I came here for fuel not expecting to actually enjoy the food. Holy Moly we had the buratta and the lemon recota. The burata is the best Italian pizza I've had since Venice in 2019.Mind you its just their version of margherita. It's a thin crust with dollops of burata in tomato sauce and basil. Amazing!

I feel like God has a preference for certain foods - avocados and cashews, for example. I am certain God's favorite pizza is Bonci. Bonci is to pizza what Michelangelo was to art.

Love the service. Love the outdoor seating area with grass and a little honey feel. It is away from the busy street. The pizza is great and has a lot of unique options. Pizza is by the weight. There are places to park on the side street and they heat it up for you to go. I would definitely recommend the potato, pesto, zucchini, mushroom, and eggplant.

Such a treat Bonci is one of our favorite pizza spots in Chicago. They have a variety of savory flavors and even better ones for breakfast too. My personal favorite is the potato mozzarella.Parking at this location is very difficult because of the blocked off construction on Wolcott. Allow extra time for parking in this area. We waited for a spot to open out back.

Bonci, a personal favorite despite not every pizza hitting the mark for me, offers a unique pizza experience. Their ever-changing selection ensures a diverse range of options throughout the day. At the same time, the burrata basil and lemon ricotta zucchini, cacao e Pepe, and spicy eggplant are my favorites with their incredible flavors! One thing that keeps me hooked is their rotating pizza menu, ensuring a variety of choices every visit. Although some slices like the arugula burrata, margarita, and four cheese aren't my favorite, they have many options! They've got this excellent setup where they offer up a bunch of different pizzas, then they slice them up to whatever size you're feeling and warm it up just before they serve it. It's like a pizza paradise where you can try a little bit of everything without committing to a whole pie. The ambiance leans more towards takeout, but they do offer limited seating for a dine-in experience. The service is also fantastic - they are super friendly! I'm excited to keep coming back to Bonci, exploring their ever-changing array of pizzas, and discovering new favorites.

Unique Roman style pizza is great. The sausage with the big meatball bites on it is phenomenal. Very nice vibes and quick service, you really can't go wrong here.

My new favorite pizza place! It's vegetarian and meat friendly. There's even a pizza dedicated to vegans. The space is such a great neighborhood spot for anyone who lives close by. It's also easy to find parking if you drive over. The inside of the space isn't too big but there's a lot of stools to sit on inside the shop and then there's the option to sit in their enclosed outdoor patio area. All the workers are so kind and genuinely so happy to be there. The way that it works with the pizza is you pick you pizza and you tell them how big of a slice you want. Then they weigh the slice to give you a price. I got the margarita Burrata and the spicy eggplant. My goodness. The dough was perfection. The slices were crisp on the bottom yet so soft on top. The flavors all went well together. There was just enough sauce. Ahhh just so yummy!Tip: they do have different locations. I believe the one in west loop/west town is larger.

Really cool idea of paying by the oz of pizza. A little overpriced, but the pizza was really good. My favorites were the Meatball because the red sauce was really good, and the prosciutto which had really yummy cheese and rosemary. The pepperoni was a good, classic pepperoni. The sausage and mushroom was good, too, but I got a few bites that were a little light on meat/mushroom - probably because it was a corner.

I had an absolute blast at this pizza joint! It's like stepping into a pizzeria straight out of Rome, with soccer club decor giving it an authentic Roman touch. What sets this place apart is that you can order pizza by weight, which means you get to try multiple delicious kinds in smaller portions. Talk about a flavor adventure! And the pizza? Oh my taste buds were dancing with delight! The chicken parm and regular sausage slices were a total knockout. They reheat it in the oven, so it tastes as fresh as it looks. They've got this coconut lemonade drink that's unlike anything I've had before. It's the perfect pairing to the amazing pizza. I'll definitely be coming back for more pizza and that unique drink!

The first time I tried Bonci was during covid at one of their other locations. Instantly fell in love and unfortunately haven't been back since. I like to try new places every time, so it hard for me to repeat. But I'm really glad they opened up this location on the north side. It's such a convenient location. The staff here was great as well. They're all assigned to specific stations and have a nice quick flow going. Most importantly the pizza is just as delicious as I remember. The guy in front of me took just about all they had though. Luckily there was still some decent stuff to choose from. I ended up ordering their Cacio Pepe, Burrata & Basil, lemon ricotta zucchini, margarita and pepperoni. My favorites were the Burrata & basil and their pepperoni. My least favorites were the cacio Pepe and their margarita. I like basil and olive oil on my margarita. This one tasted like a plain cheese pizza. The cacio Pepe had onions underneath the cheese, and I hate onions on my pizza. The pepperoni was delicious. It was covered with pepperoni. It was a little spicy and the crust was perfect. The Burrata and basil was so flavorful. I didn't have my pizzas heater before I took them home which melted the Burrata away. Next time I come in I will tell them not to heat the Burrata & basil pizza. I will for sure not wait another two years before returning here. You will definitely see me coming more often. Hopefully they have other options to choose from.
