"Came on a Sunday night for a party of 3 and there was no wait. Service was friendly and quick. Our server, Christian, was knowledgeable and gave several recommendations based on what we were looking for.The bread for the table was a simple rustic bread with fluffy chewy interior and hard crust. They will ask if you want bread. Two of us shared the Boscaiola which was rich but because it is vegetable based, filling but light. I really enjoyed the creamy mushroom flavor and the peas were a sweet addition. We also shared the Burrata Raviola. I am not very familiar with burrata, but is like a creamier version of mozzarella cheese. There is just the right amount of truffle flavor in the dish.A cute, casual spot for an informal date night or girl's night out."
"I liked the non alcoholic mixed hibiscus drink best. The beers didn't do it for me. And my friends agreed. I would go back to try a small burger. First visit was kinda weird vibes. I'm in my late twenties and the male bartender carded us so hard that he was quizzing us on our friends names. I've never felt that uncomfortable being carded but we also don't look like high schoolers and we're all mid-late twenties so was a bit off vibe wise. The female bartender looked really cool and probably knit her own sweater."

The thick fries were also massive and very good. The oysters were good, but be aware that they are stingy about giving our crackers. Friendly service as well!"
"Brewer's is located on Moody St in Waltham and they have great food! They offer complimentary popcorn and a sampler of beer. The clam chowder was delicious and had the perfect consistency, served with two packets of crackers. For entrees, we had the crispy fried chicken burger and the french onion smash burger, which both came with crispy fries. Everything we ordered and tried was seasoned perfectly and served piping hot. We decided to sit at their outside patio area and our server was super attentive and checked on us frequently. It was overall a lovely meal. Will definitely be coming back soon."
"We were looking for a rooftop bar in Seaport, and stumbled across Deck 12! They're located in the Yotel hotel. The rooftop was actually beautiful and had the perfect views for the vibe we were looking for. There were heaters outside which helped with the cold, and that was super appreciated too! They had tons of drink options - I went with the Just Peachy and it was sooo good! Definitely get this if you enjoy sweeter drinks.Food-wise, we weren't hungry enough to get food but they seemed to have a pretty good selection. Service was quick and our server was super friendly. The only thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was that they were playing the same 3 songs on repeat the entire time we were there lol - but either way a great place for drinks!"
"I dined here with colleagues for lunch. Hoped there was all-you-can eat lunch, but there was not. I got garlic naan and shrimp curry and mango lassi. All good. I liked garlic naan a lot. This is not the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to, but still good."
"They make solid espresso drinks (their mocha in particular is not too sweet), and have an interesting beer selection. Would love to see more seasonal offerings. Not sure what all the recent reviews are about, though- I view their customer service as standard, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either? And LULZ to the person moaning about being lectured for not wearing a mask- actually bro, *you're* the @$$hole for not wanting to wear one, don't get all pissy when people point that fact out to you. Way to be rude AF to your immunocompromised neighbors, young children/parents thereof, and the community in general- it's called *public* health for a reason."
"11/2021Stopped in this tavern since we were in the Boston area. Street/parking lot parking. This tavern had the local game on so many people were here. The decor is cool and the set up is real nice. I enjoyed the local beerThe food was just ok. My friend liked her fish and chips. My nachos were disappointing. It was all overcooked together so when you picked up one chip the entire serving was attached. The appetizer sampler was tasty. If I'm in the area again I'll come back but probably will skip the food"
"Love that they're using local places for their meat substitute! The fake chicken sandwich was great. Poutine was difficult to eat but still good."
"My friend and I came here on a Saturday night for dinner. I had one of the best burgers in recent memory here, and now I'm sad that I don't live in Boston anymore because I would be coming back to this bar all the time if I did. Really great service and we loved the decor."
"If you're looking for a place with good eats, all around country vibes -- I'm talking everything from country music playing (both radio or live) to the entire wood interior, and a solid nightlife scene, Loretta's is your place. This was one of the top college bars back in my hay day and I can assure you that Loretta's delivers. I just went to a concert at the new MGM music hall across the street so we stopped by for a drink and food before it started. Worked out perfectly! We sat outside and could literally see the line build up while I munched on some steamy creamy Mac n cheese topped with some type of paprika spice. Never seen or really tasted anything like it before but hey I'm not complaining. New spin and new taste to my mac and cheese!!The fries were good but nothing special. No biggie. Fries are fries. I got the Front Porch Sweet Tea and it tasted like an elevated Peach flavored Snapple. Pretty good nice! They always have cool live bands playing here so in general would recommend coming here for food or a good time."

