Black Tap - Nashville

Was referred to this place while I was in town for business. Had looked up it up prior and seemed to have a good vibe to it. Walked in and there was no hostess at all and stood around for what seemed like 5 or so minutes. A server finally came up and sat me . Looked over the menu and decided on the Tennessee burger and ordered a soda . Waited for what seemed like 20-30 minutes for my food and my server never really checked on me or refilled my drink. Wasn't the friendliest person and I figure for a tourist town you should probably show a little more hospitality The glass of soda definitely seemed small as I felt like I drank it really quickly. Server didn't come back to refill it much . Finally got the burger and it was alright. It was cooked pretty much to how I had asked, medium rare. It just didn't seem like it was worth the $20. I come to Nashville a lot for business but won't be back

On this visit I ate lunch at the bar. First the burgers are excellent and they have a nice cocktail menu. The other plus, since is not on Broadway you're not paying that Broadway upcharge. I was eyeing them making the shakes which looked amazing but I decided against the shake while I was there. Staff was great, attentive, but not pesty. Not too chaotic it was pretty quiet the day I was there, but according the bartender, I just missed CMA-fest he said everything in the area was busy!

The food was amazing! Our waitress was very kind and friendly. We loved how the place was decorated. It was fun and unique!

Excellent burgers... gets busy but worth the wait. Has vegan and vegitarian option , but not main them. Great selection of beers. Cafetria style Atmosphere..

Randomly stopped here for dinner! So happy we did. Angela was a delight and made us feel welcome. Her service was legend...........wait for it.........her service was legendary folks! On another note, the food was outstanding. Whoever the Chef was, they did us right. We ordered the Pizza Burger and the Texan Burger. Meat was on point and cooked to perfection. Fries were crispy and delicious.don't forget to order the fried pickles!! Delicious!! ...and check out the Brooklyn Blackout Shake! Thank you all!!!

Best burgers in town, off-the-hook wings, and CrazyShake milkshakes that will make your jaw drop! Super cool design and pro staff. I'll be back!

Enjoyed our time here - ate @ the bar - Isabel was great! Fun & knowledgeable about food & drink menu. Good bar vibe & atmosphere - welcoming on a rainy & cold spring day. Would definitely return & would recommend if in downtown Nashville but want to be a little bit away from the loud & crazy crowds.

Woohhh Isabel is an amazing bartender. The Tennessee Burger is outstanding. Great atmosphere and service. We will come back here.
