"I wanted something quick to eat and this place was it! There is no indoor seating and is just a to-go place. I love bahn mi and I ended up getting #3, fancy pork (idk what that means) & pork belly. The sandwich itself was really good and the meats were perfect. I came in the evening and I like that the bread was still fresh and not stale."
"I grabbed food from here while I was visiting Boston and it was probably one of my favorite fast casual food. I just needed something that we could just grab after a long day of walking and this place was perfect. The place is small so it's more of a pickup and eat at home place. The service was great and we were able to watch them make our food right there. I had the bulgogi bowl with a lot of fun add ons. Definitely get a bunch of stuff in your bowl."

"I was craving some boba and this place wasn't too far from my hotel. I'm so sad I was too full to have their food because I would have love to try it."
"They have great waffles that you can customize to your liking and add as many (or few) toppings as you like. Their drinks are also unique and different from other places. The waffles are really good when still hot, but because they are warmish hot, all the toppings end up sliding off the waffle. Also, when the waffles cool down, it ends up tasting extra sweet & at least for me, makes it hard to finish but still yummy. The only real downside to Sweet Waffles + Boba is that they are open three days of the week... Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12-8pm."
"Absolutely loved this place! I came on a weeknight and it was pretty busy, so be warned. They have a decent amount of seating, but since the shop is located in a nice area, you could always take it to go, maybe even to the rose garden nearby. So many fun choices for ice cream. We decided we wanted to try all 4 main flavors so we got swirls for both! Everything was delicious, including the cones. Highly recommend stopping by if you're into matcha or hojicha!"
"Cute and fresh! Inside is clean, nicely decorated with a greenery wall and flower wall (cute photos opps lol). I had the Mix fruit green tea which was a little too sweet for me (next time I'll ask for half sugar) but the flavor overall was great and the fresh fruit (apples, oranges, lime, passion fruit, strawberries, and watermelon) was sweet, ripe, and so good. I would def come back."
"My new favorite cafe the matcha jasmine latte was incredible - what a unique combination. And the fresh mango with the coconut jelly is so light and refreshing. Not too sweet too. I would highly recommend checking this place out. Also the coconut jelly comes in the cutest glass jar"
"A tiny Banh Mi shop located in Watertown. Very happy this place opened. It's convenient for when I want to grab lunch.Their Vietnamese iced coffee is STRONG. Be warned. This is how I had it in Vietnam and it was sooo good. But if you don't like strong coffee, you should opt for another drink. Personally, this is just how I like it.I tried the beef Banh Mi. It was so good. Bread is fresh and the veggies are crisp and refreshing. Had a bit of a spice to it, which was perfect. I think from the peppers on it. The staff is so friendly too. I would highly recommend popping by this gem for take out sandwiches and iced coffee. There is street parking, but main street can get hectic during rush hour. Lunch time is a breeze though."
"What a gem to find. We found parking on the street, which was meter. We did not do hotpot as I know that is what they are famous for. They have a mini ferris wheel where they place your raw items so when you are ready to cook you can spin the wheel. The restaurant is very small. Our favorite dishes were the beef noodle soup, broth was great and beef was thick."
"AMBIENCE: 3/5- We were the only ones there since it had just opened but it played the typical KPop music that most boba places played- Small place with not much seating but boba's meant to be grab-and-go anyway- Cute little picture on the wall of Van Gogh sipping on boba. It made me chuckle hahaSERVICE: 4.5/5- We went right when it opened with one person working who greeted us with a smile. We felt bad as we had to change our order a couple of times since we couldn't decide - you could tell he was a little annoyed but when we apologized he was polite and said not to worry about it- Drinks were made right away so it was quick since we were the only ones there- Wish the drinks could be a bit colder but still a good temperatureFOOD/DRINK: 4.5/5- Grape Fruit Green Tea w/Aloe Jelly: Came in slush form, which the server told us beforehand which is much appreciated. My friend didn't care much but I personally don't like slushie drinks. That being said, this one was pretty bomb. Very grape fruit and tart enough that it gives it a little kick but not too much that I make a face. Like the touch with the grapefruit slice in there - gave it the asthenic I am always looking for haha- Passionfruit Green Tea w/Mango Boba: Solid passionfruit green tea. Can't really go wrong with that combo anywhere. The mango boba was delicious, although I wish they had just slightly better texture just because half of them popped before I could even get them through the straw. I ordered 25% sugar and I'm glad that I did. I don't have much of a sweet tooth and the 25% sugar was sweet enough for me. OVERVIEW: - Would come here again to try other flavors. Grape Fruit Green Tea is pretty solid."

