I celebrated my birthday here and I had a really great experience. Not only did I leave with a free dessert, but because I chose to celebrate my birthday there I also left with two coupons for two free desserts. We also played a traditional Spanish drinking game ran by our server. We would have to drink as much wine as we could from a glass that was shaped almost like a tea kettle. Our server was SO friendly and very knowledgeable about allergies. She was able to list what I could and could not eat off the top of her head from memory. We got the roasted chicken which was some of the most juicy chicken I've had in my life. We also got the shrimp which was a 10/10. The jamon was perfect and the margaritas were amazing! The octopus was my favorite, and they were on top of potatoes and a squeeze of lemon. So good. I can't wait to come back!

We had dinner at Boqueria Seaport during our recent visit to Boston. Conveniently located next to our hotel, we decided to give it a try even though we didn't have a reservation. Upon arrival, the hostess informed us right away that we needed to be finished by 8 pm due to a subsequent reservation. It was the first time we'd ever been told so directly when we needed to be done with our meal, which felt a bit abrupt. The restaurant's chic and elegant decor added to the ambiance, and fortunately, it wasn't crowded when we arrived, so we were seated promptly. Our server was friendly and attentive, and she helped smooth over the initial awkwardness with her excellent service. We ordered several tapas and drinks. The patatas bravas, pan con tomate, albóndigas, and croquetas de jamón were all hits with my kids and me. However, the tortilla española fell flat--it was crumbly and really needed more salt. We also tried the picanha a la parrilla, which was cooked perfectly but again lacked seasoning, and the seafood paella, which was unfortunately just average. For dessert, we had the churros with dulce de leche, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed--a sweet end to an otherwise mixed experience.

Took my girlfriend out to this restaurant to try for the first timeFood 10/10; all tapas were fuego, didn't expect biodynamic organic wine, that was a huge plusService 12/10: don't want to be served by anyone else besides Nathan, glad we were able to share the evening with him, he mad our night that much more enjoyable.Ambiance: great atmosphere, solid music if you're into r&b throwbacks hahaWill be back soon, dope spot to bring a date to sit at the bar or a bigger group for the back area.

I had an unexpectedly fantastic meal at Boqueria. The general decor and vibe was great - you can actually have a conversation inside! Everything my group ordered, I was really surprised (in a good way). The patatas bravas were incredible, the potatoes were smashed and super crispy. Great balance between potato flavor, tomato sauce, aioli, and crispiness.Another hit was the mussels, the sauce was amazing - thankfully they serve it with bread so you can dip it in afterwards. Just as good was the paella de mariscos, the rice was super flavorful and so was the seafood.Knocking off a single star because the fish in the paella was overcooked and the shrimp was bland but also super oily.

Torn on writing a review today. I went to Boqueria 4 months ago, and it was AMAZING. I returned last week, and the menu is changed and the food was just not executed properly. The first time I went, we sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the bartender- he was sweet and friendly, and made our experience great. Wherever you sit in the restaurant, it has a cool ambiance with the lighting and the furniture and decor. That first time we ordered a cheese and meat board (which was WONDERFUL, compared to the second time when we had to scavenge through the plate to find 3 tinyyyy pieces of cheese). The pan con tomato (tomato bread) was one of the best parts of the board. We also ordered the bacon wrapped dates, patatas bravas, mushroom croquettes, and lamb skewers. Everything the first visit was cooked to perfection, and packed with flavor. I couldn't even pick a favorite dish because I enjoyed them all. The second visit, ordered the same tapas, and they were all poor presentation, sloppily plated, and not seasoned or cooked well. The second visit our friend also ordered French toast; they incorrectly brought us avocado toast after 40 minutes (LAST thing to come out), and then brought us french toast another 40 minutes after that. We had to inquire about where his meal was several times. Also ordered the picanha the last time, which was tough and overcooked, and did not pair well with the carrot puree it sat on top of. Huge disappointment and embarrassed to have brought friends here.Note: photos were ALL from the first visit. The food did not have that perfect presentation on the second visit.

Boqueria was SOOOO good and was one of the highlights of my Boston trip! I love how perfectly portioned all of the tapas were - we had a large party of about 10 people and it was the perfect spot for us.Some highlights:+ Patatas Bravas ($13): SO good that we ordered another round after finishing the first lol. The potatoes were super crisp and the garlic aioli was addicting!+ Croquetas de Setas ($9): I love mushrooms and these croquettes were the best! Super crisp and the mushrooms were rich in flavor+ Jamon Iberico de Bellota ($34): A must get! It seemed to be one of their more popular items (hence the star next to it on the menu lol). The ham was packed with flavor! Our server was kind and super accommodating to our group. Try the white peach sangria!

This was my first time coming here and the menu definitely reminded me of Barcelona (one of my favorite tapas spots in Boston). We ordered the pastas bravas, ham and cheese croquets, the flatbread, and meatballs. Weirdly all of it kindve felt like it had been sitting out for a little before it was served to us or something. The flavors were lacking and it just didn't taste too fresh. Very crunchy and not really juicy at all. I ordered a Dirty Shirley (what am I 16? No. It's the best drink. You heard it here first) and it tasted like fruit juice. I don't think there was any alcohol or grenadine in it. Unfortunately, it just didn't taste like a Shirley Temple The ambiance is nice and it's walkable to a ton of things you can do in Seaport!

Came here with my bestie for dinner. We started with a few tapas, my favorite was the patatas bravas, it was literally a crispy fried potato with this amazing salsa and garlic aioli drizzle. The rice in the paella was so good, with tons of seafood flavor. Brussels sprouts were ok, and tasted slightly burnt. The shrimp and octopus were both ok, I would pass on these two next time. The paella was amazing, loaded with seafood but the rice was the best part. I would definitely get this and the patatas bravas again. Staff was friendly and provided food recommendations. The interior was classy and a nice sit down restaurant.

Had a ton of tapas while enjoying the night out with friends. Delicious and very good service that warned us how long paella would be and made sure we were attended to while waiting. Busy weekday evening but not too loud
