This place didn't seem very Vietnamese to me. The Vemecelli had no fish sauce (staff didn't know what fish sauce was) and the banh mi definitely had something missing. I guess it's not trying to be authentic. Honestly there's nothing terrible about it but if you're really into Vietnamese food you might be disappointed.

I'm not one to pay high prices for things i can get somewhere cheaper, but bon me is okay, i actually liked my rosemary fennel chicken over soba noodles with sesame dressing alot. (the chicken was a special). The line was long on this particular thursday, but with sunny weather comes people!!! It moved fairly quickly. The thai iced tea I got was not authentic whatsoever. It was very cinnamon but that may be the fusion twist??

Love Vietamese food, and finding this food truck was a happy serendipity.Bon Me happened to be in my pathway on my way back to my hotel, where I was going to look for a restaurant. The Bon Me food truck called to me, and I am so glad it did.I tried the Sesame Soba with chickpeas, carrots, red onion, roasted scallions and delicious soba noodles. They let you add some condiments, and the portions are generous, especially for the under $10 pricing.Good value, time-saving, and delicious.

What a great change from sitting in a crowded restaurant. We enjoyed a selection of 5 food trucks on the Greenway. I had the Banh Mi from Bon Me. Toasted crunchy French baguette filled w/Char Sui pork. Pickled carrots and daikon radish, cucumbers, cilantro, red onion and pork Pate. Not enough pickled veggies to compliment the meat, but that's a personal preference. The crunchy French bread worked perfectly with the sweet meat.$7. I'd get another

This is one of my favorite food trucks in Boston. You can get fresh, healthy Vietnamese food $10 ish. I have been to several food trucks in different locations, and also the brick and mortar store in Haymarket. Expect to wait at least 20 min for your food at the food truck during lunch hours. They do take credit cards, a huge plus.I usually get the soba noodles with some sort of protein- chicken or pork. The soba noodles used to be the same price as rice, but they raised the prices! I have also tried the banh mi sandwich, which is delicious, and the cheapest item on the menu. Your food also comes with vegetables. If you want a well balanced, delicious meal, go to Bon Me!

Bon Me is my favorite food truck in Boston. I love the vibrant flavors - the salty-sweetness of the BBQ pork, the sour-sweet crunch of the pickled carrot and daikon, the freshness of the cilantro, and the spiciness of the add-it-yourself sriracha. The deviled tea eggs are terrific. I need to try some other options, but I like this combo so much I tend to get it again and again.

This was actually my first Banh mi experience and I have to say it was pretty good! I got the Banh mi sandwich with the three spice pulled chicken and the Thai basil lemonade to go along with it. We only waited about 3 minutes for our food which I thought was really impressive for a food truck with a line of people. The sandwich was overall pretty good. The bread was nice and soft and I loved the contrast in textures; soft chicken and crunchy vegetables - the only thing was that the flavors were pretty weak. The chicken was supposed to be mildly spicy but I really couldn't taste it at all and I would have preferred more Cilantro to enhance the Vietnamese flavors. The Thai lemonade though was bomb!!! Unlike a combination of flavors I've really experienced before in a drink. Not overly sweet with unique basil notes. So so refreshing!

It's a sickness, y'all. And I don't wanna be cured. My first experience with the Bon Me truck was only a little better than lackluster, maliciously comparing an artisanal sado with a (humbly) superior street version from Mei Sum. It's a solid 'wich, yet I couldn't find myself craving it when my gullet needed a banh mi.Then I met you, noodle bowl. Soba noodles with spice rubbed boneless chicken thighs, a slew of julienned veggies and an addictive spicy peanut sauce that puts my world on edge. Toss on a handful of fresh cilantro, and charge me $6. I'LL PAY DOUBLE!Seems so simple, until I found myself hunting down the truck and finding an excuse to be nearby. You know, like all of you did with your college crush who broke your heart. Good thing the Blue Siren (as I'll refer to their apt-colored truck in the family) is parked near South Station every Tuesday. Which is when I meet my Yelpterns. Which is win I eat this box o' righteousness. Which is when I am happy. The only downside: the line BLOWS UP after 12p. Even arriving 10 minutes prior cuts your wait to a third. Know what you want and have your LevelUp at the ready. And remember, the noodle bowl is king, but that doesn't mean you should rob yourself of a thai basil lemonade to wash it down. Summasummasummatime!

The food was great, portions were very generous except for the sandwich. I got Ali's Pho, very refreshing, devoured it in 10 minutes. My friends got the K-town throw down and japchae, which they enjoyed very much. Service was very fast, and the place was very clean. Would go again.

Just had to write a review because the lunch I got today from the food truck near South Station was excellent. This place is always delicious and consistent, with a great depth of flavor and good amount of fresh food for the price. Highly recommended.
