I love ordering take out from Baba Ghannooj they never disappoint!! The food is always tasty, our order is correct and made in a timely manner. The owner and workers here greet you with a smile and are always friendly!! I love to order beef shawarma with a side of French fries. I don't know what brand fries they order, but they are delicious, I could eat them every day!! When you take a bite it's like eating mashed potatoes in French fry form. I order them every time, I can't say enough about them!! Try this asap!!

I just love the food and service here. I've never had a bad meal. Food is high-quality and well prepared. I usually get a falafel wrap and it is always fresh and delicious. I also get a side of hummus, grape leaves, and Syrian bread. They are always fresh and delicious as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Uhhhh gotta say I am pretty disappointed with this place! I'm shocked and confused by the positive reviews. So we decided to pop in because our favorite place to grab Middle Eastern food was closed. I pulled up some nearby suggestions and this spot came up!Walking in, there was a great smell of what I expected to be yummy food. The place also has a sort of grocery store with plenty of neat stuff to buy, ranging from tahini to fig paste, homemade pita chips, hummus by the pound and fresh baklava. So I thought, "Ok, if their falafel, hummus and tahini are any good, I'll buy more in bulk!" since this is what we're normally doing with our go-to place.I ordered a side of six falafel, costing about $6 and it came with two sauces (tahini and hummus was what I chose). Unfortunately, the falafel was BLAND BLAND BLAND. From the picture I took, you can see no green because there were no herbs or spices in the chickpea mix The falafel tasted watery and seemed to have only garlic basically. Then the hummus and tahini were also EXTREMELY runny and just had no flavor. Honestly, I believe there are positive reviews on here because people ordering wraps, filled with a ton of toppings, don't actually realize the taste of the falafel is nonexistent. Perhaps the falafel is so bland because only a mild mix of spices is added into the chickpea mix due to customers not appreciating strong flavors?? Hmmm Or could it be that the place has WAYYYY too many menu items (pizzas, calzones, etc.) so they aren't focusing on producing top quality flavors because they have too much going on (why are they selling Italian food in a Middle Eastern - Syrian I believe - restaurant??)Anyway, I don't mean to be harsh (the service was really friendly!!) but the food was incredibly underwhelming

I used to love this place. Quality of the ingredients is still great. The issue is the price and amount of food given. I understand prices of food have went up. But to pay $13 for a wrap that has a one ounce piece of chicken in it that is the size of a rolled cigar, it's ridiculous. I have been a loyal customer of Tonys for years and I might have just had my last wrap here.

.,.and I say again, much like not judging a book by its cover, do not judge an eating place by its outside (or inside) appearance. My first thought after that first bite of the Chicken Kabob meal was: "Why is there not a line that goes out the door?!" What just happened? it was a heatwave lunch day. After a 2.5-hour meeting that ended close to 12NN, in an unfamiliar area, my first thought was: "Where can I get fast service, inexpensive, yet familiar food?" Never mind the "enjoyable" part. GPS quick recommendations showed an Asian and an American restaurant within 5 minutes. As I was about to turn from the street corner, I saw this spot right across me. Big sign: Baba Ghannooj. Hey! I really like Kabob IF the meat is tender and the rice is flavorful. Sadly, most of my trials lately had produced only disappointing results. It was not really a restaurant inside. It was a quick serve-cum-grocery set up. Counter right by the window facing the street and a few tables. The space occupied by the grocery had minimal shelves and some freezers against the wall. The side with the street-facing counter has a a salad bar behind a sneeze guard, with its back to an open kitchen where you can see the owner preparing orders. About 3 people were inside, including myself, but not as "hopping" as the Asian and American restaurants across the street. Nervous. On the wall, the menu showed pizza(!), shawarmas, kabobs, kabob combo and fries(!). Price ran an average of $9.00. Meals came with "choose-your-own" salad ingredients-- fresh olives, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, etc. wiht a choice of hummus, tahini, garlic sauce. I liked that. With a promise from the owner/cook that the kabob and the rice will not be dry, I ordered. It was a bit warm, one of the ACs is broken and the area suffering the consequence is the dining area. Woe is me. I just wanted to get lunch over with. Waited and dug into my scrumptious side salad creation (garlic sauce dressing, anyone?). Then comes my food. First bite of that kabob and then a forkful of the rice-- flavor explosion. Succulent. Delicious. Amazing! I couldn't believe my taste buds. All of a sudden, it didn't matter anymore that I was sweating. Lunch is enjoyable! So good. I did not even get to take pictures. I was just caught by pleasant surprise. I made sure the owner knew. I sang his food praises. I liked it so much that I ordered what seemed like a flaky crust, pistachio topped "finger" (I usually do not eat dessert!) and also ordered a lamb kabob to bring home to my husband. I shall be back and making sure to tell all of you that this is a little known gem for middle eastern food. Go check it out! Just make sure his AC is fixed!

Baba black sheep, have you any hummus?Yes Fox, yes Fox, but no bags of pita for you.I can't give this little family-owned store/restaurant in rural Massachusetts less than a 5-star because the Baba "Ghannooj" (I've never seen it spelled like that but what do I know) is freaking amazing.Other places make crappy "Babaghanoush" or mediocre "Babaganoush", but when I find a good one, I can swim in it, bathe in it, writhe in it, and... ok that's enough.Basically it's Eggplant dip. It's a lot like Hummus but with a distinct taste and texture of Roasted Eggplant (that's Aubergine to the French and British among you).Service here was nice, and he insisted I try some free desserts, which I wasn't crazy about, but they were free!I didn't like the price of the Baba, and I especially didn't like that I didn't get any pita with it. It was a pita that it worked out that way. Or more of a P.I.T.A.Luckily I had bread from my previous food stops so I was able to thoroughly enjoy it.When it comes to Middle Eastern spreads, this place raises the Ba-ba for Baba "Ghannooj."

Delicious Stumbled upon this little place in a strip mall. Was looking for a decent Lebanese style wrap. This is nice little family business that cooks all of your food to order.Delicious wrapped sandwiches with all of the trimmings. Yogurt sauce, hummus, hot sauce, and some the most delicious garlic sauce I've ever had. The place doesn't look like much but don't be deterred, just walk in and order a sandwich. I think you'll like it. Fresh ingredients, made to order, by good honest people that work hard. Thanks

I drove by Baba Ghannooj a few times and really wanted to try it. I called in an order (I was having trouble adding toppings with the online ordering) for a falafel wrap and a calzone. The man working when I went in was very nice. The falafel wrap ended up being a 10/10! I added feta cheese, tahini, tzatziki, and olives to it. I think it might be my new favorite falafel. My boyfriend really liked his meatball calzone as well. Will definitely be back!! Try it, you won't regret it!
