We had a party of 5 and got a nice corner booth at the front of the restaurant. The service was excellent with food coming to the table within minutes and our water glasses topped off every few minutes. The food was outstanding. We had kimchi, a paradise sushi roll and beef tongue for appetizers. For entrees we had more sushi, beef noodle soup, general guas chicken, kung pao chicken, and a mala soup. Hands down the best dining experience we had in Boston."

We ordered several dishes from their big menu and honestly everything was a hit. Fan favorites included the spicy white fish with vegetables, noodles with shrimp, chicken fried rice, and chicken with eggplant. The black truffle soup dumplings in my opinion were just ok and not worth the price. All in all a great meal and at a very reasonable price point. Our whole group left stuffed and happy."

TJ N. "This was my first visit to All Seasons Table. I liked the space, and even though it is supposed to be modern Asian, it could have been any restaurant as there were not many inflections of Asian-inspired decor. The place feels clean and modern. The front end was nice. The menu for Columbus Day was dinner only at 1:00 in the afternoon. That sort of dinged my impression at first, but there were a lot of choices, as we were presented with four menus. We selected a shrimp tempura sushi and spicy edamame for the appetizer. The sushi was spot on, actually better than many places I've been to over the years. The spicy edamame was tasty but lacked a little bit of salt though it did have a nice spice, just right. For our dishes we had Pad Thai and I got the pineapple walnut shrimp. It was presented with the tail sticking up and looked adorable. It was a little odd that the pineapple in the center was not part of the actual sauce and was cold. It was basically the traditional shrimp and walnut dish that you would get in many restaurants just with pineapple in the center. I decided to squeeze a little bit of lime on it and be honest with you. I highly recommend that to the chef to possibly consider, it made so much difference for just one little teeny wedge of lime squeezed on top at the finish.I used the restroom which was not as stylish as the restaurant, it was straight-up utilitarian, it almost felt like you were in a restroom for a completely other type of business, just seemed out of place. All in all, I would definitely return to this establishment as the food was above average across the board."

There was no pressure to push us out the door and everyone really enjoyed their food.I had the mango shrimp which was very reminiscent of sweet and sour. It was very sweet, and I was hoping for a little bit more of a spicy kick as it was described in the menu. The chicken satay was delicious and I tasted the chow Fun-which was just like I had when I was a kid.The watermelon (non alcoholic) drink that I ordered was delicious. I specifically asked for no additional sugar and it was light and refreshing. Next time I really want to try the red bean shake!"

The first time, I got take out. The second time, I came spontaneously with a large group of pals. We were seated right away. The ambiance is casual. The service is okay. This rating is mostly for the food. The dumpling dough is thick, there aren't many (if any) pleats, and the fillings weren't enticing. Sometimes there was gristle, or other chewy textures. Both times I want, I got several kinds of dumplins. Both times, many dumplings were composted because nobody else would eat them and I couldn't bring myself to eat them either, and I hate wasting food. There are better dumpling spots than this. It's an very authentic Chinese (Cantonese style) restaurant, all servers spoke Cantonese including the lady boss, and all other customers around us were Cantonese speaking too, and they all seemed to be returning customers for multiple times already, a good sign of how good this place is! The restaurant is slightly on the small size with tables pretty closed together, but there seems to be additional seating area in the next room down the hallway at the back.Lobster with Ginger and Scallion: AVery tasty! The flavor of ginger and scallion were fully absorbed by the lobster meat, we ordered two medium size lobsters for three people which was perfect, the price was very reasonable too at $45.Braised Lamb with Bean Curd: A-Please ask for bean curd sauce and dipping the lamb with it further enhanced the flavor of this dish. Wish they added mushroom to it too as it's one of the key ingredients of this classic Cantonese dish.Steamed Chicken: ASo tasty! Very tender and juicy chicken meat even the white meat.Choi Sum: A-The vegetables was fresh, stir fry with garlic at the right amount of time.If I were to live in Boston I'm sure I would go to this place every week, even coming from California with lots of good Chinese food, I would consider this place as top notch, highly recommended!"

Their menu option is somewhat limited, having dumplings, hand-pulled noodles, a few stir fry dishes, with spicy dry pot options. The price actually didn't increase that much since my last visit, considering inflation. Mulan Taiwanese Restaurant

Mulan Taiwanese Restaurant

★★★☆☆ 3.4 (420)

Sherwin C. "Had a great meal here which fortunately I got to enjoy in a private room as the main dining room seemed to be very busy. This is probably due to the giant portion sizes and reasonable prices offered here for food that's cooked quite well. Not every dish was great, as they seem to do best in banquet style dishes, particularly of Taiwanese style but for the more generic options that you'd generally order from an Americanized Chinese restaurant, these were only okay.In particular there were some items that really stood out for me. The Smoked duck taiwanese style is a must try item, full of flavor from the tea leaves and super tender. The salted crispy chicken is not excessively salty but full of flavor and very crispy. The pork chop with sweet and sour sauce is nice and just a bit fatty, particularly around the bone and has a good balance to it. The braised pork shin in brown sauce is huge and had nice tender meat, but the skin is just unbelievably soft and flavorful. Mu Lan FIsh is a bit spicy, but really more fragrant and the fish fillets are nice and tender within the spicy sauce. In general, if you stick with the recommendations you'll have quite a good meal, but generic fried rice or lo mein type options are only okay. A few of the more traditional options like scallion pancakes, eggplant with basil, and shredded pork with baby bamboo were a bit underwhelming for me -- not bad, but I've had better versions in the area.Overall, great choice if you're looking for banquet style chinese food and a good choice if you're looking to enjoy Taiwanese food. Pretty much everything you try here is between good and great in terms of flavor and texture."

