My go-to takeout spot for Chinese food in Dorchester, much better than other Chinese spots I've tried in the neighborhood. The food is not too greasy, the portions are generous and the service is quick. Definitely recommend their crab rangoon, fried shrimp and pad thai! The pad thai is not on their online menu, but it's advertised inside the restaurant when you walk in - so I usually call to place my order noe instead of ordering online to get these off-menu items.

Horrible service I'm filing a baby company and they are so rude! They charges me 30 just for one box of meat? This is crazy 4 dollars for two meats and an egg roll? I don't think so and then they took my money and won't give it back for this horror im so upset never ever go here!! They should be closed. She even told me to call driver like what you call your driver and tell him the situation!!!

Back in the day effing love CH Then I heard that they were cited with rodent issues as well as some other stuff. If it wasn't for my daughter's insistence, I probably would not have given them another shot.Veggie and pork fried rice had excellent texture, flavor, and fluff. Very fresh tasting like it was just made and not sitting around all day getting sour.Egg foo Yong- amazing fresh taste, gravy also very good although a bit wateryCrab Rangoon - crispy and yummy however looked like it had freezer burnWings were tasty, crispy on the outside yet, a tad undercooked and also had freezer burn.All in all shout out to Canton House for having the best Chinese rice in Boston and for getting their act together and coming back into my life after I banished them for many years due to inspection concerns.

The food taste funky. The rice tasted kind of weird for some reason, the chicken wings were as bland as could be, and the boneless spare ribs were anorexic thin and mostly strips of fat. I am highly disappointed in Canton House, order from here and you will be too!

Really terrible food. Worst egg foo young and pork fried rice ive ever had. Hardly any pork or anything else in the pork fried rice and the rice tastes like crap. Chicken egg foo young, which is hard to ruin, which is why i ordered it, was basically inedible. I was really hungry and just moved to the area. I ended up throwing out half the food because it was so bad. Wasnt worth saving. With 12 inches snow coming tonight I was hoping to have some of it for breakfast tomorrow. Id rather starve or go out in the snow to find something else.

Do not eat at this restaurant!! I live next door. It has rats and roaches! I ate here when I first moved in and looked it up on yelp to see the reviews; I was like, I live next door; I don't see any roaches!!! BUT little did I know, was a wave about to hit me! But, back to the food if the cockroaches and rats aren't a deterrent for your taste buds. The food is disgusting! I ate here once! NEVER AGAIN, THERE WAS HAIR IN MY FOOD, and the rice was extremely dry. I ordered an egg roll and couldn't make out the ingredients. It didn't match what was on the menu item. It seemed like it was just filled with a medley of items from their food or veggie scraps. If you eat at this restaurant, you should definitely consider blessing your food cause it's just that terrible you may get sick!
