Placed an order over the phone.. some miscommunication but they had the order ready to go within 20 minutes of arrival. No big deal. The place was already busy at 5 pm opening. If dining in, be prepared to wait to be seated. Can't go wrong ever with bossam as it is their signature dish.Ownership has changed many times since they first opened, but I haven't seen any major improvements nor shortcomings. Typical Korean restaurant service.. not great, but not bad.

This is our third time here. Food is always great. We got the kalbi beef and soup this time. What I love about this place is that the side dishes are unlimited. You only pay for the main entrees. Service is pretty good, though I think they could check up on people more often. I had to get the attention of staff multiple times to get a refill. Ambiance was really loud.

You can tell from the decor and dim lighting that most people come for casual vibe and drinking accompanied by comfort food. Service was surprisingly good during dinner time. Food is delicious and not too expensive. We ordered a seafood pancake, amry stew and grandma's bossam for 4 people, and even took home a little leftover. I recommend the seafood pancake (lots of green onion and seafood) and the bossam (hard to find these days). My parents both liked the kimchi that came with the bossam - not too salty and didn't have a strong raw garlic flavor, and paired great with the fatty pork belly.

We found this spot after a quick search for a good Korean restaurant. When we got there we found it to be very busy - a packed house on Thursday night is a good sign. The staff was friendly and service was solid, but everyone seemed a little disorganized (tables took a while to be cleared, some dishes came out 15 minutes after the others, etc.). We ordered the Seafood Pancake, Spicy Tofu Soup, Stone Pot Bibimbap, and TonKatSu. The Seafood Pancake was perfect, and the soup and the banchan were very good, but the pork and the Bibimbap were pretty average. All-in-all, kind of a mixed bag, but if I lived in the area, I would give this place another shot.

This place is a casual dinner spot. We were immediately seated for two people as the time we went was relaxed. We ordered the Cheese Katsu and the Cheese Tteokboki, and the portion sizes were massive. They had refillable side dishes, which was nice. The katsu and the tteokboki tasted great. One problem I had was it was TOO cheesy for my liking. I wish they slightly toned down on the amount of cheese used. However, good food, as always. We also had to take some to go because it was more than enough for two people, and they also had refillable.

My table of 3 came here for dinner after finding the original restaurant we wanted to go to was shut down for maintenance. Luckily this place was just at the corner in the same plaza. We were seated right away. There is a button you press when you need service. They got busy a little after we got our food so needing boxes and getting the check was a little slow at the end. Food was amazing! Large portions! This place is definitely a sharing place. We got 3 dishes and still had so much leftover at the end of the meal. The cheese pork ribs were good, cheesy and the meat was still tender pull off the bone. Spicy chicken feet was good but wasn't spicy enough. Stew was a little salty but was still good. Overall this place is nice. With the huge portions comes a higher price point so definitely bring people to share and split the cost.

Used to be one of my favorite places to go on the weekends with friends. I moved away and came back. And the portions got bigger! My friend and I were so shocked when they brought our food out. Their katsu sauce is still unique and tasty. Their cheese buldak is cheesier than I remember. Their banchans are still so good, especially their egg souffle. I don't love the drinking atmosphere, but it is what it is and the parking gets really tight and full.

Be prepared for a pretty long wait to get seated as well as for food to be served! My partner and I got the cheese tteokbokki, bulgogi, and the virgin bossam. DO NOT get the bulgogi. It was overly dry. The cheese tteokbokki was enjoyable, perfect comfort food! For the bossam, the kimchi cabbage was very high quality and was the best part of the meal. It went so well with the pork belly I was pleased. However the banchan at this spot is below average. Overall enjoyable spot but could be better.

Seriously, this is forever my favorite night spot for eating out late at night. The spicy pork belly is just something so irresistible. The soup is also good, but the soup bowl is always so big. I end up just bringing it home anyway at the end. The service is very convenient. You just have to ring the bell , and the server will be at the table at no time. Remember this restaurant is pretty divey, so there's nothing about fanciness. It's very casual, so please show up in sweats like I do, so you can eat more.

Food-wise, I will give it a 4. Their main specialty (Bossam) is amazing. Good portions, amazing kimchi, etc. If you're in a bigger group, I recommend adding extra meat for $10. The price was reasonable as well. Gobchang (Intestines) was just okay for me. Service was just okay as well. Not great but not bad. They have a bell that you press for service (like most Korean restaurants do) and it works. Servers come to you fairly quickly. While this is a decent spot for drinks, dinner, late night snack, I would say they could pay more attention to the cleanliness. I could smell a bit of Clorox on the plates and cups they use. Parking is easy and this strip mall has a bunch of other Korean restaurants, cafes, karaoke, etc.
