Joined some friends last night around 7pm for one of their birthdays. We had a party of 16 and took up 2 tables next to each other with 8 at each. This location is much bigger than the Scottsdale location I've been to. The vibe inside is nice and all of the staff members were friendly! They brought out some sort of melon shot for everyone (forgot what it was called). Bit sweet so I gave the rest of mine to a friend. It was much appreciated though, thank you! Unfortunately, there were too many people to get photos of everything. My order:Hawaii Five-ORigatoni Alla VodkaThe Hawaii Five-O cocktail is an ube flavored cocktail. It was good but just a tad too sweet. The bartender was nice enough to re-mix it for me and add more calamansi and lime to it. That made it much better and tasted more refreshing!! My pasta dish was delicious. I kept it simple and didn't add any protein. I wasn't hungry at the time so I picked something that I could box up and eat the next day. I ended up taking the rest of my friend's short rib dish and another's risotto. I hate wasting food lol. The short rib was good. My friend described the dish as tasting very Christmasy due to the spices used in the butternut puree. The risotto was also good but maybe just a tad salty. Not bad. The birthday boy received a pretzel bread pudding at the end of dinner and shared it with the table. That was pretty good! I'll be back again to try some other items next time!

Three stars for the service and atmosphere. We came early on a weeknight and asked or a table for two. Place was 80% empty but they said they were 'fully reserved' and of course still more than half empty when we left but I get some places roll like this so we squeezed in at the bar.Bar service was attentive and friendly throughout. Pretty decent happy hour specials. Really wanted to like the food but unfortunately went 0-3 on what we ordered. Chicken wings were truly terrible. Rubbery skin and gross texture with little flavor. Left uneaten and to be fair they did remove from bill. 'Award winning' burger was ok. Velveeta cheese on a nice onion bun will make anything taste pretty good but the meat was two thin patties that felt overcooked and lacked flavor.Steak frites was not good. Felt like a poor cut of meat honestly for $50. Not that big, chewy and has a small drizzle of chimichurri. Fried were salty to point of being inedible.Would go back for drinks but probably not another meal.

Celebrated my birthday in Born and Bred way!Born and Bred, in the heart of Chandler, is a cozy spot for a pleasant dining experience. The burrata cheese appetizer was gooey, paired with toasted bread that had just the right crunch. The pitted olives were a nice touch, though I'm not usually a fan of olives--except when it comes to olive oil. The arugula provided a nice crisp peppery taste to the dish.A delightful meal is not complete without good wine. We chose a glass of Jeio Prosecco from Veneto, Italy, and a Cote Mas Rosé from France, both of which complemented the meal perfectly. For our entrees, the Rigatoni alla Vodka was rich and satisfying while the swordfish was cooked to perfection. The meal ended on a sweet note with a complimentary key lime dessert, complete with a candle for me to blow out. Our server, who mentioned he is Persian, was friendly and asked if we had everything or needed anything. If there is one thing I could complain about, it's how pricey the Rigatoni alla Vodka became when we added three shrimps--an additional $12 ($4 each), making the dish $36. If not for that, I would have given them a perfect rating.

We came here to celebrate our friend's birthday. The ambiance of this place was modern with an industrial look. Although we came here on a Friday night, the place was not fully packed. We started with a round of cocktails, and I tried their version of Manhattan. The cocktails were better than what I expected. If you are looking for a spirit-forward whiskey cocktail, the riff would be a good choice. My partner and I shared a truffle fries and a bolognese pasta. To be honest, the food we had here was quite disappointing. The truffle fries were the most salty fries I have ever had. None of us could taste the truffle flavor, which made me suspect the chef added double salt instead of the truffle seasoning. The pasta was kind of soupy, which was not what we were hoping to get when we ordered a bolognese. The flavor of pasta tended to be milder than in other restaurants. Although it felt healthy not to eat an overly salty pasta dish, it would have been paired better with drinks if the pasta was a bit more flavorful. What disappointed me the most was how pricey the food was while the delivery was quite the opposite. However, the service here was great and they served us pretty fast.

I wanted to like Born & Bred after going to Aftermath in Phoenix, but I was underwhelmed. We came here for HH and were not very impressed. The chicken wings had nice flavor, but are not as crispy as I would have liked them to be. My husband ordered the burger, which was extremely disappointing. I had heard rave reviews about Aftermath's burger, so I expected this burger to be amazing. It tasted really weird - it tasted charred but looked like a smash burger. It's difficult to describe, but we did not like it. The fries were okay but not great. The oysters were good and I liked the flavor and bread that accompanied it. Other than that and our drinks (no specialty cocktails included for HH), we were not impressed by their HH. We would like to try their breakfast based on our friend's experience, but we will not go back for happy hour. There's many better options in DT Chandler with delicious cocktails and food for HH.

Lovely restaurant located in downtown Chandler with a great ambience and unique menu. We had a reservations for 7:30 PM on a Friday evening, but we were late by about 30 minutes and they were still able to seat us. The staff was very nice and friendly and the location was super busy but they seem to be keeping up with the demand. The restaurant was very nice and clean and tidy, and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu.

Nice place in the heart of downtown Chandler AZ.I did like this place, but only really have one complaint. I'll start with that. The vodka pasta was just a pasta dish, but you had an option to add on shrimp, chicken, etc. The pasta without the shrimp was $24 and the shrimp was an extra $12 on top. They gave 3 pieces of shrimp for $12. That doesn't sit well to me. That's a $36 dish with 3 pieces of shrimp. The other dish was swordfish which I liked. The burrata was a good appetizer. Just think about it..... this place could have gotten 5 stars. Maybe they should review their practices.

We very much enjoyed this place! The ambiance is more chill than I originally imagined when looking at the menu- rock music and sort of cool, casual isn't quite the right word but definitely not ~fancy~. We started with the oysters and they were huge! The ponzu on top is really delicious. I ordered the scallops and risotto- cooked perfectly! It was super yummy and more than enough food. I was full by digging into the third scallop but wanted to eat it all since it was cooked to perfection. The pickled gave a nice little burst of acid. There were too many of them in the risotto imo, but delicious nonetheless. My husband got the swordfish and it was also amazing - the polenta situation it comes with was really good with the green chile!Service was great- Kyle was on top of it! The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is I'm still thrown off by the menu not matching the fun/cool atmosphere. But we enjoyed ourselves! We would probably go back for brunch- the burger looks good!

I'm so happy this little gem opened up in the neighborhood. The menu is on the smaller side but has a nice variety. It has been open for 5 weeks and we hope to make this a regular spot since it is walkable from our neighborhood. We were greeted by the host who was pleasant and decided to dine at the bar. Sal the bartender was very knowledgeable about the food, friendly and attentive. Beverages were good. It was nice to have a Cabernet served at the proper temperature versus coming straight from a cold wine fridge. We started with the burrata which was not only delicious but a beautiful plate.Enjoyed the pork bolognese which was very tasty and the pasta was cooked al dente which is the way we like it. Kudos to chef for making pasta properly. The pepperoni pizza could use some work. Outside crust was crispy but the rest was soggy. The flavor was almost there. We prefer a more crispy wood-fired pizza. Give this place a try!
