Great food. Amazing flavors. My kids loved the fried rice. My husband loved the mango roll and the pesto roll. Though not enough pesto flavor. I had the nigiri. Smoked salmon was my favorite. Their cocktails are greatWe got the aviation and old fashioned The old fashioned was my favoriteWe also got the nigori sake. Excellent bottle.

My husband is vegetarian and he wanted to try this place because of their large vegetarian-friendly selection. We got the House Salad to share, he ordered the Vegetarian Combo, and I got the Blufish Don.Every item was delicious and flavorful. My husband was quite happy with the flavors and textures of his dish. I thought the seafood quality was pretty decent. We both left content and very full.We would definitely return if we are ever back in the area!

Went to Blufish for a work lunch and thought it was really good. I'd been to the Glenview location a couple of times but it was my first time at the Park Ridge restaurant.The Park ridge location is a little bit nicer and upscale. Tables are a little further apart and the decor is nicer. Service was solid with our waiter checking in on us frequently.For appetizers we got the crispy rice spicy tuna which was super tasty, the gyoza which were solid but nothing to write home about, and the coconut shrimp.For my mains I got the Chu-Toro Tuna Nigiri which was soo good and high quality. The fish melted in my mouth. I also got the spicy salmons roll which was very tasty. I also had a miso soup which was good.Would definitely go back.

The staff is so great making our whole family feel welcome from adults to kids. It's our kids favorite restaurant!!

Nice lunch portions and delicious sushi. They were very sweet when they overheard we were celebrating a bday they brought a yummy dessert (a mango sorbet).

Great welcome by hostesses even though we arrived before opening time; she sat us immediately. The Rolls and Sashimi are standard good. Server was not very knowledgeable of menu. Our friends do know the place and ordered a "black rice" that is different. Had a nice bottle of Gruner wine. Overall a good experience and nice ambiance.

We're Friday night dinners here kinda people... weekly (oops). We love the house salad and the edamame, so that's always our first order.We've had almost every roll on the menu, and our favs are golden ebi, sexy lady, and ocean drive.This spot is fancier than the other ones, so perfect for a date night.

This is our first time ordering delivery from this sushi place in Park Ridge. And we found every single roll we got was delicious. I can't imagine if we got full rolls of everything we would be stuffed . Glad we just got the half role of four different types of rolls. Nothing crazy but maybe that's the thing next time we'll have our basic what we really liked and try something new and different and adventurous.I gotta say, though the Wakame was amazing and you won't regret it if you get it it's. So we got the short special spicy tuna . A short, rainbow dragon.. my favorite, one crispy rice, spicy tuna, and then a simple spicy tuna. At least we know when we go in to eat at this place they have it handy review to remind me of what we should order again . And luckily, I found on our liquor shelf that we had a premium Ginjo sake enjoy it with our sushi. Sho Chiku Bai

Enjoyed a very nice dinner here on the back patio with my friends. Service was very good and we enjoyed a good variety of menu items including drinks, appetizers and different sushi rolls.I specially had a green tea, ginger salad, shrimp dumpling and a sushi roll with shrimp tempura and mozzarella on top. Everything was delicious. This restaurant has a large menu with many options. There are two patios (one in the back and one in the front) and a pretty large space for inside dining. I'd recommend a reservation because it was pretty packed for a Friday night dinner.

We really had a pleasant experience dining here the other evening. We were celebrating my Uncle's birthday and he loves Japanese food. Our party of 8 shared a variety of appetizers and entrees since we are not big eaters and like variety. We started with Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna rolls and Calamari & Vegetables w/ Ponzu dipping sauce. It was hard to tell which pieces were Calamari but they all tasted good. The other entrees ordered were: Nabe Yaki Udon, Tempura Udon, Braised Short Rib, Fillet Mignon, Blufish Don, and Yellowtail Collar. The udon portions were large and each portion could be shared by 2 people. The Blufish Don was also a large portion that could be shared by 2 people. The Filet Mignon was actually split by 2 people but a hungry person could maybe finish it by themselves. All of the dishes were fresh tasting and delicious. The prices were reasonable, especially considering portion sizes. Disclaimer: Our family doesn't eat really big meals so what might have fed 2 of us may be suitable for 1 with a heartier appetite.
