Bob's Burgers and Brew - Lynden

Chicken bacon ranch wrap was not great. They don't use real bacon, just the bacon bits you find in the salad dressing isle of the grocery store. The chicken had a weird bitter taste to it like it was cooked on a dirty grill. And when you order mozzarella sticks you get a prepackaged marinara sauce instead of something fresh. Not worth it.

This was an above average Bob's. Have been to one of their other locations and didn't really care for it, this one was nice and there were a fair number of locals here, they all l knew one another. I sat at the bar and had a burger with fries. Burger was nice, a little dry, but cooked well and tasted good. With Creepy Joe's inflation was still surprised at how much it cost yet there's not much can be done. Ambiance is really nice here yet but cramped in bar area. It was a little weird, as was leaving said goodbye to bartender, first thing she did, as responded, was glance over and make sure I paid, never had that happen before. Unnerving.

Getting my truck serviced at the shop which is a block down .... I got hungry and was just gonna grab a whopper at the BK but next door was bobs burger and brew... so i elected for something new.... Went on in to bobs.... I ordered the Western Bacon and a salad.... Fn'A it was good!! probably the slowest burger I ever ate I didn't want to lose the flavor! I ate it all, slow enough to drink two beers before finishing.... The server was exceptional making sure I was content and if I needed more... they were very nice and I enjoyed my meal .... they don't offer Apple Pay but the small inconvenience didn't bend my opinion on a great burger joint... thanks Bob!!

Burger bun was soggy falling apart, and Joe joes were without seasoning and soggy. Very disappointing, won't be going back.

So this is an average place.Was in town to see family who have lived here for a while. Since I've visited often, I've been to most of the restaurants that have open and closed in the area, but for whatever reason, I never went to Bob's Burgers and Brews.So on our way out of town, my kids and I decided to try something new and went here. (We had stayed at the hotel attached to the Bob's Burgers in Sumas, WA and were not impressed, so that might have contributed to us not going here anytime before).It was near opening, so we got seated right away. We had a big corner booth to ourself, although on the way out, they seated a party at the table next to it and the gap was so small, I was bumping into the poor person who was seated there. It didn't affect us on the day, but I could see it being very crowded.Our wait staff was wonderful and pleasant; she had just graduated from high school and was cheerful about it, so she was a definite bright spot. She came and took our order right away and was quick on the drink refills as well.We started with an order of mozzarella sticks. They were good...but for ten bucks for eight, they were pretty pricy and nothing special. We ate them all pretty quick but that sure did seem expensive.One son and I each had a smash burger. Small, double patties with grilled onions and the usual condiments and toppings. Neither of us went with the sauce, and my son foregoed the onions.It was alright. Somewhat smallish but decent. It had a huge amount of onions, though, and I ended up pulling some of them off. The cheese was also...well, not bad. But not great. I think it was American singles but I'm not sure. It had a strange kind of flavor to it. Not sure if this was a one-off or just how it is. I didn't particularly hate it, but I didn't love it either.My other son got the chicken strip basket. Three fried chicken strips which was pretty standard. BBQ sauce was provided and my kid seemed to enjoy it all.The whole thing was a little more than I wanted to spend, even with lunch specials, but not totally out of line. The mozzarella sticks were probably the most expensive of the bunch.I don't necessarily know that we'll be back, but not for any particular reason. If someone wanted to go there, we maybe would. I also noted they have gluten free options, which is a necessity for my partner, so depending on how safe they were, that might be an option for us. But all in all, it was a very average experience.

good food, ordered the ranch burger but instead I got it with no egg and a chicken breast. I don't know how the fuck you mix this up. disappointed.

My go-to place for a great burger. If anything, Bob's has gotten better with time. Excellent value, good locations and never a disappointment. Good place to meet up with your besties, knock back a few dead soldiers and wash down a burger w/fries.

Great food and great service! We sat outside on the patio and didn't realize how busy the restaurant was inside until we were leaving. In spite of how busy they were, our server, Daphne, was very friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly.

Yeah, thought I would give it another try. Walked in to Bobs at 8:47pm. Open sign is on. People are in the restaurant. Kitchen has food cooking. Asked if I can order to go and they said no. Just want 1 sandwich. Sorry we close in 10 min. So?!?! What's the issue. Whatever. The employees were all either on their phones or talking and laughing with each other. Not a care in the world for a lady who wants 1 sandwich.

The Bob's Burgers in Lynden is disappointing for a number of reasons. Firstly, the restaurant needs a deep clean from the seat cushions to the carpet. This location could also use an overall renovation. I thought that during the first year of covid that this location would have taken the opportunity as many other restaurants did to make much-needed renovations but this didn't work out. With respect to Bob's trademark burgers, they don't match up to other Bob's Burgers locations. Birch Bay has excellent burgers from fresh Angus beef and they do not disappoint. The Bellingham location is also very good but I would be surprised if the Lynden location uses the same beef or perhaps it was a case of the beef not being grilled properly, I'm not sure. This is my experience with the Lynden location of Bob's Burgers. I would recommend both the Birch Bay and Bellingham locations.
