Block & Apron

I randomly saw the sign and decided to look Block & Apron up and glad I did. They have some pretty awesome deals. I went for the 20 filets for $99 to give the place a go. I had a couple and they were the best steaks I've had in a bit. So tender and tasty! I went in to get the deal and it was such a cool little shop. It was a quick experience. The person working there was quick and friendly. I will definitely go back! Since I got a bulk deal they were frozen, which is good, but I'll be back to try some of the fresh stuff!! So glad I found this spot!They even have free delivery in town if you spend $99+. Can't beat that!

Drove all the way out based on the good reviews. Turns out the "specials" they run are for frozen steaks. The rest of the thawed and vacuum sealed packs are pretty pricy @ $30 for a single filet.Now let's turn to the specials: One that I was willing to get was a 10 pack of 4oz filets for $100. Unfortunately, they were out. So let's break down the math: 10*4=40oz=2.5 lbs. So $40/lb for this "deal"? I get it, there is labor in carving, etc. But I could get Prime filets for almost 1/2 that price from Costco. Are you telling the quality is better here than a Prime filet? There is a similar shop in Scottsdale, closer trip. Again popped in and the options were limited. Unless I am missing something, these are not "butcher" shops that they claim to be, its simply a smaller footprint and option list than ay Omaha Steaks locations nationwide.Sorry, we pass.

Was recommend Block & Apron by a friend and we finally made it a priority to check out. We are bummed we didn't visit sooner! My wife and I stopped in to pick up some meat for the week and spoke with the general manager, Paul. Paul gave us an overview of all their products and even some other local products they carry (honey, sauces, dips, salsa, chips, etc.). They have quite the selection of meats and what we loved is the grass fed and finished selection. Fun fact: They just started carrying beef that is grass fed and carrot finished (meat is supposed to be a little sweeter). Looking forward to making this a regular spot for our family's proteins!

Love this place. I have been going here since they first opened.Awesome meat selection. Their Australian lobster tails are fantastic.The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

My Husband and I stopped in today for the first time and were so impressed by the quality, selection and the PRICE! We bought 10 ribeye steaks for $100! Can't wait to grill them tomorrow for Father's Day! We were greeted by the owner and his wife, they were so friendly and genuinely grateful for our patronage. They made us feel like we were old friends, I mean my Husband actually got teary eyed talking with the owner about the beef in Iowa where he is from. They have not only great meat selections but many other products that are clean. I saw at least 10 other items I am excited to go back to buy, like ready to air fry hot wings made with clean ingredients! I know we will continue to buy our meat from them and can't wait to be on first name basis with the owner and his sweet wife! Great to have a local owned small business in the neighborhood!

Came in for the Filet & Surf and Turf deals, and not only were we treated wonderfully at the Gilbert location, and got a great deal - we were BLOWN AWAY by the meat quality! Super tender and flavorful, and bought them for other friends as well who share the same thoughts. Although they are small, they are mighty and you can always eat 2 at a sitting if you prefer. We are really enjoying them, and looking forward to trying to lobster! I'll definitely be back to replenish when this stock runs out!

So convenient, well stocked, reasonably priced and great service at the counter. Only burgers and rib eyes so far, but 100% satisfied.

What a hidden gem. I live not far and finally decided to check this place out. They run amazing specials and clearly have high quality meat. What I loved most were the other local items they had for sale like honey and salsas I typically find at the farmers market. They let me know that they receive weekly shipments so everything is always fresh. I'll be back!

Best quality meats I have tried , the Gouda spicy cheese was a great addition aswell!!!
