Bobby Q - Mesa

We had a great experience at Bobby Q. Great atmosphere and service from Race. He was super attentive, which was good because the restaurant was hopping.We're Texans so we know our BBQ. This measured up pretty well. Prime rib was good and cooked well. We also loved the cornbread and butter they brought out to start. Race brought us donuts too. They were good.A new favorite for us transplants to Phoenix.

Rating will be a 4.5 since I can't add the .5Atmosphere: was nice but could be a little cooler inside, during summer it's quite warm insideInside: mixture of tables and booths also has a very nice bar area.Price/Food: definitely not pocket friendly but when you pay $40 you're gonna be taking food home. Food was delicious and will be going back. I just need to find the happy medium of good food and not expensive when looking at the menu. Adding just two appetizers can put you at $40 and 2 drinks can bring that total up to $50. That's without the main dishes.Bring an appetite and a good credit card this is a must try.

Ambiance- moody, rustic, country. Family oriented but you could also have a nice date night too. I saw they even had outdoor seating with misters too. Food- AMAZING. To kick things off they give you complementary cornbread. My husband ordered the pulled pork meal + two sides and I ordered the 10 oz sirloin + two sides for a great price. Everything tasted so good. To finish things off, complementary cinnamon sugar mini donuts come with your check, so no need to order dessert. We both said we haven't had a good meal out like this in over a year. Service- Great! Our server was attentive and supplied us anything we asked for. He first asked us if we had ever been there before (which we hadn't) then proceeded to introduce Bobby-Q as the best BBQ in AZ and he was NOT lying! 10/10- Highly recommended. I think this will become our new go-to place. Great for birthdays, anniversaries, or even just a great date night. Side note- my husband and I noticed that the drink menu was super cool with some pretty artistic drinks in various glasses. We didn't try any but we will definitely have to try some in the future.

One of our go-to date night spots! We love the food and service here. My favorite is the pulled chicken sandwich and my husband loves the sliced brisket. We live for the complimentary doughnuts and cornbread! We have never had a bad experience here, and it's been one of my favorites for years. Love the Q Lada as well. The ambiance is so cozy and vibey.

OH MY GAH! The food was so good and warm! I loved the food and service. Our server was attentive and friendly. The appetizer was fresh and tasted so good! The cornbread was served with butter and it was delicious. I recommend the mashed potato + Mac & Cheese + potato salad, and the corn. I was living for how smooth and delicious the brisket was. The sausage was definitely spicy. For the end the server brought us all Donuts. Definitely will have to come back and get better pictures. These do not do it justice. I highly highly recommend it!

2nd time here and so impressed!! The service was absolutely fantastic and I got food to go! I went for The whole Hog heaven and it was fantastic!! Choice of two kinds of ribs, 2 types of meat and 3 sides!!!

Great Meetup spot for business and catching up when I'm in the East Valley with clients. Lunch this day was very quiet so we felt like VIP's and the service was great. We had both regular Tea and Sweet Tea... both were good with plenty of refills throughout the meeting. As for a cocktail, I had to try the Blood Orange and the La Ofrenda... Both are highly recommended if you're a tequila lover. I had the 2 Meat Combo which included Ribs & Brisket along with 2 good sides... Steamed Broccoli with homemade cheese sauce and. My friend had the Tuesday special which was a Queben Sandwich (with Fries)... The Queben was their version of a reuben but with BBQ smoked meats.Good BBQ and bringing this into my rotation.

Food and service was amazing! I usually don't crave American bbq but I'm so glad I got to try this place!Beef ribs were perfectly smoked and full of flavor. The bbq sauce wasn't overpowering and glazed nicely on the meat 10/10.Not pictured: Chicken Parmesan - which to me was just okay, nothing spectacular 6/10.Smokehouse burger- juicy, fat burger cooked medium with their secret sauce. 8/10Corn bread was moist and fluffy and the homemade cinnamon sugar donuts was a nice treat at the end.

I have never had any food that wasn't excellent. We made reservations through OpenTable and the restaurant honored them on time even though the place was busy. The front staff greeted us in a welcoming manner. Our waiter, Race, was very prompt, courteous and attentive. He went over and above in his service yet was not intrusive.The place has a cool laid-back vibe with a rustic, wood-and-brick interior. It feels warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family.
