After drinking a smoothie at this place, my daughter got food poisoning. Worse, when I told them, they got hostile at me, as if I was the problem.The smoothie was the only food she had that I didn't share in the previous 24 hours, and she got really sick about 6 hours after drinking it -- classic evidence this was the culprit. Not proof, but worth letting the provider know. I called to tell them, and suggested they investigate their ingredients so they don't make anyone else sick if they're actually the source of her illness. I didn't ask for a refund or otherwise complain -- just told them I wanted to alert them to the potential problem. But the guy who answered the phone got hostile with me, told me "No one ever complains," and told me to come in to the shop and tell him in person if I had a complaint. I pointed out that in fact someone was complaining -- me -- and that I wouldn't be coming in to the shop because I was taking care of my sick daughter at the hotel. I explained I wasn't looking for anything other than to warn them -- and he just kept yelling over me, telling me "no one ever complains," and eventually hung up on me. So yeah, that didn't go well. All he needed to do was say, "Thanks, we'll look into it," and instead he just shouted at me. I'd avoid any food service that doesn't take warnings like this seriously and instead gets defensive and hostile.

The staff here was a little rough around the edges to say the least. I don't know that I'd say "rude" but they're very pushy and don't have very good manners they just throw your stuff in the bag and yell "next customer" to the person behind you. The lobster tail was okay, a little stale for my liking, but the M&M cookies were fantastic. We got 3 cookies a mini lobster tail and a milky way latte for $22. Not terrible overall.

Wish I saw their yelp reviews before I tried this spot. I tried their key lime pie and mini eclair. The key lime pie was disappointing and stale; it tasted like it was sitting out for a few days. The eclair was okay.. but I wouldn't recommend based on my experience.

Got a soy latte and a cannoli to wake up, and try out. The latte was underwhelming, flat, bland, and didn't have any foam. The cannoli was also stale, but at least wasn't super sugary as you might expect from a food court, but I'd wait to go somewhere else next time.

Nice little bakery located in Faneuil Hall.They have lots of very delicious looking cakes, pies, eclairs, cheesecakes, cookies and other baked goods on display in their display cases. It was so hard to decide which one of their goodies to pick!I wanted something small, just enough to satisfy my sugar craving so I decided to get one of the miniature eclairs they have there for just a couple of bucks.The eclair was very delicious, fresh tasting and had just the right amount of filling inside. I enjoyed it and would definitely go back for another.They also sell beverages such as coffee, soda, bottled water and so forth.If you are eating at the food emporium at Faneuil Hall and need something sweet after your lunch or dinner this is definitely a place worth stopping by!

I came through the market Saturday at 5pm and ordered a lobster tail and apple crisp. I was on the way to maine from boston airport. When i got to my car a few minutes later I found the pastry's were completely stale. It cost $28 to park so I certainly was not going to come back. They would not give me a refund or replacement when i came back through town on Wednessday.

For Half Off at the Hall, Carol Ann's Bake Shop was offering their muffins and half-and-half cookies for half off till the end of March. Turns out you have to know this in order to get the special pricing.When I ordered my apple muffin ($1.60 reg) I was initially told to pay the regular price. But when I asked, but isn't it half off? I was begrudgingly quoted a price of 90 cents, then 80 cents after she punched the numbers into the register.The muffin itself looked good, but when I ate it, it was just sweet. And it kind of clumped up in my mouth as I chewed. It wasn't bad per se, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Wanted to get something sweet from Boston before leaving, we ended up getting the cannoli and the famous Boston Cream Pie. Both were ok, Boston pie was good and sweet but it didn't do anything for my taste buds.All I thought was, this is it ?

Boston Creme pie was excellent! Big enough to split between two people. Lots of other treats there too.
