Ambience is decent. Looks of a casual dine in place.banchan was quite good. Kimchi was fresh but I enjoy it like that. Pickled vegetables were flavorful.Service was attentive.Seolleong tang was light and delicious.Kalbi tang was also very beef forward and rich.Would recommend, it's one my favorites in the eastside.

Sullang tang is not easy to find in Washington. Excellent sullang tang is even harder.Bon does it good. Broth is flavorful. I like the tendon soup but only if its soft, and Bon does it that way.The only other sullang tang place I know of in Washington worth mentioning is in Federal Way. To compare, Bon does the tendon very well as its very soft. The place in Federal Way, on the other hand, the soup is better flavour though their tendon can have hard & crunchy pieces, which I dislike, and their kimchee is better, though Bon kimchee is not bad.Overall Bon is a good choice. The soup is good enough, kimchee is ok, and its much closer to home than Federal Way. I will be returning again.

I was eager to try this place, but I left disappointed with the quality of the food.Firstly, the Seolleong Tang was disappointingly bland. Despite adding salt and pepper, the broth lacked any distinct flavor reminiscent of what I've tasted in Korea. It lacked the rich bone broth flavor and seemed watered down.Secondly, the Galbitang was overly salty, especially the broth, which left me reaching for water constantly. Additionally, the portions were small, and I didn't feel it justified the $22.99 price tag.The condiments were passable but lacked proper seasoning.

Solid healthy, homey Korean cuisine. We only ordered two dishes. Some may say that the soup is lacking in flavor, but in my own opinion, I think they did the short rib soup very well. Very simple, with strong beef flavor without all the complications. This is how they do broth in Korea. You can add salt or pepper to your own preference, which is very authentic Korea restaurant. Seafood pancake was really good. Food crisp and moist ratio. The squid/octopus was really nice and soft (fresh) and not too chewy. I found it to have a good seafood to onion balance. It came with three ban chans (side dishes): kimchee, spicy pickled radish, and bamboo shoots? again the OG sides. Simple yet strong authentic flavors. All the spicy preservatives to keep your skin tight and young ahahhaPlace was clean and simple. Service was quick and efficient. I love all their silver wear. Good and hot rice tea. If you're wanting a feel good, soul good, Seoul food. I would recommend trying this place. Feel like it would give you energy if you're feeling like your body needs a little healthy pick me up. Now to stroll around H-mart and walk it off.

Seolleong Tang is what this place is known for. You get about 3 different varieties of banchan with it and a bowl of rice. Apparently you can ask for extra meat but didn't find that out until after we ate. Would have been helpful to know that at the beginning. Overall, it was a quick, easy meal. I would recommend the short ribs.

This was our first time trying Seolleong Tang and we really enjoyed it. It was the perfect soup for a cold wintery day and we thought it was neat how there was a little display in the table explaining this dish and how to season to taste with salt and a pepper based to your own liking. The seafood pancake was delicious with a perfectly crispy outside and lots of onion, scallion and some seafood on the inside - it all paired so nicely with the sauce. We also liked the side dishes that came with our meal, especially the one with the daikon and cucumber. The restaurant was pretty spacious with plenty of tables.

I took my parents to this restaurant for lunch today. We ordered the sullungtang soup with brisket, dogani (tendon) and a mixed meat of brisket, tripe, and tendon. The soup comes with green onions and clear (dak myun) noodles already added in it. You then need to flavor your broth with salt and pepper. The salt is apparently from Korea and not as salty as US produced salt but gradually add the salt and then taste. Spoons and chopsticks are located in a drawer underneath the table. The restaurant was clean and large. The side dishes (ban chan) they give you, only 3, are radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi and pickled vegetables. The food was delicious. I think the soup portion was decent. Dogani meat (tendon) was soft and sliced. This restaurant is a great addition to the Eastside, specializing in Korean ox bone broth soup. I'm looking forward to visiting again and this place will be great for hot soup on those cold rainy days.

We dropped in before 6pm on a Saturday to a pretty busy dining room but was promptly seated at a clean and tidy table. We had the short rib soup and the fried chicken. The soup was great, everything you'd expect from korean short rib soup. It's served with rice and a couple of banchans. The kimchi was good, as was the soy based radish but the radish kimchi was cut a bit large and threw off the pickle to vegetable ratio.Fried chicken portion is on the smaller side for $20, but is two legs and two breasts. It's served with pickled radish, a korean garlic gochujang based sauce on the side with a simple coleslaw-like salad. It's well cooked, juicy and crunchy at the same time. This pickled radish is fairly under-pickled and bitter. The service here is a little slow but they seem like they're doing their best as they seem under-staffed for the number of tables. This place's soups are a step up compared to stone korean, an east-side korean classic. I'd come back to try other dishes and see how those compare.

So thankful to have this Korean soup restaurant on the Eastside! Thank you so much to the owners. We tried surlungtang & green onion pancake. The pancake was really well prepared & delicious. Soup was not as rich as other places but still good. Interior is big & clean. Service was friendly. Radish kimchi was not ripe so disappointing but they just opened so will try again soon. Don't trust google maps, this place is next to Tous du jour bakery on the outside of H Mart in Redmond. Great to eat here then shop at H Mart or enjoy the bakery next door. Hours are irregular so check first
