The restaurant is located on the western side of Brighton Ave, west of Harvard Ave.Small shop. About 6 tables. Nice and bright inside. The offer a variety of Hong Kong style Cha chaan Teng food. Their signature food is Hong Kong style wonton noodles. This is one of the rare places that offer paper thin wonton skin. Noodle is flavorful with the traditional "alkaline" taste. Even the Chinese broccoli (gai lan) is fresh and tasty. Service is quick, some may find them rushed but that's efficiency for you. We also had beef brisket noodle and while the beef brisket is slightly chewy (being picky), it's flavorful. Overall the food here is great. A rare treat to tasty wonton in greater Boston area.

We don't have much wontons specialized places so I was excited to try it. It is a tiny place with four/ five tables. We ordered the curry fish ball rice, signature wonton soup, spicy wonton appetizer (not pictured) and custard buns to share. Dishes came out super fast. All dishes taste homey. My favorite would be the wonton soup - wontons are flavorful and the broth is light. The curry fish ball rice is not too remarkable. The spicy wontons have a unique tomato taste. The custard buns are just okay. All in all, a decent place but not too remarkable. -6.5/10

My partner and I got the HK style dumpling noodle soup (w thin egg noodle) and signature wonton lo mein (w flat egg noodle) -TASTE: 3/5 - was expecting more flavor, both noodle dishes tasted bland to me. The shrimp wontons were great TEXTURE: 4/5 - enjoyed the texture of both the thin and flat egg noodles, plus the tender wontons and crisp green onionPRICE: 4/5 - total was $40SERVING SIZE: 3/5 - satisfied us for lunch. With a name like Gigantic Wonton, I thought they would be truly massive lol, but they were just slightly larger than usualSERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 1:15pm on a Friday and one other table was filled. Our food came out 10min after ordering ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - small space of about 20 seats w minimal-style decor and photos of Hong KongPARKING: 4/5 - parked on a street spot close by on Harvard Ave

I hadn't seen many places selling wonton noodles, so this was definitely a must-try. We stopped by here on a weekend around 2pm so it wasn't too busy - we were immediately seated and given menus and water. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and when we asked about the difference between the signature wontons and the HK style dumplings, they pointed out the photos on the menu and what each one was called. They both looked great, but I ended up getting the signature wontons instead since the HK style dumplings looks like a thicker skin (my partner got the HK style, and they were very similar - with maybe mushrooms added?).The food came out incredibly quickly, and they even didn't mind that my partner had brought in a bubble tea she had purchased somewhere else.Signature wonton lo mein - While this may look like plain wonton noodles with wontons on top, veggies, and a side of broth, it's one of my favorite ways to eat wonton noodles. Mixed in with the noodles is actually a salty and savory sauce (perhaps oyster sauce based?) that seasons the noodles. I mixed in some chili oil and vinegar from the table and it was just perfect. The noodles were fresh tasting and bouncy - just how I like them. The wontons were delicate and full of flavor, and the side of veggies and soup were a nice addition on top of that. The only issue stopping this from getting 5 stars is that $14 for this type of food feels a little steep. I've definitely had this meal for much cheaper in the past, but with inflation this may just be the market price. Still, it feels a little much, but the actual taste of the food was great. I probably won't become a regular here, but I will definitely be back a few times when I'm craving wonton noodles! 4/5!

This is the ultimate comfort food for rainy day! Walked in on a rainy evening and was immediately seated by the window. The place is small but didn't feel cramped at all. I ordered the classic wonton noodle soup and curry fishballs. The wontons are definitely the star of the show. They are in indeed gigantic! Full of shrimp with good bounce and chew when you bite into it. The noodles were perfectly al dente as you don't want it to be soft when you're slurping the noodles. My only gripe about the soup is that I wish the broth was hotter, but that's because i prefer my soups piping hot. The curry fishballs were great too, full of deep curry flavor. I wish I got some rice to go with it too. Definitely will be back to try the other items on the menu!

I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.My friends and I ordered: -signature wonton noodle soup: came with 4 wontons, 2 pieces of bok choy and yellow egg noodles. The wontons were okay, nothing special. They were a bit pasty/gritty. My favorite wontons are from Maxis in Flushing, NY for a baseline. -beef brisket noodle soup: the beef needed to be cooked for MUCH longer. It was so tough, hard to eat. -hong Kong milk tea: very sweet and seemed like it was made from an instant packet.

