BizBaz Boba

I feel really bad giving only 3 stars because the place was so cute, all the stickers, hats, purses, pins, keychains, etc were so cute! I love the goal of the studio and how it's really giving creators a space to sell their items! I only gave 3 stars because my milk tea tasted like milk and water. The nite nite tasted good but all of our boba was super hard. It didn't taste fresh like I had hoped.

Wow, if you ever wanted to sip on boba surrounded by pastels while listening to city pop, this is the place!Not only is it a boba shop, it's a kawaii shopping experience featuring local artists through out the entire store and the walls.This is what I wish was opening the college area when I was going to SDSU but hey, I can come in and work on my own projects in the cozy atmosphere. At least I'm not worrying about tests!

This is a really nice boba shop if you're into pop culture. On top of having really good drinks they also sell unique fandom merchandise and original pieces made by indie artists. Also check out their social media because they often have free local events that make great hang out spots. Overall cannot recommend enough, please check it out!

Any time I'm in San Diego I make it a point to drop by. Tasty (and cute) boba drinks and lots of stickers and pins featuring local art. Been to a few of their many free events as well. Super lovely staff that does so much for their community!

I went there for an event for the brewery and piqued my interest since I love boba. In few words I went there twice and I don't think I will be going back for the boba, but to enjoy the merch they sell. The people who worked there was so nice, attentive and professional. I just had issues with the quality of the boba and the tea they have. First day I tried them I had Thai iced tea and it didn't taste anything different yet I paid almost 6-7 dollars with 1 topping, which seemed expensive but I tried anyways. It was way too sweet and also not mixed properly. Second day was after few weeks I went back to visit the brewery and ordered a regular milk tea with boba which I paid almost 8-9 dollars for. I adjusted my sweetness and ice this time and it was too watered down. Plus the boba was too over cooked. I felt like I paid almost 8 dollars for water. With so many places having so many boba options in SD where I can get a large boba with toppings under 7 dollars I will be visiting for their boba again, but the events they hold is fun with great vibes

I can taste the tea! It is not overly sweet like most boba chains and has a unique twist with special flavors. Fantastic hole in the wall boba shop!

BizBaz is run by Jules and Stephen, and they are the sweetest, coolest people I've met. Their drinks are delicious, but they do so much more as well! They are constantly hosting events that manage about 20+ artist vendors at a time. All of their events are fun and high energy, and there good vibes all around. They provide karaoke and performances while allowing showcasing small businesses. If you're into nerdy pop culture, then this is the place to be!

The jeremie boba drink had green apple tea, oat milk with green apple jelly. Felt pretty unique and really good!

Always a great experience when I come and get boba here! The owner is very kind and offers dairy-free options, which lets me enjoy "milk" teas again due to my lactose intolerance! The vibe of the shop is excellent too, it has a charming atmosphere to it and is decorated with a variety of pins and knick-knacks that you can purchase as well if you are trying to spruce up your look or gift to a friend. I've been coming here as well as the monthly artist market on the last Sunday of every month for almost a year now! The monthly event features amazing attractions like modified JDM cars, karaoke, and a maid café that does Japanese related song performances! Definitely should check it out if you're ever in the area and most definitely check it out if you love boba served with a smile and willingness to make your experience even better than the last!

Friendly service but the boba doesn't taste great. I got the doki which was a strawberry boba and nite nite, taro boba.