Small hole in the wall.Crispy and delicious fried crispy rolls.Excellent fresh banh mi.Spring rolls are fresh.Venue is insanely dirty, which makes this place the real deal. Hidden gem in Chinatown you don't want to miss. No seating so take it and go. It gets busy.

I mean this as a compliment, but the food here reminds me of a VERY elevated mall food experience. I've had the spicy Korean BBQ pork bowl boxed lunch from here about 2-3 times now and I have still not gotten tired of it. The bbq pork is amazing! It's tender and it's cut into the most perfect bite sized pieces with the perfect grill to it. The gochujang sauce is a key player in this bowl, as it marinates not only the meat but also gives the noodles a bit more flavor. I also really like the fresh and crunchy contrast that the other toppings provide. I think for the price you pay, it's also a good portion size. Typically, leftover food from takeout doesn't do great when heating it up the next day but this is far from the truth when it comes to Lotus test kitchen. I heated it up on a pan and all the flavors were enhanced, with the noodles and chicken getting a glazy texture and flavor to it. I want to try other bowls, but I also love the BBQ bowl too much to take a chance

I didn't try any of the food here, just the tea. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have traditional boba, but I did enjoy whatever chewy bubbles they used as a substitute! The staff was very sweet and was apologetic about the lack of boba available. The flavor of the tea itself was great, which is always my main parameter to judge on.It can be a bit hard to find this place, because it's a bit removed from the main Chinatown strip. However, the space was bigger than I expected, with plenty of seating, so that was great. With all the boba options in the area, this one measures up!

This place is rated so high but I'd still call if underrated. It's a charming boba & waffle place that does both boba and waffles well.I like my milk tea less sweet and more on the tea side, so when I specified less / 25% sugar, the cashier warned me that it'd be bitter. It can be hard nowadays to tell what sweetness level you're going to get since each place has their own standards, so the tip was well appreciated! (And he was right, it was more bitter than I expected but still to my taste). The waffle was amazing - soft, not too dry, a little chewy. We got the Russian roulette flavor, which was basically a mystery waffle, and it was perfect! Sometimes you have to compromise between taste and structural stability, but my friend and I chatted for over an hour, and not only did the waffle not get soggy, but none of the toppings fell off as we split it.The place is half underground, but it's bright and clean inside. There's more seating than you'd expect, a good couple of tables. My friend has been in Boston for 2 years, and after this place, he said he'd be coming back and taking all his friends! Love this place!

Love this place if we are in the area, usually end up having to double park as an actual parking spot seems pretty hard to find but a handful of spots at the beginning of the block. The service is always quick, staff is nice and we tend to lean toward matcha waffle cones with Ube ice cream and different toppings each time. Condensed milk alone when I'm feeling simple or add some fruity cereal or mochi bits when i want some more depth. Very refreshing on a hot day. I couldn't find my photos too many to scroll back thru but will update again if i find them. There's seating inside, bathroom with lock code you can get from the staff and overall clean spot!

Having been introduced to this establishment by a coworker, I had to make a visit here. The interior of PTea is very aesthetically pleasing and suitable for taking photos of their drinks after they grab it. Their puff creme bubble milk tea is one of their specialties and I highly recommend it - it's like drinking a cake in liquid form. Service here is generally quick so you should be in and out in a jiffy. Definitely dropping by again if I want a boba fix in Quincy.IG: Feastcoastoffense

***Updated Review***Today, after dinner, I was craving some refreshing and remembered there is a coconut jelly shop nearby! Last time I visited, I did not have the best experience. Still think their items are pricey but I did enjoy the peach gum coconut jelly & mango sago drink I got today. They have a self order kiosk now, which is great. Also noticed they have a lot more items on their menu. Like durian coconut jelly? I must try next time because I love, love, love durian. All the drinks they offer look very yummy. Glad I gave Oh Ye another try, they're pretty awesome! Note: they do take a pretty long time, to be honest, to make drinks. Ordered at 9:19pm & took about 15 min for a peach gum coconut jelly + mango sago drink. Good place to go if you're not in a rush.

