Stopped in at Border X Brewing in Bario Logan San Diego for a quick beer and I was pleasantly pleased with the beer, brewery, and service. I only had the Hazy IPA and it was really smooth and delicious, I bought a 32 Oz can to go as well. There are lots of different options and no issue ordering flights so you get to try everything. The brewery is a pretty big space with a lot of seating as well as a nice outside patio. They sell food as well but I came too early and the food wasn't ready. I like the seating along the street, nice to people watch. The service was really good. They will let you sample beer if you want to try something. Overall, I had a great experience at Border X Brewery, and I can't wait to come back and try something else.

I stopped by on a saturday to see a live show here. The spot is pretty nice. I got a michelada which was super delicious :) The spot is pretty nice inside with plenty of drink options.adding that my review is 4/5 stars cause the bathroom was gross.

Great spot to try a variety of Mexican-inspired beers! Love the different options, and of course they have micheladas. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and even food vendors so you can grab some tacos with your beer. They do music and other events here too, so come check this place out!

Small and popular. Drinks and Tacos were a little pricy and yet, all was good. Service was fast and courteous. Worth a visit!

Happened to be in Barrio Logan so had to grab some tacos, luckily I found a spot with brews and tacos. I had cool grungy vibes inside. The bartender wasn't the friendliest when I went up to order and asked about the menu. He seemed to busy talking to another worker, which was disappointing as a first time guest. I asked where the tacos were and how to get them. However, he seemed annoyed at any question. The tacos are stationed on the back patio and are being made right in front of you - Mexico street taco style. The tacos were juicy and delicious, for being a Thursday afternoon the back patio had quite a few people. It took a long time to get three tacos, but they were worth it. Would come back for the tacos but the service made it lackluster so probably won't go out of my way to stop by.

Really cool brewery! The decor inside was really fun. The bartender was very nice and made good recommendations. Not a very extensive beer list. I got the Horchata golden ale, it was good. My friend got the pepino sour michelada which she said was so good she's come back just for it. Nice outdoor area that serves tacos. Cool spot!

First time visitor from NorCal & I already can't wait to come back! Stopped by on a Tuesday, Loteria night & I had a blast. I enjoyed the tacos, beer, music, and of course the Loteria! There were also small business vendors with a lot of awesome stuff, I came back home with a very heavy suitcase thanks to the awesome artists there. Definitely recommend stopping by, especially on a Tuesday night.

This review is based on the tacos, served outside on patio on the Sunday weekend of Cinco de mayo. They were mini tacos, tasty. Got carne asada and pork adobada.Outdoor seating is plentiful. Lots of benches with shade tarp coverings. Good vibe.Inside the bar and dining area has a bunch of Mexican art decor.

I went to this brewery a few weeks ago to check out a Morrissey cover band called "Still Ill". It was my first time at Border X. I am mot a beer drinker so I don't go to breweries unless there is an event. This review is more based on the atmosphere and experience, as I cannot judge the beer. Per usual, when I go to a brewery, I look for the "non-beer" drinks. I chose the watermelon chammy seltzer. I'm actually not a big seltzer fan either, but I appreciated the salty sweet flavors and the cup decked out with chamoy and lime. I also tried the "tequila" shot which appeared to be made of some sort of soju. They also decked out the glass so it looked cute.Aside from the drinks, I really liked the venue. It was a warm, friendly environment. At first, it seemed overcrowded, but we found a good vantage point to check out the band. We got to chat with some of the other patrons who were positive and outgoing. I think as long as the crowd isn't too big, it is a great venue, but could be prone to overcrowding. All in all, I felt very welcomed there and had a great time.

Went for their steak and live music Thursday nights. I think they either forgot or gave our order to the wrong table. I saw several tables sit after us get their meal way before us. The server tried to give us the wrong order meant for a different table. So after waiting almost near 2 hours, we finally got our meal after being told it was taking a while to cook because the steaks are thick, only to have received pretty cold meals. So all in all, it's a pretty good deal since the meal comes with your alcoholic beverage of choice and the steak is indeed thick. But I'm not sure I'd do it again after that experience.