They have an outdoor patio in the back that is so cute! Tables are quite wide so I felt very far from my friend beers are solid and service is good. We came on a Wednesday evening and were one of the only parties outside

Said goodbye to a week's visit to New England last week after visiting my sis and then friends, finishing up in Boston. Stayed in Cambridge next to the MIT campus at a neat place in Kendall Square and had an excellent farewell dinner at Row 34, a spot you should check out when you're in the hood. Excellent fresh-as-can-be seafood, with a great selection of oysters, lobster, beers, and the other necessities of life. While the house oysters were briny and glistening, next time I'll follow the server's lead 'cause in a selection of the ones I chose, her recommendations were even better-"Better," as in plumper, sweeter and much more flavorful. My advice? Have the lobster pasta dish. A 5 star dish that's so rich you can share it with your dining partner.

This place is always hopping. The staff is always professional and attentive. The kitchen is run by an amazing chef / owner and his food creations are going to be known far and wide if not already! Bless Chef Took the lady for a quick lunch and sat on the back patio. You always get that nice sample (if you're of age) of some beer on tap and the wait staff always knows the beers that'll match your taste.Nice head to the beer golden ale (not much of an IPA guy) Our burgers were cooked perfectly, the side of fries were crispy just how i like them and well seasoned. The chicken was moist, crispy and the buns were toasted well. We were lucky enough to try some of chef's new creations that i hope will hit the menu very soon, because i think the world should be able to experience them like we were able to.His take on crispy pork with honey siracha was fire the fat melted right in your mouth and flavor reigned supreme.I really loved his salmon sashimi with the special crumble on top i won't mention what it is yet not the sauce but the flavor shined throughout the fresh salmon. Enjoyed that very much.BTT always has plenty of room for parties, wedding receptions, bdays, night out with the squad or dates.Weekends they also have eggs Benedict for brunch which are also delish! Wouldn't hesitate, great crew great atmosphere! You already know I'll be back!

An amazing rooftop/penthouse experience in downtown Boston! It was raining, so we couldn't sit on the rooftop, but we sat on a room that had great rooftop views. Everywhere inside had a view with windows all over, which made it feel as if you were right out on the rooftop. Our reservation was for 6:45 and we got there an hour early, and because it wasn't busy, they sat us right away. I got the sangria to drink, and it was so delicious that I got another one. This is mostly an appetizer/small plate place, so we got the fried calamari and the chicken ranch flatbread. Both were picture perfect and very tasty. I really liked how the calamari was in rings and little octopus form lol. The garlic aioli with it was a must. The flatbread, I could have done without the onions, but it was just what I needed to fill me up. Waitress so was amazing. Highly recommend this spot for an early stop before dinner!

Everything checked my list. Good food, quick service and clean bright dining area. I've been to the old location years ago. It was a quick stop for lunch. Entree comes with rice. Matta paneer tasty and cooked properly. They offer a tag to put on the dashboard of your auto so as not to get ticketed. That's a plus.

I met a friend here once. He and I sat at the window on two stools overlooking the street. He had a bagel and I had something breakfasty, that I don't remember. The coffee was legit and we both talked for two hours, I think...and no one gave us dirty looks. Four stars for the laid back vibe alone. It was nice to feel that we could relax and take that old skool coffee house vibe in at our leisure.I'd say the bagel was pretty average. and the food was good but not knock your socks off, but tasty enough to feel nourished and satisfied.