I've been craving wonton noodle soup and this place hit the spot!Their Signature Wonton Noodle Soup ($14) came with 4 wontons and a generous portion of egg noodles. The wontons weren't gigantic unfortunately, but they were stuffed with shrimp filling and had a nice bite to them. The broth was also savory and comforting - perfect for a chilly day!I would definitely come back to try their other noodle soups. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was fast. The place felt modern and clean as well. I only wished they offered non-plastic soup spoons to scoop up the broth.

This is a 3.5 star place, but I have to give whole number ratings...I'm erring on the side of 4 for now. This place is right next to Coreanos in Allston. Its a very small shop that has maybe 5 or 6 tables. The place is brand new so it looks clean. We were seated facing outwards so I didn't get to observe what the place really looks like. There were people behind us so I didn't want to be awkwardly staring backwards and taking pictures. Oh, this place does not have air conditioning! As for their food, the menu is not huge. Come with an appetite for wonton noodle soup! The wontons are a good size, maybe slightly larger than the ones you get in chinatown (thinking of Chinatown Cafe and HK Eatery). There also are good amounts of shrimp inside. The egg noodles are cooked perfectly. 2 pieces of green veggie pieces are also included, as are some scallions. You can choose up to 2 additional "toppings" or add-ons (wontons, dumplings, brisket, etc). The broth was hot and savory -- more on the salty side for both my wife and I. The stuffed chicken wings are mostly boneless, stuffed with some shrimp. I was most excited for this but it wasn't as special as I'd hope. Just get the wonton soup. My wife and I had the 2 bowls of wonton soup with brisket, and an order of wings. With the 5% cash discount (it comes this way - they assume you are paying cash), and 18% tip, it came to $60. Afterwards, we went to pick up my daughter and her friend who ate at Spring Shabu Shabu (down the street). They also paid $60 total for the 2 of them with a plate of meat. Hmmmm....? I'm glad to have tried this place, as its different from most of the korean offerings in the area. Hopefully they can expand their menu to maybe include some chinese BBQ toppings/add-ons in the future. Other considerations: - There is only street parking in a very busy area. Good luck. - Today was near 80 degrees and drinking their hot soup with no AC or fan was not a good idea. I relished every second it took for their front door to close once someone left. - You get the most flimsy (thin) plastic soup spoons ever with your meal. - When we were seated, we got exactly 2 pieces of bathroom paper (hand) towels. When I asked for extra napkins, I actually got 2 pieces of real paper napkins. Weird that I got towels to begin with. - The wonton noodle soups come out quickly. - The waitress there spoke to us in chinese by default. My wife speaks chinese so its okay, but when I spoke in English, they seemed to not understand.

Never seen a restaurant specializing in wontons before, so definitely had to give them a try! The restaurant itself is small and accommodating to walk-ins. The service was perfectly fine. The wontons themselves were pretty good and filled with a lot of meat, but unfortunately you only get 4 wontons per bowl. That is such a disproportionate ratio of wontons to noodles. The Golden Black Phoenix buns were actually grey (not black) and filled with salted egg yolk filling. However the bun texture was oddly hard (almost like they half steamed some frozen buns). Not really a fan of them and they were overpriced ($8 for 3 small buns). Overall, this spot is convenient if you have soup cravings, but definitely overpriced for what you get.

This is such a great addition to the Allston area! The restaurant is tiny on the inside but the staff are very quick, friendly, and attentive.I was in the mood for some wonton soup so I ordered the trio dumplings in soup ($15). It came with 6 plump wontons (3 different fillings, 2 of each), some fresh veggies, and a light but comforting broth. The wontons were super impressive. The skins were tender while the filling was plump and flavorful. Each wonton had its own unique flavor profile and I loved how there were still large-ish chunks of shrimp in the shrimp wonton. There are a lot of condiments at the table (chili oil, salt, white pepper, vinegar, soy sauce) so you can dress up the broth to your taste.I also got a salted plum spritz ($6). It was refreshingly fizzy and tasted mostly like lime except for the added saltiness from the salted plum they add on the bottom. I would get it again! My friend tried their Hong Kong milk tea which had a strong tea flavor. It wasn't sweetened which took us by surprise but the staff kindly added sugar to it when we asked.
