BobaLust - Kirkland

I wish I had discovered this place earlier, Darn!The vibe is simply amazing, the service is excellent, they play some great music and provide some great selection of fun games to enjoy. We ordered:1) MANGO MILK TEA: The mango milk tea with boba and mango jelly offers a delightful combination of flavors and textures. Overall, it's a delicious and satisfying beverage.2) STRAWBERRY SEDUCTION: This smoothie has the perfect balance of the classic sweetness of vanilla with the vibrant, fruity notes of strawberry. This drink is sure to please anyone.What else could you ask for?

BobaLust had really great boba.I ordered a Lychee green tea, 0% sweet and loved it. Any additional sweet would have been too much as it was quite sweet on its own.The service was friendly and prompt, and the seating very plentiful. We sipped our teas quickly and then headed out to grab a bite.I will definitely be coming back to BobaLust!

Such a fantastic late night boba spot! I've visited BobaLust several times before, and it's quickly become a go-to spot. Highly recommend!

Open late, delicious drinks, super friendly staff, cute decor with soft lighting (not the bright hospital lights of some other local places). Easy parking right in front. It would be great if they added some comfortable seating, because the only thing they have now is metal chairs.

I'm a classic OG boba person who defaults to 25% sweet light ice -- the counter guy suggested no sweet (and have the boba balls carry the sweetness of the tea) and it was the perfect rec.Also the space is fun and welcoming, great community space they created!Visiting from Tahoe by way of NYC and SF (and Taiwan) - great spot, great tea, lucky for Bellevue folks!

Drinks here are super refreshing! Been here multiple times and have never had a bad drink. Drinks came out fairly quickly too.They have a whole range of board games to checkout as well. Plenty of seating.Also comparably open later than other boba stores. A good place to hang forsure!

A cute boba place! My friend ordered the ChiChi, which is similar to Blue Lagoon but has coconut milk and I think strawberry as the topping. I ordered the strawberry seduction with 50% sweet. I liked how much strawberry they added and I could taste actual strawberry chunks. You can also ask to borrow games

Lots of love for BobaLust! This is now one of my top places to grab a tea. They have several unique signature teas, smoothies and slushies, most of which include fruit bits or jelly. I love the names... Legend of Momo, Lychee Bomb and Cuddles on the Beach all sounded delicious to me. If you want a more traditional drink, you can select from their menu of milk teas and original teas.Two employees managed ordering and crafting the drinks. The employee we spoke with was knowledgeable about the menu and had such a cheerful attitude which we appreciated. Since we inquired about the sweetness levels of our drinks, he offered samples of them at 0% sugar so that we could let him know if we wanted more sweetener. Surprisingly at 0%, our teas were bursting with fruit flavor and we didn't see a need to alter them. It was very generous of him to provide the samples and is something that makes BobaLust stand out amongst its competitors.I got their specialty STARGIRL ($6), which was a shaken raspberry peach green tea with mango bits (jelly). This was SO refreshing with bright fruitiness and juiciness from the mango bits! Additionally, they perfectly executed my request for light ice. I enjoyed every sip. At any other shop, I typically would have ordered boba, but I didn't miss it at all with this drink. I also couldn't help but notice that some of the mango bits were cut into star shapes - what a cute detail! My companion enjoyed an ORIGINAL LYCHEE BLACK TEA ($5) with boba (+$0.75). She said it had a strong lychee flavor and the boba was nice and firm as opposed to being soft. Their teas are on the more fruity side and dominate the actual flavor of the tea, but I didn't mind too much since I was more than happy with my drink. I'd definitely stop by whenever I'm in the area to try more of their signature creations.

BobaLust Kirkland is located in the Bridle Trails Shopping Center. There is ample parking in the shopping center parking lot. Atmosphere (4.5 out of 5): The atmosphere inside is very well balanced, with neon signs for BobaLust and a row of stuffed animals above their counter. There's ample seating for both work/study and also board games that they offer, making it a great place to hang out with friends or sit in alone. The music is at a relatively noticeable volume, but not too loud, and I absolutely love their playlists, which is usually a mix of pop, k-pop and EDM.Service (4.5 out of 5): The service here has consistently been great - ordering from the menu is super simple, and the staff are friendly to offer any customizations you'd like. The staff seem to enjoy working there, and seem genuinely thankful for your business. Pick-up is standard at the counter. Food (4.5 out of 5): I primarily get BobaLust's slushies and smoothies - I haven't tried the milk tea enough to form an opinion, but their ice drinks are consistently above average. They've crafted a nice set of familiar tastes (orange creamsicle) and also newer combinations (peach and strawberry) and their smoothies are very well balanced overall. Some may find them too sweet but they hit the spot for me.Value (4 out of 5): Despite recently raising prices, BobaLust still falls into the overall average-priced drinks category. They aren't super cheap, but they also aren't overly expensive, and for the quality and size of my drink, I'm never feeling ripped off. I hope they can continue to keep their prices average. The greatest aspect I appreciate about BobaLust Kirkland is their consistency. Over a number of years, I can expect a well-made smoothie with consistent taste and a cute atmosphere with welcoming staff. My experience is positive every time.

My wife and I were in the area and were craving bubble tea so decided to check this place out. She got the OG Milk Tea with boba and I got Jasmine Milk Tea with Sea Salt Cream. She thought the OG Milk Tea was ok but preferred my Jasmine Milk Tea. The Jasmine Milk Tea had a nice flavor. We're not a big fan of the crushed ice as it fits through the straw so you can easily suck it up. The Sea Salt Cream topping wasn't my favorite compared to other places. It was more on the saltier side and no sweet. I prefer the cream to be a bit more sweet with the salty flavor. Also, we got 50% sugar level and it was still really sweet so be prepared if you are thinking 100%. Overall, pretty decent place, very spacious inside, and friendly service.
