Black Bear Frozen Yogurt

We decided to go to this place one night because we were craving some frozen yogurt and was recommended to try this place. The parking here was actually not bad, but it could be very busy. The different variety of flavors were amazing and the different toppings was cool! My favorite is combining the pineapple froyo with the lihing mui powder, try it out! The service was okay and the music was great. Very clean as well.

I have tried out this place twice already and both times I felt regretful afterwards wishing I went somewhere else instead. The good: a good amount of seating and games to enjoy while eating your frozen yogurt. The frozen yogurt flavors are amazing also. The not so great: half of the toppings the staff has to put on for you if you want those toppings and it's hard to see what they even are because of the covers on top. I don't mind asking what's available also, but both times I have been here the staff hasn't been very friendly and it just feels like you're bothering them by even being there.. let alone asking a question. I rather put my own toppings on my frozen yogurt and I wish all of the toppings were self serve. Overall: you can get more bang for your buck at other frozen yogurt shops and you can put all of your toppings on yourself so I don't think I will be returning back.

This is a great froyo place! I been wanting to try this place out for a while now. I finally have the chance to recently. Great service and ice cream! They also have snacks and coffee as well. You can sit down and enjoy your treat and play some game at the table. They have plenty of game on the shelf that people can grab.

Loved this place , took my children after dinner and they loved being able to choose from all of the many options here . The cashier was very nice and informative about different flavors and add ons .

I wish I could give them zero stars because this is the worst establishment in Tacoma that I have found. Rude, condescending, narcissistic personnel. I would not recommend this over priced place to anyone. Plus I'm not sure how sanitary it is but the last two times I went there it gave me the runs.

Black Bear FroYo never disappoints and is always a crowd pleaser with the kids. So many options to choose from including non dairy which is important for one of my crew. There are a lot of toppings to choose from candy, to fruit, cereal, popping bubble things, brownie, cheesecake etc! They keep the cold items behind the counter and the employee has to serve you. Which is fine because then you know not everyone is touching the utensils and having access to those items. Personally, I appreciate it. You don't get your toppings yourself at subway or chipotle so this should be no different or matter that much. Service has always been warm, welcoming and friendly as well as the whole vibe of the place. It's really chill and spacious for being a froyo place. Theres music on, games, plenty of seating and it's always clean. I'm here now and there's not even dust on any of the ceiling or light fixtures.

So, the good? They are super friendly, it's a relaxing environment with a fireplace, and they have several frozen yogurt selections, including vegan sorbet. The not so great? It's so expensive! My daughter Is the only one who ordered something and it came to over $12. I think it's 70 cents an ounce or so. I don't know how this compares to the competitors, but I just can't spend $12 a person on dessert regularly. Bummer because it was really good.

Very clean, cute and well organized. The staff was friendly, informative and super respectful. Q Was my server today and absolutely nailed it. They had a great selection of both smoothies and frozen yogurt flavors as well as toppings to go along with it. The self serve area was stocked, neat and clean. I decided to go with the strawberry banana frozen yogurt with strawberry, captain crunch berry and a little cookie dough as toppings and It surely hit the spot. Wether you're looking to take the family out, date night or just to cool off after a long day, I would absolutely recommend!

Kiwi pineapple protein smoothie I usually make my smoothies but this place makes the price worth.
