Loved the crab cake, but they need to tone down the spiciness of the remoulade. The heirloom tomato salad is terrible and needs to be more like a caprese salad. The bar has potential to be a cool high-end mixology lounge, but needs more mixers to give the bartender the options to experiment more.

From the moment we entered I knew this would be a special experience. Perfect for an intimate meal or date night. My girlfriends and I were sat by the musicians and we enjoyed a lovely evening in this moody dimly lit spot. We ordered cocktails, the sourdough bread app and then main courses. The service was great, simple and not fussy. I got the rigatoni ragu, my friends got the shrimp and lentils and the half chicken. We all shared and every dish was special in its own way. This is the way I love to dine. Simple meals with great flavors and a cool ambiance.

This place is a diamond amongst the chaos. Just up from broadway and the noise and the people is this amazing restaurant. The food was spectacular and the service matched the food. Friendly server's and host. Loved loved loved this place. It was a lovely dinner and time out from the craziness that is Nashville. You have to eat here, too awesome for words. Thanks everyone at the black rabbit for making my first time in Nashville amazing.

Walked in on a Monday evening and got a table. What a beautiful and friendly restaurant. The gin cocktails were out of this world! I forgot the names, but they were on the menu on top of each other :) The brussel sprouts were the tastiest ones I've ever had, and I've had a lot! The tamarind pork was tasty--those veggies were everything! The star of the show--the pork rabbit sliders! They literally melted in my mouth. Service was great! We had an attentive waiter and the manager was out there serving food and greeting folks. I love that. Also, the crowd was not so touristy and you can chill with a cigar without it being smokey. Don't let that deter you--I can't stand smoke.I look forward to going back to taste the rest of the menu items and to listen to the live band.

Came because of a gift certificate, will be back because it is excellent!Really great creative dishes and a few familiar ones too. We enjoyed the pork & rabbit sliders (a house made spam, in the best way possible, and scratch-made Hawaiian bread) and the cod panzanella salad - who doesn't love a salad based in delicious sourdough bread?! Drinks were great too, and a happy hour that's hard to beat. Service was excellent as well, we felt very welcome and enjoyed the vibe. Will be back soon!

Stopped in drinks & snacks before show at Ryman. Got seats at bar and ordered house Old Fashioned. Menu is extremely limited imho but we ordered smoked cheese/crackers and a small plate of tuna w cherry sauce. Cheese & crackers were totally uninspired and could have been Philly brand at best. Tuna was ok but kind of a steak cut but sauce was good. The atmosphere was great but unimpressed with our limited sample of good. The servers and staff were all really nice though.

OMG talk about some creative food! I am a foodie and the flavor combinations at this place are mind blowing. Ambiance is super quaint and cozy. Must try is the sourdough bread. Made in house and then smoked in their wood oven and served with a delicious Parmesan butter. Never had this smoky, salty, earthy sourdough combo before and it was delicious! Service was awesome too! Great waiter who loved his job. Fun time and great creative drinks too!!
