We came here last night and I just have to say....i can't wait to go back. Upon arriving there I was quite anxious because it looks like a refinery on the outside lol and there could be one there! Not sure!! But we walked in, were greeted and seated in less than 3 minutes. The waiter gave us ample amount of time to pick our options. I wanted an espresso martini however, they didn't have those so the waiter (his name was Jason btw. Immensely kind and handsome) suggested a mixture of something else. It came out hot and was delicious!! It was coffee was some Bailey and kahlua. We ordered fried oysters, weeds salad, and a cup of tomato soup. THE TOMATO SOUP WAS AMAZING!! And addicting! Which is how I knew it had dairy in it! LOL!! I didn't finish it but maaaan I would take a whole container home if I could. But on to the weeds salad, it was nice, light, crisp, and refreshing BUT THAT DRESSING THOUGH!!! THAT CITRUS DRESSING THOUGH!!!!.....baybay let me tell you something, that dressing is slap yo mama good. I'm going back just for the salad dressing. Seriously lol. I saw that they have cheese curds on the menu as well as grilled cheese, making this the perfect spot to bring the kiddos to next time. Can't wait! My partner said he liked the oyster but his old fashioned could've been better. All in all, I give them 4 stars. Service-5Food-4Drinks-3Ambience-5

Boathouse 19 is in a great location with amazing views of the sound and Narrows Bridge. For dinner I ordered the chicken Caesar and it was delicious one of the better chicken Caesars I've had in sometime, however it was $22. I know food costs are high for restaurants, but that just seems unreasonable. The service was great and very attentive and friendly. All of the staff were great from the hostess to server to management staff onsite. The restaurant could use a little update on the inside but still a decent place to eat. The only reason they get a 3 star is for the price. The food is good but come on!

We got there and was told a 15 minute wait. It was more lie 5, so right on. It's a pretty spot for views during the summer or on a clear day. We ordered drinks and a fish sandwich and the salmon BLT. I didn't get a picture of my sandwich because I cut it half and it wasn't so aesthetically pleasing after my botched cut job. The salmon was cooked really well and delicious. The bacon however wasn't the best. Kinda thin and hard to bite through. But overall, a good impromptu dinner with a lovely friend.

I came back here for a Valentines Day dinner with my wife. I noticed there weren't a lot of reviews on steaks before I ordered the Grilled Royal Ranch Prime Top Sirloin. I don't even eat or order steak that much but I wanted to try something different. I'm glad I did. The steak was very good and flavorful. A little less seasoned than I normally like, but it didn't need much to improve it. I swapped out the Yukon potatoes for fries because why not? The restaurant was pretty busy but our waitress took care of us. We will definitely come back. It's a nice little spot for a date night.

We've been here a few times for lunch. A very nice menu and beverage list. For the times, reasonably priced. The service is always very good. Super friendly servers who add to the experience. I am hoping to come back on a warm sunny day and dawdle on the deck enjoying the view of the marina and Narrows.

Take me back to Boathouse 19! I cant get enough of this place! From the stunning views of the Narrows bridge to the perfect patio seating, I loved the vibes here and it's the perfect place to soak up some sunrays during a WA summer season.Regarding our meal, for lunch I had the Hawaiian Poke Salad. Yum Yum YUM! This dish took me back to Hawaii and gave me all the feels. The fish was fresh and the dressing was light. Perfect meal to make me not too full. Service as great too. I asked our server how long the seasonal desserts were going to last and she took the time to ask the chef to make sure I wouldnt miss out on an opportunity to try them. Seriously, their seasonal berry desserts are to die for. If I only had those desserts for the rest of my life, I would be a happy girl! I wish they kept them all year long, but I recommend trying one before the end of summer if they still have them.Excited to come back to Boathouse 19 in the near future, probably whenever I'm in the Tacoma vicinity!

I have been here a few times for happy hour, dessert, and date night dinner. They serve delicious cocktails and good food. I like trying the different seafood options and seasonal menu items. I have yet to get a seat out on the patio since it's always busy, but I'm hoping to try again next summer. The view of the narrows is beautiful. Kind staff.

This is a prime example of when stellar kitchen workers and waitstaff unfortunately have a toxic management company. The food is tasty but listed at unreasonable prices while shrinkflation has shrunk all proportions. I ordered the pan fried oysters for $30 and got 6 oysters, 4 tablespoons of fries and 2 tablespoons of coleslaw. On the brighter side, Melina was my waitress and was amazing! 3's for Athonys management.5's for waitstaff & kitchen staff.

Called in advance to make a reservation, during which we asked if dogs were allowed. We wanted to double check as there were pictures of dogs on the outdoor patio on their google page. We were told yes and that outside seating would be okay. Upon arrival we were promptly told no dogs allowed unless they are a service animal (with a service vest). Something that could have easily been relayed over the phone. The manager proceeds to give us word vomit trying to site different Tacoma laws as if we were being difficult. The issue at hand was not their dog policy. It was the fact staff was poorly trained over the phone and we made a 40 minute trip under false pretense. Do better! Oh and the cherry on top was that the manager said no one serving food in Tacoma would allow the dog to join us if it was not a service animal. Which we all know as locals is a blatant lie. Here's a couple pictures of where we went instead! Shout out to The fish peddler, one of the most consistent restaurants, with an excellent staff.
