Bob's Pizza

We LOVE this place!! they have some of the most unique specialty pizzas I've seen including their famous pickle pizza!! I was initially skeptical of the pickle pizza since I'm really not the biggest fan of pickles, but I actually ended up really enjoying it!! We love coming on weekdays for their happy hour (Monday thru Thursday 4-5) where their pizzas are BOGO!! It's such a good deal and easy to split with friends. I would recommend calling ahead during that time and then picking up :) Favorites: chicken sausage pizza, spinach pesto, and the pickle pizza!

So I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this place was disappointing. We walked in, water cups are DIY. NAPKINS ARE DIY and you have to ask for water. You also have to offer at the register and pay before you even get your pizza. I'm a generous tipper, but what work had to be done to to tip. Bake the pizza. We also received the pizza and had to get up again to grab plates. Pizza was very good. But I'd rather order it for take out rather than sit and try to enjoy a restaurant. Not sure if the owner don't want to pay waiters out for tip. But this is not a good place to sit and eat.

Stopped by Bob's Pizza in Pilsen as I have heard good things about it. There is seating for about 20 inside the restaurant. Adjacent to the ordering counter, they offer parmesan packets, crushed red pepper packets, napkins, plates, and garlic seasoning. We ordered the Bob's Pepperoni pizza and it took about 10-15 minutes to come out fresh. The pizza itself is "pilsen style" which is a mix of thin crust and neapolitan. There was plenty of pepperoni on top! Overall I thought the pizza was really tasty but not within my top 5. The server did give us complimentary desserts to go which was incredibly kind! These were a take in a whoopie pie and delicious!

The pizza was over all great crust and sauce and cheese on point. And friendly service was great.

I drive through Pilsen all the time and to be honest, I never knew there was a pizza place called Bob's till now. Literally on the next street over from Cermak grocery. Registering for an rewards acct for Bob's was fairly simple and ordering was just as fast. there seems to be only 1 size (measured 16" x 16") which consisted of 6 large foldable slices. I ordered the sausage and I got to Bob's early and they seems to have it all ready in the warmer. The pie was tasty, way better to others in the area (Costco). I am a fan and highly recommend.

Bobs pizza is one of my favorite pizza places. It offers New York style pizza. My favorite is the pepperoni pizza with honey on the side. It is delicious. I always call to pick up and they have the pizza ready within 20 minutes. Everyone is always so nice when you call in and when you pick up. They have a happy hour Mondays through Thursdays from 4 to 5 that is but one get one pizza. That is an incredible deal! I always recommend this pizza.

Some friends and I ordered takeout from Bob's Pilsen location. The pizza is thin-crust like New York-style pizza, with a large puffy crust-- it's technically called "Pilsen-Style". We ordered 3 pies-- Korean BBQ Chicken, Spinach Pesto and Stracciatella, and normal Cheese. I personally liked the Spinach Pesto and Stracciatella the best-- I'm always a fan of arugula on pizza; added with the white cheese + prosciutto, it made a great combo. Fresh, savory, and delicious. I also liked the Korean BBQ Chicken pizza-- a unique option with a sweet and tangy kick from the BBQ sauce and kimchi. The cheese was pretty standard. Each pie comes with 8 slices but each slice really massive, so the prices are pretty reasonable for the size (~$25 / pie). Although we only did takeout, the vibes of the dine-in location looked really nice, so I'd love to come back with a group in the future to dine in and also try their more famous pickle pizza!-- Price (relative to peers): 4.2/5Food: 4.2/5Ambience: N/AService: 5/5 (takeout)Overall Value: 4.2/5

I love Bob's Pizza! It's a slightly different style of pizza, and they brag about the crust being made with Old Style beer. I'm a big fan - while they do takeout/delivery, it's such a cozy BYOB spot (the bodega across the street sells bottles of beer, mixed drinks, wine, etc) and my husband and I love going there for a casual date night when we want to have a romantic vibe but don't want to get dressed fancy and spend a ton of money. The service is always friendly and we've enjoyed chatting with the staff who work there - including the chef one time when we spent a few minutes chatting with him. We've never gone wrong with the flavors we've picked and I can't wait to go back again!

Interesting and unique style but I actually liked it! It did take a long time to make it so make sure you order well in advance.

Solid pizza on the south side that isn't a chain. We love their dough and eating outside on their patio next to their basil plants because I can't get enough basil on my pizza. We got the margherita pizza (extra basil for me) and I forgot the other one. Looking forward to coming back!
