Boney's Bayside Market

This is a fabulous place to pick-up fresh oranic foods, and a bite to eat for lunch. I'd just like to see some fresh hot coffee by Kean Coffee in Tustin, CA.

They really need to hire new deli staff. Sandwiches are very good but takes like 30 minutes to get a sandwich bc the staff moves so slow like they're moving through molasses. It's actually comical to watch if I wasn't hangry. A lot of times they refuse phone orders bc they're so "busy" If you ask from something from the case they will just mind their business like you're invisible when they can obviously see you.Cashiers have been nice. Just dk whats the deal w deli people.

Another review of the poor performance at the deli. Went to Boney's to get two sandwiches before a small concert at the Coronado Landing. There were three people in line to order at 1pm on Saturday. After placing our order we browsed the store bought a few other items for 15 mins. No sandwiches ready yet. After another 15 mins asked again and still not ready, and were told only three more orders in front of us. After another 30 mins we finally received our order. It would have been nice to know this extremely long hour long wait for a sandwich when we placed our order....duhhh!! When we finally sat down to eat our sandwiches there was no avocado that we paid extra for, really!! While waiting for our sandwiches I never seen a work crew work so slowly. Pitiful!! The sandwiches were pretty good and the staff was friendly. Management needs to do something about this situation or no one will have the time to get a sandwich here.

GET THE SANDWICHES HERE IF ITS THE LAST THING YOU DO! So delicious and fresh made. So much flavor and all on fresh focaccia bread. Pricing is so fair, around $10 for a massive sandwich. I always get the Baja turkey and add mustard. If they have the elote corn dip in the refrigerator section I highly recommend purchasing but beware it is spicy. Sometimes the wait for the sandwiches can be a while but totally worth it. Good tip is to walk to the park at the end of the street to eat your sandwich

Who would've thought there would be such a good smoothie place inside a market?!So here's an interesting thing: It's inside a market, yet they ran out of apple juice and couldn't replenish it?? You would think they could just walk over to the juice aisle and grabbed a bottle! How hard would that be?! The man at the smoothie service counter was rather rude, but the smoothie was good. The cookies were really good too! Would I go out of my way to come back? Probably not...

Amazing store has organic gluten-free. Lots of choices the best food I found in a while traveling.

How hard is it to make a sandwich? These people take foreverrrrr to prep sandwich's. If you must order here order ahead by 30 minutes and expect to still wait.

Excellent selection of groceries and fresh foods. Very reasonable prices for a specialty market. I enjoyed their fresh mozzarella cheese balls and peppadew peppers. Both made for a great night time snack!

Very good selections for lunch at the Deli! The island Baja is perfect for someone who wants to taste a mouthful of veggies and turkey, with a little bit of heat! Bread goes great with it and soup of the day will make a nice side.

Boneys deli counter consistently has the worst service. I ordered a pound of sliced meat and had to wait 30 minutes while 7 people hung out behind the counter and there were few customers as it was Sunday morning. This isn't a one-off... next time I'll just go to Vons.
