So, you don't come here for the food, it's definitely for the experience. I didn't realize that Boston had only a handful of hibachi spots and this seems to be the main one. It's inside a hotel, plenty of parking which is free if you validate at the front desk. We came on a Sunday and it was full of families with young kids, I quickly realized it was because kids eat hibachi free on Sundays with the purchase of an adult hibachi meal. That's a pretty good deal. All portions, including the kid's size are generous. The food is just ok, but again that's not why you're there. The servers were kind and accommodating, also very efficient. Our hibachi grill master, was ok, he did a couple of fun tricks, but I noticed that some of the others had more flare. We asked them for a birthday dessert for one of our kids and they happily obliged even playing a birthday song over the sound system. This is not where you go if you want an outstanding meal, but it was fun, the kids had a great time, and was fairly priced.

This might be one of the worst meals I've ever had. Should have checked yelp first. They have an easy grift luring in business travelers.

I haven't been here in so many years. I brought my husband, our 3 children, my oldest daughter's husband and their 2 young sons. We had the best time. The staff was amazing, the hibachi chef was outstanding and our meal was plentiful and delicious.

Very good food and decent prices. Service was nice and pretty fast. There was also a bar area seating if you didn't want the full hibachi experience.

Always have a good meal here. The dinner itself is ofc super entertaining and fun and the food is great too. There was a bit of a wait even though we had a reservation but it was okay. This place is definitely my go to hibachi spot.

Honestly what you'd expect given the previous reviews and the fact that this is in a random hotel along Memorial Drive. The service was okay at best - the hostess was very inattentive and the servers weren't the most attentive. Our sushi roll and soups came out in a reasonable time which was nice. The ambiance felt relatively clean, however I will say thatrhe floor was sticky in the lobby of the hotel which you need to cross to get to the bathroom. Very strange. The chef was entertaining enough and did their best I think, but the show wasn't inspiring or anything. They had a normal hibachi show with shooting food in people's mouth and the onion fire which was overall not bad to see. The food that came out at the end wasn't spectacular either, just mediocre in flavor and portion. Overall, I went in with relatively low expectations and this place met them. Not a bad meal or experience, just not the greatest and there's likely better places to spend this amount of money.

Came here because we wanted to do a hibachi and this one was the closest to our home.Overall, very "meh." Service was fine and most items came out quickly. The chef couldn't have been less interested in putting on any sort of show, though, and the food was just okay. Steak was good, chicken and calamari were mediocre. Likely wouldn't come back.

As a Japanese person I was very sad. This is one of the only places that does teppanyaki anywhere in Boston. But I wouldn't consider this Asian food, they didn't even give us chopsticks. The teriyaki(?) sauce was off.... plus the dipping sauces were not good. An additional $3 for fried rice, teppanyaki should always include fried rice. Finally, the service. We barely had our waters refilled and they took 20 minutes to bring us our check after we finished eating.

I never write reviews but the experience and the food at this place was so bad that I felt compelled to share it so nobody else has to waste money and time.We were in Cambridge visiting colleges and staying at a Marriott Courtyard in an area with limited dining options. Unlike most Marriott's which offer a restaurant/bar option run by the hotel, this restaurant rents space from the property and is the only non-breakfast place to eat onsite. One night we got back too late to head out for another option so we went across the lobby to Bisuteki for dinner despite the series of negative reviews we saw on Yelp. Once again, Yelp doesn't lie!To start off, the overall ambiance is flat out dour. Think outdated bar decor and furniture. Multiple members of a stunningly lifeless staff were hanging around near the entrance. Not one of them greeted us beyond a "where do you want to sit?" Not one of them looked happy. Because there was nobody else in the place and she apparently had nothing else to do, our waitress came over as we sat down and took our drink order. My $9 Sapporo Silver Can beer was delivered nearly at room temperature. My son's $2.50 Coke was in a small glass packed with ice leaving him with about three sips worth of actual soda.We should have left at that point but hunger is a powerful thing...Before I go on, let me state that both my son and I are Japanese food fans and eat the cuisine regularly so our thoughts on this meal came from a solid knowledge base.I ordered the $30 Deluxe Sushi Dinner and my son had the $27 Grilled Teriyaki Steak. Both were awful - literally the worst Japanese food of any kind that we have ever had. There is simply no other way to say this. My 10-piece sushi dinner was worse than pre-packaged supermarket nigiri served past its expiration date. The pieces were paper thin, dry, chewy and tasteless - everything you don't want from sushi. The miso soup that came with the meal was diluted and lukewarm. It was like drinking warm, cloudy salt water. The accompanying salad had been pre-made and came with a lump of dressing that had congealed. I could not discern exactly what the dressing was upon taste. A small bowl of white rice was also included,My son suffered through the same weak miso soup but left his salad untouched after seeing my reaction to it. The steak was the saddest piece of meat I've ever seen in a restaurant. This small piece of sliced beef sat in the middle of a circle of wilted, super soft steamed vegetables. The steak came drowned in a cloying and lukewarm Teriyaki sauce. The sauce so overwhelmed the steak that there was no actual steak taste. It was like chewing sauce that had hardened into a meat-like texture. As bad as the food was, the overall attitude and vibe of our server was worse. We asked for chop sticks for my son and she tossed them at us across the table as she walked by. When the check arrived, it was literally dropped on the table. There was no "how was your meal?" (a question I would have welcomed) or "would you like anything else?" I guess she must have known the answer to both of those questions in advance so why ask.I consider myself a good tipper but nothing here warranted a tip so none was left.Given the subterranean caliber of the food and unpleasant combination of surliness and lack of effort put forth by the staff, the only other thing I can say is summed up in four words:Do. Not. Come. Here.
