"Fantastic first time experience at The Q. We made reservations on Opentable and arrived a few minutes early. The place was hopping but we were able to be seated within 10 minutes. We had a party of 5 and got a nice corner booth at the front of the restaurant. The service was excellent with food coming to the table within minutes and our water glasses topped off every few minutes. The food was outstanding. We had kimchi, a paradise sushi roll and beef tongue for appetizers. For entrees we had more sushi, beef noodle soup, general guas chicken, kung pao chicken, and a mala soup. Hands down the best dining experience we had in Boston."
"What a great way to start out 2023 with a solid 4/5 star rating!I've dined at Kaze several times now, but I feel confident in giving them 4 solid stars. This is the perfect comfort food spot that's opened later in the night and decent in price. Service is always pretty quick.Amazing quality meat cuts, including the Japanese Wagyu Kobe beef which comes with gold flakes on top. The bone marrow soup broth is phenomenal, and it comes with a bone and meat melting off the sides. The only reason why this place cannot receive my 5-star rating is because the sauces are left out in the open for everyone to access. They don't even have a sanitary cover."
"Ibasaw is an AYCE hotpot and sushi a la carte restaurant. I came here with a big group on a Friday night and we didn't have to wait. They have a huge parking lot with lots of space.Every table shares a communal pot. For broth, we got the half Chengdu hot and spicy and half Chinese herbal. Their menu has a pretty big meat and seafood selection. The best things to order are the prime rib ribeye, rock crab (whole), lamb, clams, muscles, shrimp, and scallop. If you're into the exotic foods, they have beef tongue, aorta, frog leg, gizzard, and blood. Everybody gets 2 hours to eat. For vegetables their daikon, enoki mushrooms, winter melon, wood ear fungus, bok choy, napa cabbage, and watercrest were good. If you waste too much food, they have a policy that they can charge $10 per person. Their sauce station was simple and includes about 15 different things in it. They serve pretty affordable alcohol here as their cocktails here are $9, beer is between $5 to $7, and wine is $9 a glass. They also have wine by the bottle, sake, and soju. The service here was decent and the food came out quickly. The ambiance is that of a very typical plain Chinese restaurant with no decorations. The price is $35 for the all I can eat but they charge an extra $3 for the broth so it's more like $38 a person."
"Great food. Decent service. The only place in the area where you'll find this type of food from this specific region in China."
"Good place for a group gathering. We called ahead for a table of 12.Good soup base. One can order a split pot with double flavor soup base, 1/2 non-spicy chicken soup and 1/2 signature spicy soup.Boil the meat, seafood, vegetables dishes in the soup and eat! Afterward, one can also drink the yummy soup!Attentive service! They add more soup base, refilled water, and brought more napkins without us asking! Items were brought relatively quick. The place is clean and nicely decorated!"

*** SOLID 4.5 STARS *** Delicious black bone chicken broth! So def order this for your hotpot. Mala and mushroom broth were also yummy. Pls refer to pics on this posting for my order. All the proteins were of high quality EXCEPT the beef tongue. Kids complained that it's rubbery, hence the 1/2 star deduction. Service was friendly and courteous. It was quite a busy night and we were lucky for scoring a table with only less than 10 mins wait. Highly recommended!

I was seated right away on a saturday night, perks of solo travel! The meat combo is a really good deal, comes with assorted veggies and n00dz. Not sure which broth to get? I recommend the pork bone broth with tomato and corn. Not sure how to make your sauce? Equal parts: garlic, green onion, chilis, sate with two parts soy sauce.

This restaurant was pretty good. They had a lot of variety of Hotpot ingredients. Ordering is very easy and you just order from a checklist. The ingredients are pretty fresh but not the freshest. The broth was pretty tasty as well. The interior is simple and it appears to be pretty clean. The sauce bar is very minimal, but you don't really need it because the broth is salty enough. Service was good and it was a good place to be on a very cold day.

I came here based on a recommendation from someone who grew up in Northeastern China. Although I've never had much Northeastern Chinese food myself, I was curious to try the various dishes they have to offer!4 of us split the house-style liangpi ($13.95), paradise garden ($15.95), Dongbei braised spare ribs ($17.95), braised eggplant with fried pork ($16.95), foil beef ($17.95), and a large bowl of rice ($7.25).I highly recommend trying the above selection of dishes if you've never had Northeastern Chinese food before, because each of those dishes had their own unique flavor and texture profile. The liangpi had a tangy, nutty sesame sauce which was cold and refreshing with the chewy noodles. The noodles came with lots of sliced cucumber which added to the freshness of the dish. I couldn't stop eating it!The paradise garden was unlike anything I've had before-- a mixture of fresh, thinly sliced vegetables, shrimp, and tripe came swimming in a dark-colored cold broth that wasn't heavily salted. Each component in the dish was fresh but I can't say I was the biggest fan of this one, mostly because I was unfamiliar with the dish and didn't know what to expect. The Dongbei braised spare ribs were so tender that they fell off the bone. The meat was extremely flavorful and had a good balance between leaner and fattier bits. The braised eggplant with fried pork had a Chinese American vibe to it because there was so much breading and a sweet-and-sour sauce. The eggplant was super tender, although I barely tasted any pork in the dish. The foil beef was soft, tender, and had a pleasant peppery flavor to it! The beef was swimming in a delicious sauce that paired perfectly with rice.Overall, I was very impressed by the various ways they've prepared meat. I would definitely come back for the liangpi and to try their other dishes!

