Chosing is the hard part.
outside
It's tucked in between a cool nautical store and the Marina Market.
Talk about a grand entrance!
I never thought I'd buy decorations there, but these sweet little birds spoke to me! They carry some beautiful things.

What a lovely shop! The employees were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The customer before me had some specific requirements around allergies and braces, and the employee provided great detail around which chocolates would meet her needs and which to avoid. The turtles I purchased were mouth-wateringly delicious, and I will be back for more!

Boehm's has some of the most delectable gourmet chocolates I've ever tried!! There are so many creative varieties of chocolates and they all fit so perfectly within the European style of Poulsbo. My favorite is the Mt. Rainier - it's shaped like the mountain and inside there's a cherry surrounded by caramel and either dark or milk chocolate. It's heavenly. If you've ever been to the original store in Issaquah, then be prepared for this to be the very mini version. They don't have a lot of the incredible specially shaped chocolates that they make in Issaquah, and there are a lot less choices of their behind-the-counter ones. Most of the store is like a generic gift shop.

What an adorable hidden gem of a candy shop! It reminds me a bit of Leavenworth, it's so cute!! Also the chocolates are absolutely delicious! I picked up truffles, caramels, chocolate covered graham crackers, a whole assortment, and everything was yummy. The chocolate covered pretzels are not only beautiful, but also scrumptious. They also have these cute little dog bones, I picked my pup up some and he ate them right up (and he's a super picky eater ).

AMAZING! My kids from out of state wanted to make a pilgrimage, as the rainiers we sent as a birthday present are SO delicious! Those consist of a cherry surrounded by caramel, enrobed in dark or milk chocolate. YUM!We always buy malt balls because they rock! Their thick, high quality chocolate coating yields easily, without any waxy feel. Lucky for us, it comes in bags of dark chocolate, milk, or both mixed. Our family has a dark/milk split. Everyone leaves happy. The malt inside is light and slightly sweet. Perfect pairing. Also outstanding-- the ice cream. For about $5, you get a big slab of high quality, real vanilla ice cream dipped in the finest chocolate, which is covered in toasted almonds and English toffee pieces. They don't cut corners. This is the REAL DEAL...big and rich; worth every calorie and dollar.

Chocolate made here in Washington! Great for bringing home! The chocolates were delicious and I was so excited to find something to bring home. They had a huge variety of chocolates in the cases. I tried the Ting-a-Ling and it was yummy. I thought it had a cute name and I love peanut brittle. It was peanut brittle covered in milk chocolate. One thing I thought was really good about this place was every chocolate is made in both milk and dark chocolate. The only thing I didn't really like about the place was there weren't very many boxes of chocolate to choose from. There were lots of other Halloween candies but not much chocolate. I ended up getting a couple small boxes of assorted chocolates, a bag of chocolate covered cherries, and a couple of chocolate bars. That was pretty much all they had that was chocolate. Definitely worth trying out and getting some Washington made chocolates but don't expect a huge variety.

Hazelnut, gianduja chocolates are approved by yours truly. There's one that had an edelweiss screen printed atop, it's so pretty. My niece liked her butterscotch one. My dad liked the raspberry truffle and my sibling enjoyed the amaretto chocolate.

Penuche fudge that will take you to heaven - and that's not all! This is one of those penultimate old school candy shops with all of the goodies you dream about and then some...and don't even get me started on the fudge because I won't be able to stop.

While playing tourist i was thrilled to see a Boehms Chocolate in downtown Poulsbo. Of course, we went in! We are familiar with the Issaquah location. This location is a little different. It's presentation, but in a good way. In addition to all the lovely chocolate offerings, they have some cute decor items also for sale Let's get down the important part. The chocolate. The chocolates are delicious doesn't matter the location. Because of all the cute items I ended up browsing the store. I'm looking around some before getting going to chocolate counter. Sadly, I only got one photo of our chocolate. Everyone dove in and started munching before I could get my camera out. One of our favorites is the Arancini. Strips of candied orange peel covered in milk or dark chocolate. Plus it counts as a fruit - right?
