BobaLust

BobaLust is our go-to spot for boba in Tacoma. It's located in a nice area, close to shopping and has a large parking lot adjacent. We have yet to find a drink we haven't liked. From the chamoy-mango slushee to the taro milk tea, it is all delicious. If it sounds good to you, most likely you'll love it. The interior has limited seating. It's not a great place to come and study, etc, because of that. They could definitely re-structure dead space and make it more friendly to guests staying, but maybe their business model doesn't work like that! We love BobaLust. :)

Had a great Yelp elite experience here. The menu is extensive and lots of great choices. You can customize the drink as well. I got the taro milk tea with grass jelly. The drinks were made great and tasted good. The staff was very nice and friendly. There is some seating in the boba shop. There is a good amount of parking in the complex. I would come to this boba shop again and highly recommend these guys.

I had the opportunity to check out this Tacoma location last week. They have lots of fun and customizable drinks. The best part of the experience was the cashier asked if I wanted dairy free options. I had never been asked that before at a boba shop. A pleasant surprise! My tummy appreciate the DF option. I didn't know BobaLust had a second location in Tacoma. So that was a cool surprise.

The boba tea was a hit with my granddaughter. The portion size for the dollar amount is great and the taste is outstanding would recommend.. service is fast and friendly.

SERVICE: 5/5This was my first time at Bobalust. My friends and I came here after getting dinner because we were craving some drinks. The employee was patient with us while we were deciding and even answered any questions we had. One of my friends is allergic to mango and they made sure to remove the mango toppings. DRINK: 4/5I got the Blue Lagoon with 50% sweetness and light ice. The drink was pretty, refreshing, and a bit on the sweet side even though I ordered 50% sweetness. Since I prefer more tea flavor, I will come order 25% sweetness next time I come back to compare. I also like how you can add or change the toppings to the drink.PARKING: 5/5There is a parking lot with plenty of spaces. It was easy to find an open spot during a weekday night.

Stumbled along this place and thought I would get myself a drink on a mid humid day. Anyways I got a drink called Summer sass, which consists chunks of oranges and mango. It was pretty refreshing. I'd come back

I love bebalust this man was very interesting and kind and extremely knowledgeable about every item on thebobalustful menu. I appreciate him! He even dapped me up. Ask him any boba question and he will know the answer! He even had a timer on his phone to make the boba and I appreciate the way he immediately rushed to do that task with diligence. Great experience overall

I work behind the plaza where BobaLust is so sometimes I walk down during my break to get something refreshing. The first time I went, I asked for recommendations. The employee was super friendly and told me normally the 1st one on the menu but since it was a hot day, the lychee lemonade was popular. So since then, Ive been hooked on their lychee lemonade! I dont normally like jellies, tapioca balls, or whatever in my drink. But I enjoyed the lychee and strawberry jelly with the lychee lemonade. It's more of a take out place although there are a few sets of tables and chairs.

Rather dark inside when I went. Not the cheery, bright, colorful explosion I was expecting given the experiences at other boba places. Pretty minimalistic.Workers were friendly, not pushy. They let me take my time without seeming annoyed. I appreciate that.I'm a sucker for taro blended milk tea with boba. Having not had one in a long time because I live in a bit of a food desert this definitely hit the mark. Not the best I've ever had- the ice was chunky so I was battling this ice/boba pearl mess about halfway in. I'd go again.

I have tried boba shops, chain and independently owned, up and down the I-5 corridor, from Woodinville to Portland. I have a very good sense of taste/smell and all too often detect a bitter aftertaste in boba milk teas.I would rank this shop at 3rd place amongst all that I've tried. No bitter aftertaste! Perfect sweetness level. Only outdone by two shops, in my opinion, because the dairy product they use doesn't have that perfect creamy taste. All in all, pretty good! Will return whenever I am in the area.Service was friendly and SUPER fast! In and out of the shop in under 5 minutes total. Faster than most places with drive-through service.
