple began. It was ice cream, and ice cream is good. But when the maple blueberry blows my mind the other two flavors were disappointing. The homemade fudge was AMAZING. The whipped cream was ample!

After eating nearby, I came here for an after meal dessert. The ice cream was delicious and they really have a lot of different variety of flavors. Unfortunately, they don't let you taste the different flavors but they are willing to switch out the flavors, if you don't like the one you picked! I got a small kiddie scoop and it was honestly the perfect size!

Good ice cream (well, it was fine.) Biggest gripe: no free samples... Makes no sense whatsoever. My girlfriend asked about mocha hazelnut after being weary about it. Then, she got it after the staff convinced her it was "impossible" that she dislike it. The flavor was bad, chocolate was too weak, whole thing was bland. Why couldn't they just give her one little sample so she could get something she liked? Won't come back.
