Blarney Stone Pub

This place is the place to be .. I love to come here after work the staff is Very friendly.. my fav bar tender is terissa and Megan these ladies know how to make you feel welcome .. the bar is very clean.. I love this bar

" Nice Bartender & Great Selection "I went to The Blarney Stone Pub in El Cajon today to attend a wine tasting event run by the Grocery Outlet, which is a few doors down from the Blarney Stone Pub. Francis the owner was at the end of the bar the entire time talking with customers. Gabrielle the Bartender was very nice, and was hustling around the bar taking care of everyone wishes for drinks. The Blarney Stone Pub has been in El Cajon for 15 years and has another location in the Clairmont area of San Diego. They have a wide range of beers and cocktail drinks that they serve their customers and they also have daily drink specials. The Pub has a few pool tables and many TV's so customers can enjoy playing games or watching TV. They also have Karaoke 7 nights a week which starts at 9:00 pm. The place could probably use a make over on it's inside decorations, but all in all it's just an average local Pub hangout !

Roaches !!!! R O A C H E S everywhere!This is by far the worst bar I've ever been too! Unfortunately I know someone that comes here, so we decided to hangout at this bar for the night.I got a bottled beer and thank god i did, cause I don't want to drink from those nasty roach flavored glasses.

Nice neighborhood bar with almosy nightly karaoke and pool leagues, but there's 3 pool tables so you can always get a game or 2 in. Reasonably priced and good bartenders lead by G (though they can get stuck at one end of the bar or the other occasionally.)

The Blarney Stone Pub (full service bar despite the "pub" name) is the epitome of a hole in the wall--in the best way! The bartender (G is the only one I've been served by...not sure if names are allowed) is energetic, attentive and witty. The crowd may look rough, if you're not, but they are inordinately friendly. BSP will be my regular stop for as long as I can imagine.

A breakdown of San Diego's Worst Bar:1. Service is what you would expct from a bar right in between to a Dollar Tree and a Grocery Outlet. Slow, horrible, and reeking of "Yeah , I finished high school. A G.E.D. counts, right?"2. Do not ever let one of the "locals" take issue with you. If you upset the "locals" in the slightest way, (this includes such minor infractions such as paying for your drinks the same night and not saying "next payday, put it on my tab.", indicating you are "better than them" or "this lady was obnoxious to me several days ago, and that guy over there [points at someone who you don't even know] said you were her man.") you will find yourself kicked out. Furthermore, the person that kicks you out will be an "overachieving" ex-employee who you thought was securiy by the way he acted, but in fact is not.3. Most of the bartenders are obviously under employed and should be working far better paying gigs, and it shows. With the exception of one. I think her name is Katie (I wouln't know for sure because she never introduced herself) provided the slowest, rudest, most deplorable customer service ever. Including, but not limited to such basic "bartending don'ts" as arguing with a customer who's conversation she had no say in or invitation to, threatening a customer, denying service based on discriminatory reasons, and so on.4. Did I mention there is one particular customer they allow in to beg other patons for drinks? Interesting, they know its happening, they just allow it.5. Behind the bar is absolutely disgusing. It remains to me a mystery whether I was getting drunk from the alcohol, or just in the early and delusionary stages of toxic shock. The floors, counters, bar, and restrooms have most certainly never seen the likes of any sort of cleaning/maintenance device.6. Don't even think for one second that you can leave your drink on the bar and partake in a cigarette, unless you want one of their highly defended "locals" to drink your beer for you.

Came in after work laugh my ass off I was in a bad mood. Just had a client pass on me. Did not get me a drink? He's mad at me too and the world that night he said something rude to me and I told him to do his job, so he 86 me oh my God I am still laughing to death over this. I tell everybody it's freaking funny if you know G you know ? lol lol

Great place to hangout and chill! great people, delicious drinks and always good vibes!

Fun bar if you like to sing karaoke and play pool! Brittany and Ashti are exquisite, very sweet and fast

Beer prices are ok, avoid Monday night unless you are a ( bad) caraoke can. Also the men's room smells like it has not been disinfected in weeks
