Board and Brew - Encinitas

This latest addition to Encinitas' shopping scene, B&B, seamlessly complements the plaza's vibe. As a longtime fan of their sandwiches, I was thrilled when Encinitas location opened, and it quickly became our favorite. Now, this new spot offers a fantastic outdoor patio. Modern garage doors open up, creating a connection between the inviting bar area and the fresh California air. With ample seating, a sparkling clean environment, and friendly, fast service, it's easy to see why B&B is a hit, their turcado with the side of the signature sauce is still my favorite. And to top it all off, they have delicious local beers on tap!

Just as good as the other locations, but this one is next to a Trader Joe's so that's gotta give it more points.Remember to ask for extra orange sauce. They'll give you 2 automatically, but you'll want more.

Board and Brew is the premier sandwich shop in San Diego.When I was going to college my best friend worked at the del mar location and she introduced me to the Turkey Deluxe sandwich. I tried their signature Turkado but liked deluxe better because of the sesame seeds and sweet sauce. I have not eaten turkey since college but I wanted to explore the menu today.I attended the grand opening in Encinitas and it was packed. There were people floating around making sure that food was getting out correctly and checking in on customers.The menu is somewhat limited, with only one vegetarian sandwich and for pescatarians there is one option with fish. On top of that they do not offer rye, pumpernickel, Squaw or marbled rye bread. It is either sourdough, wheat or a roll.I took a turkado and a tuna sandwich to go. The sandwiches were gigantic and fresh. The tuna has a sweet pickle in it which I did not care for but I do not love pickles.I know that the Board and Brew will do well in Encinitas!

Consistent with all the other Board and Brews. Can't go wrong with any if the menu. They also have a nice size bar and patio area. That made it different then the Carlsbad and Del Mar locations.

I went to the grand opening last weekend on Friday. There was only 2 people in line in front of me and it moved quickly. I odered the turkado and the Italian sub and wandered around the restaurant whilst I waited. I love the outdoor area with the bar, such a nice outdoor space. The skateboard decor around the booths is a cool touch. My sandwiches were done pretty quickly and I took them to a friends.We both really enjoyed them. The perfect amount of seasonings and flavors and the sides of orange sauce were good too.I'm happy to have this so close me to me. I used to eat there when I lived in Del Mar! I look forward to returning

Grand opening! The place is small but there is an outdoor seating area if there are no tables available in door. This place is in a plaza with other restaurants, grocery stores and department stores. I've had better sandwiches BUT the service here was super helpful and friendly. For that, I'd return. I did get a chance to try their beef dip sandwich and I thought it was very well done. I'd recommend that if you're wanting a hot sammie!

We heard there was a new Board and Brew in town and just had to go and check it out. Decided to go on Sunday during their big grand opening and when we arrived I began to question our decision. It was super busy and there was a really long line but we stuck it out. And I am glad we did because the line moved fairly quickly and surprisingly enough with as many people as there were our order was ready in about 20 minutes. By the time we walked over to the local bakery , through Trader Joe's and back they were literally calling our name.The staff was great and handled the crowd like pros. The owner came out and was chatting with us all and even passed out drink coozies and chips. We ordered the chicken club and spicy chicken sandwiches and as usual neither were a disappointment. The club was tasty with crispy bacon and fresh tomatoes and the spicy chicken was loaded with plenty of peppers, onions and melty cheesy gooeyness. The bar was hopping and the décor as awesome as we expect (always love the Powell and Peralta boards lined around the seats). Tucked in the corner of the strip mall this Board and Brew location has plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Whether eating in or taking to go I believe you can never go wrong with grabbing a sandwich or salad (and don't forget their homemade potato salad and special sauce too).

Where do I begin, coming from regulars that frequent BnB 3 times per week. Jordan leads a well organized team and fills in when the store is short handed. We love coming here for happy hour where the drinks are $2 off every day 3-6, Wow!! They have a dedicated tap for hard seltzer and kombucha so if you have beer sensitivity then this is the place. The sandwiches are always good and super customizable, you can order any of their cold sandwiches as a half which isn't advertised. Their sauces add a great flair to their sandwiches, make sure to ask for their secret "iggy" sauce if you want to add a little kick to your sandwich. Daisy is our favorite manager, she recognizes you the minute that you walk in and makes you feel right at home. Her upbeat, positive demeanor makes you not want to leave. Kayla is great, always makes sure to welcome you and says good bye if she leaves before you. Hilary keeps the service prompt and manages the team well. Joey has a big smile when you walk in and is always keeps your drink topped off. Gray is a great asset to the team, she's always trying to attend to your needs whether you are sitting at the bar or in the dining area. Jack makes sure that the restaurant is in pristine condition and jumps from bar tending to taking orders at the counter. This restaurant has 2 large televisions and you can usually find a sport to watch wether you sit inside or outside. There is always plenty of parking in the back.

Friendly staff and excellent customer service, fun beach decor and happy hour for brews before 6p (their house IPA is excellent and at an unbeatable price)! My kiddo, who was a hardcore fan of J*rsey M*kes for years, now claims B&B makes a better sando!Bonus- I appreciate the to-go sandwich wraps provided, promotes less food wasteWill definitely add this spot to our rotation!

Cute beachy vibes, good food, I had the Turkado (Turkey Avocado) wrap so tasty. The special little sauce that came on the side was very yummy. Definitely recommend.
