I've been following this bakery for a while on Instagram and I love the creativity in their designs. I met Christina the pastry chef and owner and we reviewed wedding cake options.She was incredibly nice and professional. She had baked three gf nut based cakes with a thin buttercream layer so I could visualize the naked cake design I want.The cakes had a nice refreshing taste with local berries. They were also a really good size making my tasting fee of 20.00 well worth it as I was able to take a lot home.My favorite thing about the meeting was that Christina actually drew out my cake and used colored pencils so I could visualize what it would look like. No other place did that and I really appreciated her personalizing a picture for me to help me visualize the results.I really enjoyed her and her professionalism. It is also great that she offers gluten free baking. Excellent local bakery

We loved our cake for our wedding from Blue Box! It was beautiful, unique and most of all tasted amazing!! Everyone was talking about the cake after the wedding and how great it was. Christina was very communicative, friendly and even delivered and setup the cake herself! We tasted others and nothing even remotely compared! We also got a small gluten free cake for our guests and everyone raved about how amazing it was!

Our wedding cake from Blue Box was gorgeous and even better, it was delicious! Christina also did an assortment of late night desserts which were the hit of the party. Cannot recommend her (and her delectable creations) enough!

We hired Christina for our wedding after I spent months trying to find someone that not only makes great cakes, but also offers more than just macaroons and cookies for a dessert bar. Our wedding was last week and Christina absolutely delivered! We ordered basically everything on her menu including 2 types of cake (classic vanilla, chocolate with peanut butter and banana), brownies, lemon tarts, 2 types of galettes, cheesecake, and panna cotta with rainier cherry compote. Everything was a major hit! We are lucky our planners saved us a box with some of each or we probably wouldn't have gotten to try anything (and we thought we overordered). The favorite was definitely the panna cotta (although I also loved the lemon tarts and my husband the brownies). Christina was so helpful in planning how much we needed and was extremely flexible as we changed our minds. We couldn't have asked for a better baker for our special day.

When I found BBB through Seattle Korean Weddings, I was super excited not only because the cakes look amazing, but because my fiancé and I have been trying to support local, women of color owned wedding businesses. After browsing the website, we immediately knew which cake we'd like to order so we requested to skip the tasting and go straight to placing an order. I'm not sure if this and our other requests were off-putting (we asked if there any specials available to stay within our budget), but Christina's responses gave us the feeling that she did not want our business. The last email we received ended with recommendations to other cake vendors. It was disappointing to have not been able to work with Christina.

As a local Wedding Planning company, we LOVE working with Christina! Her items are not only SO delicious, but she is a rockstar with design for her custom cakes and desserts as well. We have done several weddings with BBB, as well as shoots etc and each time she nails it! We can't wait to work more weddings with her, and will for sure highly recommend her to all of our clients!

To say they have incredible cakes is just skimming the surface. Everything is fantastic in it's own right. If your searching for a wedding cake, you can stop looking. Oh yeah, and get a Buttermilk Biscuit. Your welcome.

It's been 4 years since my wedding, and I STILL get comments on how good my desserts were! Just this last weekend was my sister in laws birthday, and ever since she's been trying to recreate the chocolate peanut butter crunch cake at my wedding but nothing has hit the spot, and my other sister in law we gave some of the leftover marionberry panacotta and told me she treated every single one she ate like gold.My only gripe is that I would LOVE to order that cake again to surprise my SIL with, but alas due to the order minimum I probably won't be able to make it happen. Totally understandable as Christina is rightfully thoroughly booked with bigger orders.

If I could give Christina from Blue Box Bakery more stars I would! Christina was able to design a simple but elegant cake for our wedding that not only looked beautiful but tasted AMAZING. She also made some small desserts that were to die for. Everyone loved them! Not to mention, Christina was a joy to work with. I would highly recommend her for any of your dessert needs!

We hired Christina for our wedding cake & Batman macaron favors and they both were beautiful and delicious. Christina was wonderful with clear and quick communication, and made everything seamless. This is definitely our forever go-to bakery for special events. Thank you Christina!!!
