Bombay Chaat

Although a small place, this store is in avery convenient location for chaat and other indian snacks. There is plenty of parking out front. We ordered pani puri, samosa and khaman to go. The khaman was super fresh and tasted delicious. I always love samosas from this place. In the past I have also ordered bombay sandwiches. Just beware that sometimes their sandwiches can be very spicy. There is no room to eat inside, better for takeout.

First : This is a take out place only. No tables. Simple clean place with a few chairs. Service was great. That being said now let's talk about the food. Many choices on their extensive menu. We started out with the hot Masala Chai which was freshly made. We ordered the Pani Puri, Dal Kachori Chaat, Dahi-Papri Chaat & Pav Bhaji. Over all enjoyed the snacks, not bad. The pav bhaji was the least liked ... way too spicy & the bhaji was very liquid. We sat there in the corner to eat & they were very kind in their service. If in the area would come back to try some other menu items.

This place is great - had the Somosa Chole Chaat (samosa topping with a chickpea curry and lots of fixins). Delicious food, great portion and the staff are super friendly. Will definitely be back again soon to try more on their massive menu. If you're in the area, don't miss this spot! (Also, it's about $1 cheaper for most items if you call or order there, as opposed to online). There are also a few awesome Indian and Halal markets in the same parking lot

We are so glad to have this authentic Indian snack restaurant in Burlington. Much needed in the area. We go here an the time for dhokla, Dabeli, sweets and more. The only little inconvenience is that they don't have seating for eat in which I hear should be resolved soon. Other than that, highly recommend this place for fresh and tasty snack and sweets.

Flavorful and good sized portions. I ordered the Dani Vada/Bhalla and a samosa. Very filling and only $15 total. I look forward to trying more menu items!

First impressions: Food and service is great value for your money. We always wanted a place for Indian 'farsaan' and were happy to discover this place. It is takeout so ambiance is not much to talk about but the few glimpses we caught of the kitchen it looked clean and taken care of. Big plus for us. We have been here once and our experience was great. We will definitely try it a couple of times more and update the review accordingly.

I can't believe I even have to write this review, but I'm absolutely furious about my experience at Bombay Chaat. Let me start by saying that I understand that takeout food isn't always the healthiest option, but what they served me was beyond unacceptable. When I opened my order, all I could see was a container swimming in a sea of oil (check out the pics if you don't believe me). It was so disgusting that I had no choice but to throw the entire dish away. This was not just unappetizing; it was an absolute rip-off!But wait, it gets even worse. I made it crystal clear that if a certain item wasn't available, they should cancel it. But what did they do? They had the audacity to substitute an item I ordered with something I didn't want (laddu instead of baklava), and to top it off, they had the nerve to charge me the full price for the original item! It's clear that they care more about squeezing every last penny out of their customers than actually meeting their needs.The only reason they even get one star from me is because the bland Vada Pav was at least edible and resembled the correct item. But honestly, it's a small consolation for such a terrible overall experience. Bombay Chaat, you should be ashamed of yourselves for the awful service and food quality you provide. I won't be coming back, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of this place unless you enjoy being ripped off and served subpar food.

Sadly not up to the mark. Great business idea but very poorly executed! this place needs a better chef. There's something to be noted when you can make better chaat at home. Unfortunately a miss.

Extremely disappointing, they have no place to sit and eat and the food is spicy and expensive. Usual you would charge those cost is as if you you can sit down and eat. Don't waist your money here, go some place else.
