The cakes are incredibly dense and delicious but way too pricey and sweet. I love their guava and cheese items but I found places to purchase the same taste for a lot less. If you can spare the extra cash in this economy, I say try them out; they are very tasty.

It hurts because I really wanted to love this place. It's super cute and the concept of it is amazing. However I was greeted very rudely when walking in. The place wasn't even busy I was the only one in there. The pack of four cupcakes is very expensive and I did not like any of them. They aren't moist as the claim to be and aren't sweet at all. It's supposed to be a treat, don't be afraid to make them a little sweet.The one thing I did like that ain't pictured here is the coquito coffee. It was more in the sweeter side tho and wish it would be taken down a notch because it doesn't taste anything like coffee. If I ever decide to give this place another shot it would be just for the coffee.

This was a treat. I found this bakery on IG and it looked so adorable that I wanted to take my tween to give it a try. I was in the area Sunday and decided to pop in.Super welcoming and friendly service. They seemed so appreciative to have my business before I even picked what I wanted which was a plus. I will be back often!I ordered 4 cupcakes: Coquito Cupcake - the coconut, icing and cake together were a lovely sweet mix.Piña Colada Cupcake - my favorite of the four that I bought! The icing was the perfect amount of sweet with the cake that was slightly soaked. The cherry on top gave it a nice complete finish. So yummy.Guava Dream - the perfect fruit like cupcake. The icing and cake makes each bite of this taste like ice cream for some reason sooooo delicious!!Dulce De Leche Cupcake - my second favorite! Love the concept behind this place in terms of flavors and Puerto Rican influence. Cupcakes are very cute and colorful, however, the container makes it very hard to eat. You probably need a spoon so it doesn't get too messy, so a little inconvenient there. The consistency of the cupcakes were a little grainy but overall, I liked the flavors and the fillings were excellent; coquito and guava were great. The coco parcha was a little sweet for my taste. The shop itself makes a great addition to Humboldt park and I would love to see some tweaks with cake base recipe and containers.

Didn't really know what to expect. Walked in about 15 minutes before closing. Still had a wide variety, service was good.I bought anything Guava they had to offer and it was amazing. The flavor was to be just good, cakes were so moist. Will definitely go again.

Cupcakes were okay. Personally wouldn't go back. Just as constructive criticism and a customer, it just wasn't that the idea or hit the taste buds of what I expected when it came to Puerto Rican pastries. I grew up with Puerto Rican food and Puerto Rican pastries (home made and store bought) and this was just OK not anything to be excited about. The presentation is beautiful, the location is so trendy and adorable. I do also agree with other reviews that it's way too pricey for the unsatisfying and over sugar taste. Service was super welcoming. Wish I can give a better review but I really wholeheartedly feel honesty is better when it comes to reviews.