Came in before its busy time, and I had great time here! I like the broths and, everything looks so fresh. Service was amazing, the moment you enter the restaurant, the whole staffs greeted you in Chinese very loudly and friendly. You get to make your own sauces at the station. Our bill was $320 for 6, not bad for hotpot, since hotpot is pretty pricey nowadays. They offer coat hanging service, so your jackets/coats will not smelled like hotpot once you finish the meal. The staffs are well trained and friendly. They saw my group were trying to take a selfie, so they offered to take one for us. Our table was well taken care of. Will come back!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! From the outside, the place is really unassuming and easy to miss. The interior is pretty small, but cozy. The ordering system is on a tablet, which is nice because it comes with pictures of all of the foods. I ordered hand pulled pork noodles and the green tea sesame balls, but unfortunately the sesame balls weren't ready for the day yet so I subbed scallion pancakes. The noodles came out pretty quickly and I was so pleasantly surprised. The noodles were super chewy and fresh and the pork was delicious! The scallion pancakes were great to dip in the chili oil of the noodles. The quantity of food was quite large, so I was able to take it home and have another meal the next day. Highly recommend this place for authentic Chinese noodles!!

We went on a Saturday night during their soft opening so the menu is limited to one page. We were the only ones and League of Legend was playing on the TV. We were skeptical at first but overall, the food was very good. Here's my recommendation thus far: Grilled eggplant, the eggplant is grilled halved and then slathered with a garlic scallion oil. Small grilled oysters were $2.50 a piece while the large oysters were $4.50 a piece. The large oysters were twice the size of the small oyster, but other than that, both were seasoned the same, with a garlic ginger scallion dressing. You will notice that a lot of the dishes have a similar garlic scallion dressing. If you can't handle fishy, don't order the grilled saury. It comes with a small wedge of lime. This fish has tiny bones. It's like a less fatty and less fishy (but still fishy) version of a mackerel. If you can't handle fishy, I would skip on this. I want to say, all the skewers we tried had the same seasoning. You can definitely taste among the spices, cumin. The first round, we ordered the chicken gizzard, chicken heart, and lamb skewer. All had different texture and were good. We purposely skipped the chicken skewer during the first order, however, it turned out to be one of our favorites. It was juicy and tender. Same with the shrimp skewers, which turned out to be another favorite. It was sweet and juicy. It's one shrimp per order with the head, tails, and shell on. Sausage skewer comes with three pieces, which were also good. But not something so good that I would order multiples of. I hope they will be expanding more on their menu. Such as adding different parts of the chicken such as thigh meat, skin, etc. And I know this is Chinese BBQ skewers and not Japanese yakitori, but I do hope they expand on the flavors profile. Maybe add scallions or leeks between the chicken skewers for different texture. They already have quail eggs, but how about bacon wrapped quail eggs? Or maybe bacon wrapped okra or bacon wrapped enoki. Or grilled thick cuts of bacon. Also maybe adding more vegetables and mushrooms such as enoki, shiitake, oyster mushroom. I don't recommend the fried bons which comes with a condensed milk for dipping. These were not good because they were way too oily and airy. They were also much smaller when compared to other places we have tried. One order comes with four pieces. Just way too oily and not enough bread. Oh, and they really need to fix their door. Each time it closes, there is a loud squeaking noise because of an improper fit. Other than that, food tasted good. Customer service was prompt and efficient. I would definitely come back. See my pictures.

"What a gem to find. We found parking on the street, which was meter. We did not do hotpot as I know that is what they are famous for. They have a mini ferris wheel where they place your raw items so when you are ready to cook you can spin the wheel. The restaurant is very small. Our favorite dishes were the beef noodle soup, broth was great and beef was thick."
"This place is not closed! I really enjoyed the fish in this place. For that fish I will give it 5 stars. I forgot the name but there was one that was slim and another that was shorted and wider, a mackerel perhaps? Both were tasty and freshly fried. They have a unique hotpot that has 9 sections divided into the bowl which I thought was different. I had the beef chicken shrimp fish cake and chicken wing skewers. All were tasty but the chicken wing skewer is huge! I also enjoyed the grilled green pepper. Amazing."
"I went here three times for takeout while visiting Boston. The menu is large and portions are pretty big. I tried the beef and green beans, tofu and veggie rice plate, fish and veggie rice plate, and minced beef and vegetable rice plate. Everything was good, my favorites were the tofu and cod dishes. The rice plates are much cheaper than the entrees. My only complaint was that the lady who took my order the phone misheard me and charged me for the entree.. that was a little frustrating so just be sure to emphasize you want the rice plate. Overall, solid Chinese food and they are open late. Parking can be tough so we just always got take out."
"My partner and I got AYCE hot pot dinner -TASTE: 5/5 - everything was solid. Enjoyed our pick 2 broth: herbal and sichuan mala; the latter had the perfect level of spicy. Our favorite meat was fatty beef, and favorite meatball was beef balls. Enjoyed the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and eel avocado maki tooTEXTURE: 4/5 - the vegetables were crisp. Highlights included the watercress, daikon, king oyster mushroom, wood fungus, and fried tofuPRICE: 5/5 - great value honestly. Our Friday dinner was $36pp, and didn't think we needed the Premium options vs. Regular. Would come back to bring family and friends SERVING SIZE: 5/5 - it's AYCE, so we got a couple rounds of food. Left absolutely stuffed SERVICE: 4/5 - we walked in at 4:45pm for an early dinner, and the space was virtually empty. Our waiter was nice and checked on us often. By the time we left, many tables and the bar were filledATMOSPHERE: 5/5 - unassuming building w more space inside than I thought, plus fun touches like claw machines in the lobby, Marvel figures throughout, and a hot pot dipping station to make your own sauces. Table sizes for hot pot can vary: 1 hot pot for a table of 4-6 people, and 2 hot pots for a table of 8PARKING: 5/5 - ample parking in Top Pot's dedicated lot"