My last night in Boston, I just wanted something on the lighter side. This restaurant is next to the hotel, so I decided to order the Chicken Ceasar Salad, to go. Placing the order with the hostess was very painless. This restaurant is certainly happening a place after work. This restaurant was very busy. Within a few minutes, I was on my way.The good size salad was a good size and delicious. Check it out and enjoy.
Visit Restaurant Page"This is a bar/restaurant that is attached to the Westin hotel. There is an entrance to it from the hotel lobby. When you walk in from this direction you go into what I guess is the back bar area. They have a nice bar area with tables and some booths and tvs to watch sports. And the front area of the bar has a bigger bar area with some more tvs and plenty of seating. I think there are a few outdoor tables too or only in the warmer months there may be. I did pick up and had a 20.00 voucher card since I was a guest at the hotel. No one told me and it did not say on the card that the voucher could not be used on take out orders. When I asked the guy if there was any possible way he said no but he would call someone, I guess his manager to ask and they also said no. I was pretty bummed. Oh well I guess I can use it next time I am in town. The food was your standard Irish bar/ restaurant type. I did not know what I was in the mood for so, I got mac and cheese with toasted ritz crackers on top, watermelon with feta, cucumber and basil salad and beer battered chicken tenders. The mac and cheese I liked the best. It was a bit cheesy, watery but it still tasted good. The salad had too much feta for my liking, not enough basil and the chicken tenders were very crispy which was fine with me as I think I asked for them to be but a bit too crispy and fried. I did not try anything else or have any drinks here. They have two locations of this place. I have not been to the other one before, but if I had to guess it would be like this one. I will say, it is not like you're missing out in much if you end up not being able to make it here to try this place out. But, if you are in this area of the seaport it's an on spot."
"Overall this place was very cool. The ambiance and music were off the charts. A few things could've been a little better. We had a reservation for my friends birthday dinner at 9 PM, but unfortunately they were unable to seat us at that time. There was a party before us that was still at our table at 9, so we had to wait outside for an extra 15ish minutes for the table to be ready. This was unfortunate because it was a surprise birthday dinner and it could've risked the whole surprise. Due to the small size of the place as well, we couldn't wait inside, so we had to stand in the cold. However when we did get seated, our waiter was great. He managed all 11 of us really well and was very attentive. The food wasn't the greatest I ever had but everyone enjoyed it. They also did apologize for us waiting. They have really cool drink presentations with cannons and strobe lights. My friend got the birthday shot which was super cool and we all split a money shot. This place is expensive but it was a fun night out so it was worth it I think. Definitely make reservations because it's so tiny inside and you won't get seated without one.Overall I enjoyed my experience, I just wish it was a little bigger inside. Hopefully they can open up a new location soon!"
"Bar review only.Cinderella's is a nice spot in Cambridge to grab a good beer. In a town full of breweries, it was nice to see a bar with a variety of hyper local, regionally local and just overall awesome brews. Founder's Kentucky Breakfast Stout was the entire reason we went, so that speaks to overall awesome beers they will carry. It's hard to keep that brew very long so we unfortunately missed it, but had the opportunity to try the Stony Joe by Stony Creek. It was a nice coffee stout substitute. They are worth checking out, especially if you are saying in the Le Meridien hotel nearby or just a local not feeling like going to a brew pub."
"Located in the seaport area, this is a great casual place to share a meal or have drinks with large groups. Fairly broad range of menu items from salads to burgers, poke bowls to tuna tacos- there's bound to be something for everyone. Food is good too- beef burgers are hefty and juicy. Tuna taco app was daintier but delicious, and the roasted Brussels sprouts are my favorite. Service is quick and efficient."
"A small restaurant in Ball square that serves Detroit style pizza. It was quite packed on a Monday night. I've never had Detroit style pizza and it was pretty good. The pizzas came out hot and delicious. The regular/personal pizza is a great size for 1-2 people. I would recommend the pizzas and the togarashi fries. The fries had a nice spicy kick to them. I got the "utica" chicken riggies which was decent, and a great portion. They have a Monday special of unlimited toppings on a regular pizza, and different specials every day. Service was good. There's street parking: two hour parking and metered parking (watch the signs as some spots are permit parking only)."
"I stayed at the hotel and had dinner here with my husband after he arrived late one evening. I love the English pub feel and they have beautiful and elegant furniture (like the rest of this gorgeous hotel). We sat at a quiet table in the corner and our server came over and gave us water and some complimentary chips. I chose one of their mocktail drinks called the Blood Orange Diesel, which consisted of blood orange, rosemary, and grapefruit tonic. VERY good. $10. It was actually really delicious - I loved the ginger/orange flavor. Not too sweet like mocktails tend to be. Noms. On Sunday and Monday from 3-9pm they have $2 oysters so my husband ordered 6 of those and loved them. We settled on their fresh salad as a starter with spinach, pears, candied nuts and vanilla dressing. For entrees we split their tavern burger and the steak frittes. Both served with perfectly cooked French fries - I didn't want to stop eating them... steak was delicious and the burger was VERY good. Great ambiance and a huge specialty cocktail menu - a nice place to come for lite bites and drinks before or after an event. We were impressed and would come again - some sticky toffee pudding and other desserts were available as well."
"We stopped in here because it was hot outside and the sign said "$4.00 beers." Once inside we found out it was only Miller High Life that was $4.00. I had a Sam Adams Summer Ale & my husband had a Guinness. They were both cold and we didn't have to wait long to get served. It was kind of a dive bar, not much atmosphere, and the beers ended up being $9.00 each. (A little overpriced but not unheard of in a touristy area.). I used the bathroom while I was there and it was actually cleaner than I expected. I read some reviews complaining that it was cash only with little signage to warn customers; but we planned to pay with cash anyway, so not a problem. JJ Donovan's was a good place to escape the heat and have a cold beer; but I wouldn't make a special trip to go there."
