I should probably update it since it's been four years since my last review. One reason we go here is for the people. The servers are just the nicest people. It helps that they remember us when we visit, showing how often we've been coming here. They recently remodeled, and honestly, I'm not a fan. It has more of a country club dining room feel, and I prefer the darker, more intimate setting. Luckily, the people didn't change much, and our familiar faces remain. Part of the remodel also included a small menu revamp, which is just as good as it was before. However,I would like to see thse cheese biscuits back. The food, as always, is still top-notch. We travel to Vegas two or three times a year and always hit up one or two steak houses while there. Black and Blue has become our comparison steak house and often wins. Again, it has a lot to do with the people, but I can't discount the food. Prime rib is my usual go-to, and my dinner partner always gets the Surf-n-Turf. I decided to shake things up a bit and went for the 8-oz Filet Mignon as I could never finish the Prime Rib. After I ordered a baked potato on the side, they offered me the $70 meal special, but that was just too much food. Well, the change didn't disappoint at all. It may be my new norm for a while now. They do have excellent desserts, but we're often too full to even think about them and feel bad when we order one and can't finish it. However, if there's a party of 3-4, you could easily split a dessert if you need a small sampling of something sweet.

Our server was Star and she was an absolute star along with the rest of the staff here! They were attentive and made our night special. Celebrating an engagement and birthday in the group and they made us all feel celebrated. First got to start with some delicious bread and butter. That croissant muffin or whatever it was was fireeeee!!! We all got different dishes to try out: the pork chops, the prime rib, the ribeye, and new York strip. Everything tasted amazing but the best thing was probably the pork chop. This pork chop was extremely tender, had the flavors of a delicious breakfast sausage with the herb seasonings they had on there. 10/10 experience and would highly recommend.

What an amazing experience! We went to dinner for a celebration and cannot wait to go back. The starter, the bread selection, the soup and salads, the drinks... everything was beyond wonderful but our favorite part was our servers. Eli and Isaac were phenomenal to say the least. Attentive, kind, personable, what more could you ask for. Thank you for an amazing, tasty, memorable experience!

This hidden gem inside the Valley View Casino is by far one of my favorites restaurants to go to. Not only is the casino a nice low key place to go to versus some of the bigger casinos around, but they really have upped their game in regards to foodie perfection. The service is impeccable especially if you get Starr and the food is divine! I highly recommend any of the steaks or even better yet get the 3 course meal for only $69! It is by far the best bargain out there for fine dining. I usually order a salad, but their soups are just as yummy. We split some oysters and while their variety of breads and specialty butters are so good, try not to fill up on it and save room for all of the courses including the desserts.I tend to overfill on the savory courses, but you have to make room for their desserts. If you have never had them before definitely try the baked Alaska and baked soufflé because you won't regret it at all. Both dishes can't be taken to go so I would pack up the rest of the entree and pig out on the dessert. They even put in extra effort for their drinks. If you order iced tea or lemonade you will know why and definitely for the I like to try everything in my coffee person this is your go to place. Think mini coffee bar with a bunch of sides to add into your coffee.Have I got you drooling yet? I hope so. Let me know what you think.

This restaurant is located inside the casino. You can use the free valet parking. Once you get past the smokey casino, you will enjoy the nice ambience of the restaurant. There was 10 of us and we were celebrating 2 birthdays and got seated in a room with a table that fit the 10 of us perfectly. Our waitress, Eli, was amazing. She was able to keep up with all the requests and kept all the drinks refilled and was always on top of everything. Most of us did the pre fix menu and we were able to do the lamb with the pre fix , just need to ask and pay a little more. Get a soup or salad , main course and dessert. Great deal for $69.The steak, the lambs and the fish were cooked to perfection. Everything was great and would recommend this restaurant .

We had dinner here just a few days ago as we were celebrating one of our brother's birthday. We wanted to go somewhere near our airbnb and this restaurant popped up. Read some of the reviews and saw that most were good so we went ahead with our reservation since we are a large group of 10.This restaurant is situated inside Valley View Casino. It's not hard to find - just need to walk through some of the slot machines and it's right next to the Cashier. We got Eli as our server and she's just awesome! Made our dinner so enjoyable and fun. The food was a little slow to come out but the quality made up for it. I ordered the lamb racks and it was one of the best I've had. The french onion soup was good too. Our drinks were frequently refilled without us even asking. The seafood was fresh. And the desserts - ooh - so divine! Some of us ordered coffee and they came with sugar stick, whipped cream, chocolate spoon all nicely arranged on the side. I really like the presentation for this. Overall we had a nice time and would highly recommend this place. Thumbs up!

We went here for my boyfriend's birthday. It is definitely a special occasion restaurant. We went with another couple and all four of us loved it! The only thing we didn't like was the sautéed mushrooms - didn't have much flavour. They would be better with sauce. We were drooling over everything else, though. Just a heads up - 20% gratuity is included for every bill, even if you are not a large party.