"I cannot say enough amazing things about this place! I was craving sugar cane juice and they delivered. They make it in house right in front of you! I got the OG juice but the strawberry and boba was amazing as well. The owners are Vietnamese and they are so sweet and patient. This place is a fun hangout place, they have a cute backdrop for photos! Must try if you are in Dorchester or just make the trip, I promise it is worth it!"
"Card minimum $15.Amazing food. Got the popcorn chicken and wings and slush drink. All were amazing!Wings are spicy despite not being sauced up.Their popcorn chicken too has a neutral batter taste.Slush is very slush -- like very much an iceeSmall space - no place to eat or restroom."
"I've been to this boba spot twice during my visits. I've gotten lucky and gotten myself some tasty drinks. The Vietnamese coffee is hella strong and sweet, would have liked it less strong. My husband's lychee green tea was super duper sweet, I don't think he adjusted the sweetness. I LOVED the jasmine green milk tea, I swapped out for oat milk, boba was perfect. You can skip the dragonfruit smoothie, my sister said it was way too sweet, too much condensed milk and coconut. Also very expensive boba drinks IMO, like $7-8 before tax and tip... wow! Super nice interior, could totally be a cute hangout spot."
"I like their milk tea and ordered it couple times, taste has not changed. The sweetness is just right and the price is reasonable . The service attitude is good."
"The Alley has finally come to Massachusetts! The Alley is a super popular boba chain with fun drinks. I came during their soft opening so their entire menu was not yet available, but we got their Ube Brown Sugar Deeroica Creme Brulee Milk and the Assam Milk Tea. The service was super friendly and the person taking my order told me the Ube Brown Sugar Deeroica Creme Brulee Milk has been really popular but their favorite that they recommend is the Assam Milk Tea. In my opinion, the Ube drink was quite sweet but tasty. I like the pudding at the bottom, it made the drink unique! If I were to get that again, I'd ask for 50% sweetness. The Assam Milk Tea was quite rich and was perfect at 100% sweetness. The boba was soft as well; it tasted freshly made. The interior of the store is quite pretty and modern. There are a lot of tables and chairs and I can see it as a good study place since there are tons of outlets scattered around the store (especially near the main bench area). Would definitely come back once the store isn't too busy as even during the soft opening, there were so many customers! Since the store is in Quincy Center, expect parking to be tough. There is limited street parking if you don't want to park in the (in my opinion, overpriced) city garage. Otherwise, if you're not driving, The Alley is a few minutes away from the train station and near a bunch of bus stops so it's super accessible."
"Authentic, delicious Taiwanese food! I came here for Sunday lunch and it was quite busy and waited ~40-50minutes for a table. The place is small with only a few tables. Once we were seated, the food came out really hot and quick! Everything we had was really good and portions were reasonable for the price. Popcorn chicken: Got this hot level of spice and it was actually hot which I liked. The fry from the chicken was perfectly light and crispy and sweet and hot from the spice powder. Chicken was juicy. Scallion pancake: This was good, but would have appreciated more beef and scallion inside. Spicy Wonton noodle soup: Soup flavor was very umami and flavorful but didn't feel heavy. It had just enough spice in the soup. Wontons and noodles were al dente. Salt and Pepper Pork chop rice: so yummy! Perfectly flavored and cooked pork chop over rice with some ground pork and broccoli. The broccoli was marinated and cold and was really good too! Lavender milk tea with boba: Perfect amount of lavender flavor to the milk tea. The boba was sweet and chewy. Would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for authentic Taiwanese food!"
"Banh Mi Boba & Me is a small shop serving up a variety of bubble tea milk drinks, fruit teas, smoothies, slushes, lattes. Vietnamese coffee, banh mi sandwiches, spring rolls. and pho soups at fair prices. The place is geared towards takeout which is order at the counter and there are no tables here other than a standing table by the front window. I stopped by here while I was in Stoughton. I ordered a Banh Me BBQ Chicken ($8.99 plus tax) which was made to order in the back kitchen and ready within 5 minutes. Served on a crusty firm sub roll, the banh me had tender pieces of sweet BBQ chicken, cilantro, cucumber slices, shredded pickled carrots, daikon, and red chiles. I really enjoyed this sandwich which had sweet, savory, and very spicy flavors. I will probably get a Banh Mi Classic Cold Cuts and a Taro Bubble Tea on the next stop in here."
