I just found out that this branch is the only one that offers MEALS. Meaning whatever you order, just make it a meal and it will come sides and drinks. But other branches dont do this. Service is always great. Especially when Zach is there! The dining area is a bit smaller, limited number of seating. But still ok. This is one of our regular place to go on Monday nights because they are open later than most places. They will be open later on weekends so it would be good for late night snackin!Korean donuts is a MUST TRY!Happy eating!!!!

A few months ago my wife brought home carry-out with different sauces. First, I LOVED the chicken! Yesterday, my family and I drove 25 minutes out of our way to have a meal at the same location. Upon arriving, I asked the gentleman behind the counter if I could please get a small taste of the sauces as there was one I did not care for in my prior carry-out order. I explained that I wanted just a drop so I could make sure I didn't order the wrong one. The gentleman told me that the owner does not allow "tasting". I explained that I didn't want a sample piece of chicken... just a drop of the sauces. He told me again the owner does NOT allow this. I asked if the owner was present and was told "no". At this point, I didn't want to waste my money on taking the risk I would pick the wrong sauce, so my family and I walked out, unfed and unhappy, and went to another chicken joint up the road. Hard to believe the franchise owner would lose a customer over a condement. This was simply an embarrassment to the brand. The place was near empty during a time when there should have been a dinner rush. The parking lot was nearly empty. The place was not particularly clean. Based on the YELP reviews, it looks like I'm not the first person with issues here. I was in the industry a few years back, and this "policy" makes no sense. This owner should not be in the restaurant business.

Every chain restaurant has a bad location. You have found the baddie for Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken wings. The chicken was unappealing and overcooked. They charge you for ranch dressing. Everyone know that wings should come with ranch, carrot and celery sticks. Not here. The coleslaw tasted wilted and bland. The restaurant cramped, dirty, messy, and and had really bad feung shuei. Not welcoming at all. We ate quickly and vowed never to return to this location. (Glenview on Milwaukee Ave is much better)

Korean fried chicken is cooked to perfection. I got the soy garlic and it was very crunchy. The sauce is sweet and salty, with the hint of garlic, very savory. I also ordered Japchae, which is Korean glass noodles, with meat and vegetables. It was very good with the right amount of grease. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Chicken was served moderately quick. Employees will answer your questions if you don't know what the item is. Super Bowl worthy wings!

Fantastic service, friendly and kind. Incredible fried chicken, bulgogi japchae and bulgogi fries. This is the only halal location of bonchon. The chicken wings and legs were alarmingly huge in size, but I'm not complaining!

It was my first visit to Bonchon, and I was already searching for the nearest location to visit again! My friend and I ordered the Chicken and Bulgogi Korean Tacos, prepared with garlic soy. The tacos were so good and refreshing, topped with lettuce, coleslaw, buttermilk ranch, spicy mayo, and red onions. Next time, I'll ask for no red onions since I'm not a fan. The food is made to order, so we were mindful that it might take a little longer than regular fast food. We also ordered a small Korean corn, but it wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped. As a huge elotes fan, I was hoping to love this equally as much.

Crunch! Crunch! Delicious! We tried Korean Fried Chicken for the first time at Bonchon. This is the only zabiha halal location in Chicagoland area. Everything is halal and they removed pork from their menu. The location is not that far from the Devon area. We had the best lunch meal: three drums, french fries, and a Korean donut for 11.99. We got the first fried batch of the day and it took about 15 minutes for it to get ready after they were open. We got lucky and each drum was a different flavor. The spicy has a real kick to it and is not kid-friendly. Your lips tingle but super delicious. Guzzle some water down. The Korean bbq flavor was my favorite with the perfect sweet aftertaste. The soy garlic sauce was good but I would definitely order a mix of spicy and Korean bbq for next time. The fries are super crunchy but needed a little extra salt. The Korean donut was a surprise! It was fluffy and the sweet sauce that comes with it really cooled down our palettes after the spicy drum! The place is casual and the cashier that checked us out was so nice and explained everything to us. I hope they have more meals because the drum deal seemed temporary. A meal with one drum and some wings would be great!

Following a disappointing experience with carryout from Bonchon in Glenview, I was not so eager to dine here. But the Skokie restaurant is much closer to home and my Missus and her sis wanted to give it a go, so I was outvoted. This location is primarily carryout, but there are a few tables for those who would rather dine in. The décor is bright, cheerful and clean. The kitchen is Zabiha Halal - they do not serve pork. The cashier who took our order was pleasant and most helpful, and our food arrived in a matter of minutes. My Missus enjoyed her japchae (glass noodles stir-fried with meat and veggies). Her sis had spicy chicken wings (rather incendiary but she is okay with heat) with a side of edamame. I had a fried chicken combo (4 wings + 2 drumsticks) brushed with soy garlic sauce. The wings were very good but the drumsticks had been prepared earlier and were neither piping hot nor juicy. Extra sauce might have helped but the only condiment they put out is tomato ketchup (Ottogi, perhaps?). Thumbs down on the onion rings. Although freshly prepared and crunchy, they were 80% breading-to-20% onion and the dominant flavor was fryer oil.Menu prices are north of what I would consider to be a good value for fast-casual chow. Quite honestly, I have experienced better Korean fried chicken spots in the area.Update: Bonchon's Customer Service responded soon after I posted the above review (scroll down to see their message). I promptly replied but never heard back from them (ditto my experience with the Glenview Bonchon). Businesses that offer to "make things right" but neglect to follow through are both deceptive and indifferent about customer retention. I've adjusted the star rating accordingly.