Came here for Sunday dinner as we were staying at a nearby resort and yelp helped with providing enticing pictures. Let me say, this place impressed me! From the decor of the restaurant (recently remodeled), the service and the food were impeccable! Tim our server and the supporting cast were a pleasure to dine with as each team member knew their role and executed it perfectly. The food, was just as great as the service if not better! To start off, they bring a variety of breads to choose from, all top notch breads WOW! We then tried the oysters on half shell which were fresh, juicy and plump. We tried the soup of the day (I can't recall the name) but it was tasty. I ordered the ultimate surf & turf (scallop, shrimp, king crab leg, Australian lobster tail and one of the best filet mignon I've ever had, and that's saying a lot because it's not my favorite cut of meat, but it was perfectly seasoned with some red wine reduction sauce, SIMPLY DEVINE! I also got a bite of the Chilean sea bass which was delish. And my buddy ordered the pork chop who said it was "alright." He also agreed with me when he tried a piece of my filet mignon by saying it was "really good." We wrapped up the meal with two desserts, the crème brûlée which was caramely and creamy and came with what appeared to be a piece of granola. We also tried the baked Alaska which was heavenly and will order again and again!! The quality, the portion sizes and the value were out of the park. I waddled my way of of this restaurant with my belly super full. I shall return when in town again for sure!!PS: I forgot to mention the coffee... WOW... all the fancy fixings to go with it like sugar crystals on a stick! If you are a coffee aficionado, it will hit the spot.

Had one of THE BEST dinners ever . And go figure - at a casino for crying out loud. Evie was the hostess and Star was our server. Both girls made our celebratory bday dinner so wonderful. My family frequents this casino often and receives vouchers for restaurants. I didn't expect much from this steakhouse dinner but was BLOWN AWAY by how much we all enjoyed the meal and experience .And we are tough food critics within our family. The experience, from start to finish, seemed effortless and flawless. Star was simply so patient, kind, warm, and just darn good. Her helpers were equally professional. The meal starts with complimentary olives, nuts, and cheese. You also get to sample a bread basket, brought warm to table, of four different breads and three different butters. We also opted for a bottle of Pinot Noir (priced pretty well compared to a glass of it). BF also ordered a cocktail ($16).We all decided to go for their 3 course dinner for $69/pp. You get to choose a salad/soup, 4 different entrees, and any dessert. It also includes coffee and tea which I didn't realize until I looked at menu again just now. We tried:Split pea soup:- very rich and creamy according to everyoneHouse salad:- so ridiculously refreshing with the meyer lemon vinaigrette. The greens were so fresh and crisp. I wish it was a bigger serving but otherwise a great starter before mealCaesar salad:- BF said it was good but anchovies were deliciousChilean Sea bass:- this was DONE RIGHT. Chilean sea bass is my favorite fish ever as it reminds me of childhood memories eating with my father. This version was prepared so delicately and so well executed. The exterior had a nice crust but the flesh remained silken and moist. The sweet basil pesto paired perfectly with the tart sundried tomatoes and fresh zucchini. Brandt Filet mignon:- really good cut of meat and cooked to the right requested tempCreme Fraiche Cheesecake:- creative and tasted really good (says BF)White Chocolate Pistachio Souffle:- LISTEN. Listen well. I dislike white chocolate and pistachio in ANY dessert. I adore souffle when it's done right, which let's be honest, is a difficult feat. Star told me this souffle (flavors vary each day) was worth it. I trusted her THAT much to order and try this. And dangggg. One of THE BEST SOUFFLES I've ever had. It brought back more childhood memories of eating with my father. The souffle was 100% baked to order and came piping hot and SKY HIGH to the table. It was served with a side of creme fraiche with chopped pistachios. The souffle was a generous portion. The top was beyond perfection and the interior tasted light and fluffy. GET THIS SOUFFLE WHEN YOU ARE HERE.Baked Alaska:- sis loved this but I didn't try it. The coffee served was presented in a ridiculously thoughtful and immaculate way. We're talking chocolate dipped biscotti, whipped cream, caramel/honey, chocolate spoons, sugar sticks. The decaf tasted like heaven after the dessert.Let me tell you what set Star apart. She packaged everything for us and when I asked if we could take home the left over bread on table, she smiled and said yes and would I like a few extra ones as well. Be still my beating stomach's heart. She also packaged the fantastic butters for us. AND also packaged the coffee condiments (chocolate spoons and whipped cream) as I told her I would totally eat it later for a 2nd dessert.I was so glad the restaurant puts an automatic 20% tip on full price of the meal as she and her staff deserved every penny of that. We also tipped her additional cash as we enjoyed the dinner and service that much. I can't recall the last time I said hey let's return to a casino restaurant for another meal. It's a long drive for us but I would absolutely return just for Star and another memorable meal with the family.