"Don't you even think about letting the outside affect your inclination to immediately visit My Thai Vegan Cafe. Located up some questionable stairs on the second floor of a non-descript building in Chinatown, this unassuming vegan establishment is worth MANY visits.-Ambiance: what one would expect for a small, local business that places emphasis on the food, not the extras. That said, very comfy with a great view (because second floor).-Staff: friendly, welcoming, forthcoming with trustworthy recommendations.-Food: yes yes yes. Oh yes. EVERYTHING is vegan. EVERYTHING. As such, one can order vegan shrimp, vegan beef, vegan chicken, vegan duck, vegan pork, vegan veal, tofu, seitan, and bubble tea made with plant based milk. And we did. The steamed dumplings are packed with vegan chicken and veggies, beautifully seasoned, and accompanied by not ONE but TWO delicious dipping sauces. The Pad See Ew Plus (plus means you get multiple vegan proteins - definitely do this) was prepared expertly. I could have used a bit more sauce, but otherwise it was perfect. My dining companion raved about her yellow curry noodle soup; I tried a bite and it took most of my willpower not to steal it from her.-Value: excellent. For delicious, vegan, Thai food in Boston, absolutely worth it.I'm considering making many trips back to Boston with the sole purpose of trying many more dishes. You probably should too."
"I ordered the chicken teriyaki for delivery and was surprised by the large generous portions. Plenty of food for two servings. The chicken was very good and everything arrived hot. For sure would order again from this restaurant."
"Pho Viet's II, the best Vietnamese food spot in the Newton area. Currently, they're only doing takeout orders (no dine-in). Staff prepares the food SUPER quick it's incredible. Took less than 10 minutes for our entire order to be ready. We tried their spring rolls with shrimp + beef, bun bo hue, lemongrass chicken leg rice plate, & lemongrass sliced beef rice plate. Overall, everything was solid and had perfect flavor. I wish that they included slices of white/yellow onions to put in my soup but there was only green scallions. Parking: Plenty of parking (meters) right outside and across the street. Totally recommend coming here if you're in the area and looking for authentic Viet food."
"Some of the freshest crispy chicken put into a sandwich and this is it! The chicken does seriously remind me of the KFC chicken you find in China. It really takes you down a nostalgic memory if you've ever had KFC in China. Overall, the chicken sandiwch is really up there with some of the best I've had!! Just so juicy and crispy on the outside. The barbecue wings were just okay, but the fries were really good - potato-y on the inside and crispy shelled. In addition, I thought the cute cartoon with the moon face and flower in hand was super cute and a nice touch to their bags and packaging. It felt really nice and cute to unwrap my sandwich from a small bag with that cartoon. I will certainly be back often for more chicken sandwiches!!"
"Stopped in for dessert of shaved ice. They have some preset options, I picked #3 with extra pudding, and they made a different one entirely.... With ice cream and strawberries. They have us the red bean once they realized the mistake, no big deal. The coconut drink with mini bubbles and taro was okay this time. Blended too smooth according to my fellow diners as they liked the previous bigger chunks. Still, good for dessert, and street parking for two hours was free and easy to find. Downside was construction made it a pain to drive in the area."
"I ordered from here on a recent trip to Boston. My meal was exactly what I was looking for. If I had a headline for this restaurant I would say, " More a take out place." There are several fried rices on the menu and I ordered one of those. It was A-OK. I had the rice with Taiwan sausage and it tasted like Chinese BBQ Pork. Everyone was very friendly and I received quick service. I would order here again."
"Wow, Coco Leaf has changed a lot, since the last time I've seen them. The newest installations they have are the cute Instagram-esque backdrop with neon lights and the Buddha corner with comfy chairs. -- Totally the vibe. They serve the same amazing food fare that I love and enjoy. I always get the spicy garlic popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries. Both are delicious and not fatty. Their dipping sauces (I believe it's ketchup mayo) are delicious and a must have!"
"I stopped by for a coffee before work and the cups they have are so cute! I got a shakereto with milk in a cat cup! The cup was $1.50 more but 100% worth it!! I will definitely be back for a bear cup as well! The coffee itself was great as well. Nice coffee flavor, not too sweet, and creamy! The service here was great as well! The staff was very patient while I was deciding what to order and very helpful when answering questions."
