The food tasty has actual flavor the service quick very friendly As far as the place itself nits kinda small also loud but they do have outside setting I just happen to be at the pop up shops at the Summerhill parking lot need to escape the heat It was a good choice for a small snack also to cool off

We have been trying to visit more neighborhood restaurants, and this sounded perfect for an off-hour, late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday. It was very quiet at 3:30 pm, and we'd read an article about Boca which made everything sound enticing. I guess it was an OLD article, and Yelp reviewers now tell me the store is under new management. The menu offered few of the items featured in the tantalizing article, and virtually nothing vegetarian. The servers were lovely, and get the place 3 stars, because the food doesn't deserve more than one. We were served complimentary chips & salsa, which is a plus, but the chips were weirdly slightly sweet, and that was off-putting. The salsa was mild to the point of being tasteless. We ordered a tiny $10 cup of guacamole which was fresh but also flavor-free. I'm a vegetarian and hubby is not, so Mexican is usually great for us. But in this case I'm glad I'm on a diet, because I wasn't even tempted to finish my meal, nor take it home. My cheese enchiladas were cold, shredded cheese inside flour tortillas, with a mild, tepid (canned?) sauce ladled over it. They were served on a sizzling iron griddle, but that's the only part of the food that was warm. My husband's chicken enchiladas were the same, with cold, diced (canned?) chicken. A side of (canned) black beans and rice came with it. We only ordered a beer and a diet coke, both of which were served in cans(!) so I can't speak to the cocktails, which might be amazing. Nothing we had was good. Too bad.

stopped by for an early dinner with friends. This is close to their place and had been on their list for a while. It is no where near us so I don't know if we will be back but if they wanted to, we would go happily. Menu was kind of limited -I'd say this is a good option if you ahve picky kids in your party. Nothing was really outstanding or memorable aside from the churros. I have to say they were SO GOOD! Highly recommend ordering them. That being said nothing was bad either. Just not remarkable aside from the churros. We sat on the patio which was fine. Lots of seating. I didn't actually go inside at all but it looked like it was cute but maybe a bit tight. Our server was nice and quick. But had to keep checking inside to answer questions - not sure of she was new or just not great at her job. Hopefully se was new. We weren't in a rush so it really didn't matter much to us. Parking was. a little complicated. There are street parking, and lots across the street on every side. I'm not sure of they have their own lot though - I don't think that they did. At the end of the day I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but would return if our local friends wanted to without complaint.

This was probably the worst meal and service I have received in a while. Starting with service. I had to ask several times for a glass of water. My food and cocktails came out before I received my water. The shrimp salad had way too much Old Bay seasoning on it. The mushroom taco was disgusting and I love mushrooms. My boyfriend didn't enjoy is taco either (not pictured) We could've made better tacos at home by ourselves. The only thing that was good was the margaritas we ordered. Everything else was subpar including the service.

Happen to stumble on this place after a soccer game, and I'm glad I did. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding. I had a breakfast burrito with a side of potatoes. My wife had the shrimp and grits, which were recommended by the patrons and waitress. It didn't disappoint at all.

Walked on a random Saturday to have brunch. The building is small, quaint and modernized decor. The menu is relatively small but I opted to order cheese dip. The dip was nasty and cold (my opinion), and definitely didn't taste like traditional queso/cheese dip from a restaurant. My friend ordered tacos and she said she really enjoyed them. She had the skirt steak and a chicken taco, she also had a strawberry margarita that she enjoyed. She rated the restaurant 4 stars but my food was not enjoyable. The server did remove it from my bill. Not sure if others provided feedback about that particular item or not. However, I appreciate her willingness to address the food issue.

I came here on a Wednesday evening. There was only one other party there when we arrived. We were seated and ordered a Texas and spicy margarita. They were both decent, liked that it was only $10. My friend got the beef taco plate and said the beef was seasoned but a little dry. Ambiance is a little dry in there, but if they had some good music and warmed it up a bit, it could be a nice vibe. Mannn, I hate writing a bad review, but people deserve to know. Just skip this place. There is nothing good here aside from the tortilla chips [that you have to pay for].Got a reservation at 7:15 on a Friday, and I was excited because I thought it would be bumpin'. Far from. Only 4 patrons in the establishment, so I was a little apprehensive as we sat down. We ordered the queso to start, along w a margarita each. The drinks arrived first - we ordered the same drink each, but each of ours tasted completely different. Not bad by any means, but not consistent. The queso was fine - the flavor was great, but a true pain to eat. Had the consistency of silly putty and extremely oily. The two of us ordered 2x tacos each and all of them were C+ at best. Again, only 4 of us in the whole place, and the tacos still came out 65% hot and didn't taste fresh. Also, $7 a taco?! And not even a good one?!We were going to pay by app, but that required an extra $3 fee, and also had the default "popular" tip option of 23% which included tipping on top of tax. Our service was decent, but not at the 23% level. Ask to get a regular check. Also - a regular tequila soda is $14, and a "boutique" margarita is a dollar more. Fool me once.

We stopped by as they opened and we're immediately greeted by Nico. He was so welcoming, attentive and fun.The restaurant is so cute. The chairs were very comfortable. We were casually dressed but you could definitely come in dressed to impress and have a great time.We ordered our food and it was very tasty. Nico also brought out a little bit of avocado so our baby could experience guacamole. We will be back!
