Great Chef Chinese Food Day Square

I've been a customer here for over ten years now...doing mostly take out for pick up and delivery. Whenever I've picked up, the cashiers have always been friendly and kind. Same goes with the delivery drivers, they've always been speedy and nice as well. The web ordering makes life so much easier. Less room for errors! Also love the coupons which apply when you order over a certain amount. The food has always been hot and fresh. My family's favorites are: - Salt and pepper anything and everything but specifically the shrimp. They are big!- The apps are bomb, but we specifically like the beef teriyaki, wings, Rangoons, boneless strips, and fries! I don't know but the fries are seriously super duper addicting! - Orange chicken. My kids could devour the entire container. - All the options for lo mein. Who doesn't love noodles?- All the options for fried rice. We love the house special in particular. Oh can't forget that they're open realllll late! I think until 4:00am on Friday and Saturday and then 3:00am other nights. Back in the day, I'd hit up this spot after the club... now that I'm older with a family, we just go during normal hours lol. There are definitely other options here in the area, but my family's go-to remains Great Chef! Thanks and keep up the awesomeness!

10/23/22 If you are staying at the Double Tree in Boston you will find this a tasty delivery option.The first night we arrived very late at night and ate at the hotel restaurant which had extremely limited options to choose from. On our return visit hubs went down to the front desk as I thought there's got to be more choices since it was a regular dinner hour. They gave him several menus or brochures and this one's items looked super appealing.We placed a phone order and they called us when they reached the lobby. The food arrived fast and still hot. The taste was a food explosion of amazingness. I only ordered two items and should have ordered small instead of large. The servings were major generous and heaping. It was enough for 2-3 more people.Needless to say, we couldn't finish it and next time if the opportunity presents itself I'll order the smaller sizes.

Poured out my chicken fingers. Found a bandaid inside. They offered to deliver food free but of course lost my appetite. They weren't able to refund online order. Check twice if you order here.

Always hits the spot after a night out or when you're just in the mood for Chinese food.

Still as good as ever. IYKYK! Can't beat the value per quantity. Got a beef lo-mein that lasted two days between two foodies, Rangoon (they weren't as good as I remembered them to be TBH--almost no "crab"), and chicken teriyaki. The teriyaki was honestly the stand-out. So much meat on them sticks!!

So I was looking for good Chinese food and asked someone which is the best in the Chelsea area and was recommended this spot. The food here doesn't taste like Chinese food at all. The meat was dry and the food in all smelled a little burned. On top of that they send me the wrong order as well. The only thing that was decent was the Lo Mein.

SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.Food was mediocre at best.Service was poor and forgettable.Ambiance was disgusting--with broken decorations, gum under the table, and trash in the main area.

It's true not many things are open past 2:30 in Boston, but regardless this place is not bad at all. Yeah it's not the greatest, however I do think it's pretty good for what one can get past 2:30.
