The pizza was good not spectacular. They did have a 6$ deal for 2 slices of cheese and a can of soda. The cheese fries my kids and wife loved I thought they were so-so. The gyro was perfect. The meat was cooked to perfection. The tsaiki sauce was in just the right amount. The gyro was 5 stars and worth trying for sure. I'll go back for a gyro when in the area.

I was picking up bagels from Bagelsaurus when I noticed this place right near. I was intrigued by the lit up shell and boy oh boy am I glad that I noticed this place. It's a hole in the wall that accepts card. I could not find any site that would deliver from them, nor could I find a place to put an online order. I could not even find a website for them, so looking up a menu was a bit difficult and I had to rely on google images and yelp photos to figure out what they had/the menu. That same night Hubby and I ordered dinner. I had to place my order over the phone, and my questions and order were taken swiftly and efficiently. Food was ready 20 minutes from ordering.We got: 1. Chicken fingers- not anything special but decent just what you would expect 2. Small gyro pizza- comes with gyro, tomatoes and onions and the crust was a bit thicker than I was expecting but enjoyable 3. Two gyro pitas with extra tzatziki on side- this is the star of the show. These gyro pitas were DELICIOUS. The gyro is both lamb and beef (no pork-I called and asked) and they do not skimp on the portion size here. In fact I ended up sharing my husband's pita and we saved mine for later. The gyro pita comes with lettuce, tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce.4. Small spicy fries- also decent

Family-run pizzeria with a broad menu that also includes breakfast, wings, salads, sandwiches, and gyros. I spent a good portion of quarantine a block away and ordered Half Shell often -- you get a big bang for your buck.Definitely try the gyros. They offer beef and chicken (if you don't specify, you'll get beef). The pitas come stuffed with a ton of meat and are super filling. Wings are decent, as are the salads (which are also humungous for the price). The pizzas might not be to everyone's preference. They tend to be quite thin and wet, and the toppings often slide off. It doesn't have a chewy crust or really cheesy . Still, the flavors are great, and my favorite is the namesake "Half Shell" pizza without the olives.

As a pizza place, I found it terrible. It tasted like someone had opened a can of Spaghetti-Os, strained it, and used that for the sauce. You might as well buy frozen pizza. However, based on other reviews, where it really seems to shine is gyros and sandwiches, so perhaps I wasn't playing to its strengths.

Half-Shell! I love them for their reasonable prices and tasty food. It's my number one go to during my lunch break. From theyre chicken finger subs, to they're garden salad, to their wraps. Oh wait you can't forget about those fried zucchini sticks. Honestly thanks to half shell for putting me on to such a yummy fried food that I didn't know I needed. Haha The only thing I could say I don't like about half shell is their Caesar dressing, it's a bit strange.
