Bongiorno Bagels

If you're reading this, you've officially uncovered my guilty pleasure: Bongiorno Bagels. Honestly, I hesitated to write this review because, well, I'm selfish, and I don't want the secret getting out! But here we are.These are, hands down, the best bagels I've ever had. They're the kind of bagels that make you think, "This is what all other bagels aspire to be." Perfectly chewy, with a golden crust and flavors that make you want to eat one, or five, in one sitting . Customer service is awesome. The staff here is as warm and delightful as the bagels themselves. They somehow make the whole experience even better. And yes, sometimes the line can stretch a bit, but let me assure you--it's 100% worth the wait. In fact, it's a testament to just how good this place is.So if you decide to stop by, don't blame me if you become a regular.

I'm lucky this spot is far from me because I would be here often! lol stopped in on a Sunday morning and the line was wrapped around outside. The line moved pretty quick and I had time to decide what to get. Service was quick and efficient in their order taking process. I grabbed an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and a raspberry coffee cake. The bagel had a crisp outside and chewy middle. The veggie cream cheese was loaded with fresh vegetables. It was a fantastic bagel! The raspberry coffee cake was so fresh and I normally don't really like coffee cake but waiting in line I kept looking at it so figured if I didn't like it my teens would dispose of. It was freshly baked and the raspberry was so good with it. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm on the east side of town and grab more bagels and cream cheese to go!

5 star best bagels in the area!! I just went to NYC and this place compares and outshined a few places. Go enjoy anything on the menu, I prefer the Mariano. Go early to get the bagels you want!!The service is always great, very busy but worth the wait for freshness.

I enjoyed Bongiorno Bagels a hole lot! These bagels are legit. I visited on a Saturday morning and not surprisingly, the store was packed. I made several attempts to place an order over the phone on my way to the store but their line busy. The line as well as the staff moved pretty quickly. Their team was friendly and thorough.I've tried their egg and cheese sandwich on a gluten-free bagel as well as a few non-gluten-free bagels. Though having a gluten-free option is fantastic, I very much prefer their traditional bagels. The everything, cinnamon raisin, and jalapeño cheddar were among the bagels I've tried. All three were excellent and paired well with their cream cheese! I will definitely be back.

Listen my YELPies... IYKYK! THIS bagel right here!! Yo, the BEST bagel in AZ you will ever have! By now, I am sure all the New Yorkers in town know to stop here! The service is top notch and always with a certain attitude (you know... that East Coast vibe). The taste of the bagel is amazing (something about that NEW YORK water) and if you make it a sandwich, it's made to order! It's a cute little spot and you could choose to eat inside with a coffee- when it's not busy (I've never been here when it's not busy). Busy or not, this is a spot that my wife and I frequent cause the QUEENS in her won't allow us not to frequent. My YELPies, if you do nothing else, stop on in here and have the BAGEL experience of your life!

This bagel spot is totally worth it as a dine in or take out place. There are so many options to customize including the cream cheese and the bagels it's self. The bagels are very filling for a full meal. I didn't get to try the sandwiches but those seemed to be very popular among customers. On the day I visited the line was out the door, but the line moved quick. There are not a ton of options when it comes to seating.

Stopped in for a bagel and cream cheese since I had heard that this place makes true NY style bagels. At first glance, this bagel shop sits at the end of a strip mall on the northeast corner of Pecos and Gilbert and can easily be missed. After stepping inside, the smell was amazing and the hustle and bustle of the gentleman at the counter taking orders and guests waiting was like a time travel back east. They have bagels, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, coffee cakes and black and white cookies. They also use Boar's Head meats and cheeses. I opted for my favorite egg bagel toasted w chive (scallion) cream cheese. My bagel was soft, light and fluffy inside and had a crisp traditional leathery outside; can you say delicious. The cream cheese was good and you get more than enough to spare. All in all this place is awesome and I highly recommend. On a side note, they are only open Thursday -Sunday and close at 2pm.

Worth the wait.Craving The Bongiorno after church on a Sunday and the line was out the door! I'm not surprised though because this place is a home run every time. Maybe one day I will try another sandwich on their menu but you can't go wrong with the Bongiorno, so if it ain't broke don't fix it, right?? Lol.

Bongiorno bagels is no joke. They produce true NY quality bagels. The bacon egg and cheese is the best I've had since moving to Arizona! The ratio of egg to cheese to bacon to bagel was perfect. I would recommend if your inpatient and running behind schedule to order ahead as the line went out the door on a Friday morning. But the employees were great and kept it moving! Will be back, so worth the 20 min drive.

Great New York bagels. Thank god there's a long island Bagel place in Gilbert for all us New Yorkers here
