I love FoMu! I think it's by far the best vegan ice cream that you will find in Boston. They have so many flavors and to have it be dairy free and have other allergy friendly options (e.g., gluten free, nut free) is incredible! Most of their ice creams are coconut based and they do not disappoint. They are creamy and sweet, but not overly sweet. The flavor profiles are incredible as well. My favorite is the George Howell cold brew ice cream. But you also can't go wrong with the chocolate chip cookie dough. Their seasonal flavors are always fun to try as well, so it's worthwhile to stop by often. You can order in a size mini, small, medium, or large. I know for the small size up medium and large you can put at least two flavors, so if you're indecisive, you can mix and match! When you're in the mood for a quick treat, the mini is a perfect size. There are plenty of toppings that you can add to make a fun sundae, including your classic hot fudge to sprinkles to chocolate chips and more. Everything is vegan and plant based too. I also love that you can get a pint of the ice cream if you're looking for more. For those looking for something more fun than just a cup or cone of ice cream, they have so many vegan cookies that you can create ice cream cookie sandwiches. Also they have ice cream cakes!! I recently had the great honor of trying one of these and it was amazing. I got to try the vanilla sprinkle cake and it was everything I could have dreamed of and more!! Literally so many options!

Tl;dr - absolutely delicious, and service is always amazing! Such a great find! FoMu is basically next door so we go here on a regular basis. Their staple and seasonal flavors are amazing. I find that vegan ice cream often tends to be a bit off in texture (icy and grainy) but FoMu is so smooth and creamy. I couldn't even pick a single flavor as a favorite, they are all amazing.

Some of the best vegan ice cream I've ever had. I'm visiting from out of town and my friend who's been before made sure we stopped by. I tried a couple flavors before deciding on getting the birthday cake & the peanut butter cookies & creme (basically, I forget what they call it). Anyways I was so pleased to see they had whipped cream and waffle cones too. The staff was so friendly and patient as I struggled to decide my flavors. It's a cute spot. I definitely recommend & would love to return!

Really great dairy free ice cream shop! They have free samples and lots of flavor options. A little pricey, but that's not surprising.

I've tried three different flavors of this vegan icecream at both the Fenway and South End locations and both times it was simply not good. I like vegan icecream if done well but it has tasted weird here both times and gave me a stomach ache after. Would rather just get sorbet or get vegan ice cream from another Boston establishment.

the best vegan ice cream i've ever had!!! the elvis pretzely flavor is immaculate-i absolutely loved the sweetness of the banana base ice cream with the saltiness of the chocolate covered pretzels and the creaminess of the peanut butter. my friends got the brownie batter and the cold brew flavors and those were delicious as well. The price is a little steep at almost $6 for a mini but it was so worth it

Let's be honest - if you know, you know :)This place has some of the best damn ice cream I've ever had, vegan or not. The ice cream sundae is super fun and the texture of the ice cream is unreal. Both vegan and non-vegan friends alike love this place and call it elite ice cream. Go FoMu!!

Delicious plant based ice cream. I got the cookies and cream and was pleasantly impressed with how creamy and rich it was, yet still full of flavor. It had the right ratio of cookie to ice cream as well so I was glad the chocolate cookies weren't overpowering. You can taste the coconut base in it so if you don't like coconut this might not be for you. It is a little expensive (about $7) for a mini size, but being that it is small batch and plant based it is understandable. It is a small shop so there aren't any places to eat inside.
