I found out about boondocks recently. It's cool they are the only privately owned restaurant and bar in Scottsdale. Tried the duck fat French fries and they were amazing!! Staff is awesome and accommodating and they ensure a safe environment for their patrons so everyone can have a good time. If you haven't checked them out you should !

First time at Boondocks for a weekday happy hour business event. Sports bar with a patio. Located on a back street with ample street parking. Appetizers were tasty. Was happy they had Corona Free (NA).

Great atmosphere on a Sunday! Lots of TVs for sports, photo booths, billiards, pop shot, etc. Spacious outdoor patio as well. Chicken fingers were surprisingly delicious. Some of the best I've had in Old Town. Would come back for snack, beers, and sports anytime.

The bouncers here think they work in a high security prison...we walked in and not even 45 seconds later one of the men manhandled my female friend for standing "in the way of the service station" after asking her to move and her trying to explain she was friends with the mgr and that's exactly where the manager told us to stand...will never spend a dime there...Do better! Seems like they do t care bc they have a line outside the door but pay attention to actual issues instead of creating them yourselves....

The Margarita was the best I've ever had!!! I was asked if I wanted a pouch and said no. I ended up having another! I should have gotten the pouch! I mean the right amount of tang and tart. We ordered some garlic fries and pretzels with cheese. Tasty. The people watching was the best. We were on town visiting and this place was suggested. When we walked in we felt out of place. The place was jumping with the music and all the young folks(people our kids ages). We laughed and called ourselves cougars from Minnesota. Lol. After a few margaritas we were really enjoying ourselves. Great music!

Henry made this experience the best it could be. Granted it was a slow night we ended up stopping by for a drink. He was hospitable and everything boondocks needs. Absolutely sweet and making these girls feel safe and welcome. Shoutout for squishy the bar back as well. Awesome all around and highly recommend 10/10
