There's hundreds of great taco stands in the greater San Diego region, and I love them all, but this one stands out for me. Quality ingredients that taste super fresh. Decent portion size and fair prices. And, some real creativity, beyond the regular tacos and burritos. Definitely recommend!

Very friendly staff and really good tacos! Cheap prices and yummy food, we got the birria taco and some carne asada. The hibiscus drink is delicious as well. Just in the parking lot outside the Mex Mart but worth it for a good meal. The person serving us chatted to us about where they source their meat and also told us about various teas, etc. So friendly!! Definitely will be back.

Over all cheap prices and high quality. Business excepts card, cash and Venmo. Food is made pretty fast. Please be aware parking can be challenging but worth it.

Best food in town, I promise you! The supreme pollo asado quesadillas were so filling and well seasoned. The tacos were amazing. The Agua Fresca was a 10/10. Great service, informative workers. Open early and close late. You can't ask for much else. Prices are unbeatable. 5/5, no complaints. Skip Tacos El Gordo, this is the taco place you need to be.

This place is beyond amazing!!!! Their meat is well seasoned which is a must and I love that abt this place along with the fact that they add guacamole on your taco and optional pico de gallo and all this at such a good low price. Ive explored other places around the neighborhood and they do not compare! The owners and crew is super sweet, they are so kind and give the best of services. Please check this place out!!!!!

Amazing tacos and great staff. They have their truck right outside mex mart. Definitely will be coming back here often!