Della S. "The menu items here seem to be quite hit-or-miss. The good dishes can be really delicious but if you pick the wrong dish then you are in for a bad time. I recommend their regular dumplings over their xiaolongbao.5 of us split their Szechuan-style fish, squid, and shrimp ($22.95), Taiwan-style pan fried tofu ($15.95), Singapore rice noodle ($14.95), 2 orders of their xiaolongbao/mini juicy buns with pork ($10.95), and 1 order of their pork and leek dumplings ($10.95).The Szechuan-style fish, squid, and shrimp had a decent portion of seafood that we could split between all of us. The broth was extremely salty and was much better with rice. This dish had everything I expected and nothing more-- I wasn't super blown away by the dish but thought that it was fairly decent for the price you pay.The Taiwan-style pan fried tofu was my favorite dish. The tofu was previously fried but was coated in a savory sauce so the exterior was not crispy-- the entire piece of tofu was quite soft. However, the skin on the tofu still had a nice bubbly texture that clung onto the sauce very well. The tofu itself was also very tender. I'd recommend this dish to anyone who likes tofu! The Singapore rice noodles were okay. They could have been spicier and I wouldn't have minded if they had an even stronger curry flavor. The portion is good for the amount you pay though.Like I said above, their pork and leek dumplings were significantly better than the mini juicy buns with pork. I do not recommend the mini juicy buns with pork at all. There was something off to them. They were bursting with soup as I would expect of a normal xiaolongbao, but the soup just didn't taste good, and the pork filling didn't have good flavor either. This spot isn't bad, but it also isn't mind-blowingly good. They're open late though, so if you are craving Chinese food at 1am, don't forget about this spot!"

Szechuan, Hunan, Hakka, Hong Kong, and many others. I'm partial to northern Chinese, and the numerous Hong Kong-style joints may be popular, but they're just too mild for me. I need BOLD SPICING, and after trying many of the joints around town, I had all but given up. And then I found Qing Dao, which was like finding heaven. We ordered just 3 dishes: Chicken with Cabbage Dumplings, Mu Shi Chicken, and Eggplant Peking Style. Life changing: the eggplant. OMG. This place is always packed, and fortunately, when we came in, we were able to get a seat right away. I let my mom decide what we would have for dinner and she had sensational choices. We started with some crispy baked squab. If you never had squab, it tastes similar to duck. This squab was not gamey and it was rich and very meaty. The skin was so crispy, which was my favorite part. I love eating seafood, and mom ordered the clams in black bean sauce, which was delicious. The clams were fresh and meaty, and the dish was super saucy. My favorite childhood thing to do is to have a bowl of rice with sauce all over it. I enjoyed very much the clams and my bowl of rice with the black bean sauce. And just to be virtuous, we got a plate of sautéed pea shoots. The dish came out pipping out and I nearly burned my tongue. There was a mountain of pea shoots (at $16 a dish, I better get a lot ) on that dish and I loved how much wok-hei it had. The building is very modern looking inside out, and is very clean and comfortable. There is ample parking (free) next to the building. There are traditional tables, seats at the bar, and elevated seating tables. They open at 11:30am on Saturdays and we arrived 15 minutes prior and there was already a line! 90% of the people in line are asian, so this place must be good! There is one small room where they keep all of their buffet offerings. There is a large center island housing all of their hot foods, including steamed options like shumais and other dumpling/dimsum varieties and things like fried rice. Towards the right wall is their desert offerings, featuring some fruit and even chicken feet. On the left wall is their sushi stuff. All are included in the buffet. Your price of admission includes a soup, for which the waiter will ask if you want hot and sour, wonton or miso soup. The soup was mid. Service is really good. The staff are friendly and come around to pick up dirty plates as needed. I saw some helping tables take pictures. When its time to pay, they bring the credit card machine to you and our waitress looked away when it was time for me to select the tip. The sushi was okay and respectable. I don't eat it, but the family ate it and said it was ok. I skipped the fruit. The hot bar is where its at. There is really good options there when I went. The coconut shrimp was by far the best! Its exactly like walnut shrimp from chinese restaurants. There was general or orange chicken which was decent. Others include stir fried string beans, Beef and veggies, crab, salt and pepper frog legs, mussels, pan fried raviolis, sesame balls, spring rolls, cocktail shrimp, edamame, grapes, oranges, mini cakes and more. The food was fresh (obviously since we just got there) and the staff did their best to replenish their food. There is a CONSTANT line, due to the small buffet room but very large dining room. Lots of people came out with 2 plates of food per person as the wait is very long and the food looks so delicious. Most of the food was pretty good and I would say is better than most other asian buffets I've had. I would recommend Feng Shui for GOOD asian buffet food. I would put it in a similar tier as Minado (costs more, but way more food offerings) and Spring Shabu (cost less, hot pot buffet). Pricing for the offerings here at Feng Shui was very reasonable. It would be great if they had a larger buffet room or separated out their offers into different parts of the restaurant. The line gets intimidating fast.