"The Ave is such a vibe. We came for dinner on a Wednesday night and it was packed. Poppin. In the best way possible (it's important to note that it wasn't slow service because it was packed but more so it was very cool to see a place so busy on a Wednesday full of people of all ages). They also have an outdoor seating option right on comm ave which was also full because it was a beautiful night out! Go figure. :)We got the buffalo wings, waffle fries (a must order) and the nachos. The Buffalo wings were oh so good. Not overboard spicy but also definitely still had a Buffalo wing kick to them. The waffle fries are so good here -- one of my favorite menu items. You can even order them with a cheese and bacon topping too. The nachos were HUGE and sooo filling and loaded with toppings which is a major plus. They also have promo nights on Wednesday's and Thursday's and their kitchen it's open until 1am!! That's hard to come by in Boston. Fabulous spot, friendly stuff, good vibes, good music, this list goes on."
"Five Horses has pub-style dining in Davis Square. The interior has a lively vibe with a buzzing bar area and a close-table dining room. We sat outside at the streetery, which had a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Good food, good drinks, good service. Prices are fair; there was an extra random charge for around $4 for something, maybe a leftover fee from covid dining days, who knows, but frankly it wasn't enough to make a deal over. I would go again on a nice day, inside is probably fun to watch local sports."
"We were wandering around and were going to try Tall Ship but the line was massive so we ended up at Cunard's! We were able to get some seating on the rooftop which was great and it was not super crowded. The staff was all really nice and helpful. We were going just for light apps so we got some beers and oysters. The beers in my opinion were overpriced. It was $9 for a simple draft and that just didn't sit right considering how well priced everything else was. Either way, the oysters were also delicious! We also decided to try the hummus trio and the mixed fries and oh my god they were great. Each of the hummus choices were delicious and savory and the fries were great also. Overall, a really good experience on the rooftop and I bet for a regular meal it also super fun!"
"Yummy yummy Pizza! My friend and I were craving pizza and decided to try this place on a Friday night. The modern decor is very nice! There is plenty of seating for small and big groups. The restaurant has a very nice brick pizza oven that is visible from the seating area. The menu has several appetizers and pizza options. There are also alcoholic beverages and even cocktails to choose from. I decided on getting a cider with my pizza and I think that was a good choice because it went so well with my food. For pizza I ordered the Diablo pizza which was covered with tons of sausage and slices of jalapenos. And I also ordered their margarite since the pizzas are personal thin crust size. The margarite was perfect! The thin crust was nice and crispy and there was tons of melted cheese. Both pizzas tasted great and the waitress was very nice and attentive. I will definitely come back and try their other pizza specialties!"
"I have to say that when I reviewed Naco Taco last it was for take-out for late night tacos, so I had not yet experienced outdoor or indoor seating here. Getting a large group together is inherently difficult, but I was glad that the GM accommodated us for such a busy time (cinco de mayo), and for a group number that ended up fluctuating by a couple at the end. The outdoor patio seating definitely seems more fun and festive- so get seated out there if possible. I let my friends take the lead on the share-ables. Guacamole for both sides of the table, & a pitcher of spicy margaritas was a good call- and we completely finished both. Everyone, for the most part, got tacos. The concise menu helps with deciding. Me and my friend's favorite was the shrimp, which was surprising- I thought the meat tacos were going to be my favorite. The service could have been a little more hands on. People got some additional margaritas and mocktails, and I think that the large order may have led to a little bit of confusion for the waitstaff, but it was no big deal. The only issue my boyfriend was a little frustrated by was how they rushed us out at the end while we were paying and as we were walking out and waiting for a friend to get out of the bathroom."
"This is a late night review. I was meeting a friend for a late caching up session. Well let me tell you the fries and beers made for a great social lubricant! The fries are delicious and you should eat a lot of them. Also buy local beer (just as a general rule). I wish I had been here during regular meal time so I could have tried more food! The only thing that I did not care for was the beer and ice cream combo. It just didn't gel. But I am glad I tried it."
"We walked by this spot on our way back to the hotel. Staff were nice enough and the seafood was fresh and delicious. The snow crab legs were so juicy and tasty. We got a table right by the water and it was just beautiful. Overall I'd say give it a try!"
"Needed a place to meet our Medford-living daughter and our Charlestown-based son for Saturday lunch. LongCross won the assignment and it is likely to be atop the future lunch list for the Medford area. Great, easy parking. A new building and restaurant with lots of windows. Service was very good, seated right away and orders taken for drinks and food at a leisurely but not "they forgot about us" pace. It is Oktoberfest so I tried an Oktoberfest beer, of which there were several, and brats. Delicious. Our daughter got a burger and I admit I ate 1/4 of it and brought the rest home with me. Best burger I have had in a while. Perfectly cooked and good flavor. Nice decor, comfy. High tops, regular seating and bar seating all available. Saw a family with about 5 small kids having an early lunch. All kids had "kid cups with lids" so seems like a kid-friendly place."
"The service was attentive and super friendly. I had a nice chat with some frequent locals at the bar, too. This spot offers up a local pub vibe, which is welcoming. Although my drink was way pricier than I thought it would be ($18 clams for a Manhattan?!l), I will come back again. The food is pub food, so don't expect any fancy pants dishes. I recommend popping in for a beer and quick eats on a night after work to avoid rush hour insanity. They have tables out front for those who want to 'be seen' and a patio area in the back, too!"
